All these other youtubers saying they can't show a slide removal from a pistol and this guy over here with a full build, Love it, definitely subing this channel!!!
The reason they don't want to show it on other channels is they are in it for the money. They demonetize you if you don't meet their "standards". It's just another snowflake pandering load of crap that the platforms do.
I've been into PC Building for years because it always felt like adult Legos to me and a lot of fun and I now realize that building a AR-15 for the first time is almost the exact same feeling lol
I'd add pop up sights and a light to finish it off, but otherwise it looks great. Another thing is maybe put the cost of these items or total cost in the video.
Just built my first AR after doing tons of research, I wanted the best bang for your buck, lightweight / no frills, left handed friendly, and reduced gas blowback as much as possible. Heres what I came up with: -BCM mk2 lightweight BFH upper. the way they shrink and relocate the brass deflector and forward assist is better than any other upper ive seen, perfect for lefties. BCM also includes their mk2 charging handle that redirects gas slightly and includes a BCG completely for free, I think after shipping and everything it came to almost $1000 exactly. I do plan on swapping out the bcg later for a KAK down vent to reduce the gas blowback even more for suppressed used, they also have different color options to make your rifle look 🤌 -aero gen 2 lower, this was an aesthetics choice and nothing else, personally I don’t like the sharp edges of the m4e1 combined with the smooth edges of the bcm upper. -larue mbt 2s curved trigger, normally $115 but I got it on sale for $85. From the reviews its pretty identical geissele trigger but at half the cost. probably the best bang for you buck trigger on the market right now. -bcm recoil mitigation buffer kit, this is bcms rendition of the a2 style buffer system, pretty much the exact same. I went with the t2 buffer for suppressed used. Not that much more expensive than a milspec buffer kit. -FCD 50Q ambi safety, probably the most gucci part of the entire rifle, $100 after shipping for a safety is pretty crazy but I really wanted short levers on both sides, and this safety has been highly praised online for a good reason. everything else is personal preference but I went with a b5 grip, b5 bravo stock, b5 panel covers, aero LPK, magpul polymer trigger guard, mbus flip sights, and a ferro slingster. I will be adding an exps3 later down the road and a polonium K. thanks for sharing your build!
Got my Aero Pro lower, it's one of the first 1000 made. Its beautiful and extremely well made. Added a super light upper and all the goodies. It's so sick.
The screws are not proprietary. I bought a bunch of 4-40 screws off amazon. I also bought a 4-40 tap so I could put the same screws on my other lower receivers. It's aluminum so it's pretty easy.
Question? What about a PISTON DRIVEN KIT, instead of a direct impingement? What about a AR 10 buffer kit? I'd take a Daniel Defense RIS II over the 3. Nice CHARGING HANDLE Radian Raptor I would be fine with a 90 degree selector switch. What about a angled fore grip? Vickers Sling is great Id take a 3 prong or 4 prong flash suppressor Mag pul pistol grips are nice No mention of what kind of AR 15 suppressor. Any kind of loc tite as well?
I have done about a dozen for myself and some friends, I love to personalize to how I plan to use them. I currently have four for myself and not a one of them from the showroom wall, and everything one is different.
very nice video. 99.9 percent of videos out there are all about showing off their inventory and their shooting stands if you know what I mean. This is really educational. How much would all this set me back? not counting the expensive optic. Please let me know.
Legal Question: if you were in a state like CA, would you be allowed to Purchase all these parts and then just not put them together? i.e. is the thing that makes it illegal in CA to put them together or is it the actual purchase of the part?
Perfect has different meanings to different people. For me, weight is ultra important, and drives much of the parts choice. Use is also important. Do you hunt, do tactical work, target shoot etc. Still, it is amazing that you can buy a bunch of parts and build a great gun.
I have the misfortune of living in a State that has banned the sales and distribution of AR-15 rifles and parts. The very State where Aero Precision is headquartered. About 25 miles from me. ☹️
New to guns, can someone explain to why this is a better option compared to buying the pro series from aero precision for $2K and then adding optics? Also might have skipped it but how much did this build cost total?
950 for the suppressor you are about the same cost as a pro series from aero precision. So when I'm asking, remove the optics and suppressor for comparison.
you’re pretty much paying a premium for aero sending you a fully assembled rifle. Building one from scratch gives you a lot more customization and putting higher quality parts where they need to be, like a trigger. For 2k you can assemble a way nicer AR than any kind of complete rifle on the market. if you dont want to take the time to build one and don’t have plans on swapping out any parts id say go for it, but building is super easy though and the most cost effective. Personally there are better companies to purchase complete rifles from like daniel defense, BCM, LWRC, etc than aero. You can get a PSA freedom lower and upper for ~$400 you just need a BCG & charging handle. Aero has been notorious for insane price gouging these past few years (almost by 50% on all their products) They’re sneakily trying to rename themselves as a luxury brand like geissele and I personally think it’s just in bad faith. Only thing I would buy from aero is their lowers on a discount.
I’ll never understand the preference of eotech’s over aimpoints. It’s purely subjective, I know, but that busy reticle for less than 50 yards just drives me crazy.
For a normal dude, I just don’t see why you wouldn’t get a 509T or EPS for half the price. So far it seems as Holosun has a better reliability track record than the Steiner MPS or Acro P2.
Serious question here. I’m new to building AR’s and people have told me that I MUST get an Aero LPK just because of the rear set screw included. And every video I watch about the M4E1 the word ‘proprietary’ is used about the set screw. I believe Aero simply threaded the rear hole. The 4-40 set screw (or any other size) has always been around. They are like 30 cents. I bought like 12 of them.
I built one a couple years ago, but honestly can't remember what I did. I may have just left/taken the set screw out. (To me, a huge benefit of an AR is that it's non-proprietary.) I know that I did not use an Aero LPK. If the set screw doesn't come with the lower, then any similar shaped 4-40 screw will certainly work if you want to use this feature. Or just leave it out and remember to be careful if you ever need to take the back plate off. The "oops" kits with spare springs and detents are cheap and worth keeping around if something get lost.
The rear takedown is just a 4-40 set screw. The bolt catch set screw is a proprietary part. But I believe a mil spec roll pin would probably work in a pinch.
Aero uses better upper parts than Daniel. Not sure why you wouldn't just build your upper. It's 2024, there's no reason why you wouldn't want an adjustable gas system. This is not a perfect build.
Unless I missed it or something, in the U.S. a 14.5 inch barrel is an sbr unless the muzzle device is pinned and welded to make the barrel 16 inches. If you made this video in the US, I hope that lower was SBRd or you p/w the muzzle device to make the barrel 16 inches. Just lookin out bud.

again regardless of your little added text its an overall statement local laws do not overrule federal laws. just like made in Texas suppressors are "legal" in Texas and sbrs are "legal" in Tennessee the fed boys don't give a crap. You know as well as I doo there are too many morons on the internet that will do this full build get popped for it then say something like "well i just did what the guy on youtube did" then you get dragged into some bs lawsuit and have to waste your hard earned money on that. you never specified the fact that overall length has to be 16inchs to put a stock on it, you never specified when you need a brace over a stock, and checking local laws only helps the sbr part of it which most of these degenerates online don't know what makes something classified as an SBR....But sure im the idiot that pointed out something flawed yeah screw me I guess.
