I imagine that since there’s quite a large gap between the appliances, it will collect a lot of dirt and dust in between the appliances over time and it also takes away about an inch of additional clearance at the top.
You could probably fit one of those dusters for blinds in there and give it a swipe every few weeks. Or, I've found one of my favorite new cleaning tools- canned air!
Would have been useful to see the dryer going on. My legs on the dryer are as low as they go and I can say there is still wiggle room. The screws are a cheap way of harnessing this thing down. Not pleased that this thing makes my house sound like a jet engine.
Honestly I would've purchased a LG washtower instead of stackable washer and dryer. Avoid stackable washer/dryer if you can. They are a pain to service and repair.
The wash tower has a small load capacity and if one goes bad, the whole unit needs servicing. Other than that, it is quite convenient as it’s a smaller footprint and easier to control (no step-stool needed)
What did you use to lift the dryer onto the washer in such a tight space? Thinking about doing the same to mine, but idk if I can muscle it on my own lol
My husband helped, but he doesn’t want to be in my videos 😂 I would say you definitely need a second set of hands- and attaching the vent behind was tough but we got it with some effort.
Another awesome video Emily. Very informative and useful.
Thank you for watching!
Great video, any plans for an update? How has it been, how is the noise?
You can hear it, but much better than having it in the basement!

I had the previous model of these in another home for many years and wash very happy with them

How did you set up the vent? Is there a good video on that yet?
Can we reverse it and put wash on top and dryer on the bottom?
Stack them first then use a hand truck to wheel both near the spot, hook up hoses, power and vent, then slide into the spot
