Thanks so much for your video.. I purchased the Samsung washer and dryer.. It came with that kit couldn't figure out the set up.. Just purchased a different kit from Amazon seems easier to just screw bracelets onto the washer and dryer at the rear.... I see that I was to put the crossed piece on last... Thanks 👍
Need Help i just bought a LG front washer cause our Kenmore that was 8 years old blew out the bearings any idea if i can mount it with my old Kenmore dryer which is the stackable kind ? What should i do get a universal or a LG. mounting kit Thanks in advance. any help would be appreciated
You showed to put the front bar wrong. Upside down... backwards. Hard to see in manual. But yes you can see how it goes. Or lg has a video showing it correctly. Is it more secure doing it properly. I think so. Maybe only by a bit though
Our machine works great! One problemo though. There are two gray plastic brackets on the back, on the top left and right corners. One can be seen at 0:34. In our house, one of those bumps into a water pipe and prevents us from pushing washer all the way back, which prevents us from closing the laundry closet door. Is it okay to remove these brackets?
@@michelinecraw2888 was there a particular part you wanted to see? The only thing missing was showing us lift the dryer onto the newly installed brackets and fastening the screws on the remaining cross bar piece. Your right though, for a more complete tutorial I'd have shown every step... something I've learned along the way and I believe I've got better at doing with my most recent videos. By the way, thanks for the feedback. It'll help me get better at these making these videos (which has been a lot of fun)
Mine didn't have the stickers and the screws weren't the right size for the front bar. I got it done but that made it a much more frustrating process than it should have been. I actually called LG customer service and they were completely useless.
@@samanthas2180 Yes, Ma'am, and I searched online for 20 minutes and could not find a site directly associating the 796.80021900 27" dryer with the KSTK1 kit, but they did say that stacking kit was for made to fit 27" machines. Hope it works for you.
How has experience been with this LG washer? I just bought both the 5.2 washer and 9.2 gas dryer of the 8100hva model. I was torn between this LG set and the higher end Maytag.
Close your eyes and imagine an overweight white dude in his 40s lift it up with his not overweight white wife in her upper 30s. Boom! The reality is dryers are pretty dang light these days, it was pretty easy to maneuver especially vs a front load washer that has concrete or whatever ungodly heavy material in the base to keep it from walking away when spinning.
When I stacked them I did have to route the venting differently, check out my channel and you can find the video where I go into detail on what was involved. You shouldn't put a flex vent that goes down to the floor where the original vent was. It's not ideal.
Good, quick video! Didn’t forget to show how dryer is stacked and secured. Which was very helpful.
2nd to last shot saved me, thanks! Couldn't figure out the orientation of the front bracket!

Not positive but I think they're interchangeable

When stacked how do you control the dryer uptop
Reach. My wife is 5'2 and has no problem reaching the top controls
@@DIYAroundTheHome thought they sit high. Can't wait to get em ..
This feels incomplete.
It was, he skipped some steps... important ones...
Did you ever get it done?
Yes, you can see the final result at 1:25 in the video. I probably should have shown that at the end of the video too.
@@DIYAroundTheHome would have been nice to see you actually do the full installation.

No surprise
Does the last bar go after the dryer is stacked?
Yes, exactly. Stack the dryer then put the last piece on.
Think this is the LG KSTK1 kit which also fits the Kenmore made by LG
K1 kit is for 27" machines. K2 is for 29" machines
Do you know if this will fit kenmore 796.80021900
@@samanthas2180 Yes, I believe the KSTK1 kit will fit that Kenmore dryer because it is 27" wide. The Sears rep should confirm so before you buy it.
@@fredcdobbs823 they have been less than helpful. Sent me the wrong kit twice 🤦🏻♀️

Can I stack a 27" Dryer on top of LG Washer (wm3470HVA)?
Is it a LG dryer?
If so that would significantly increase your likelihood that it would be possible
Yes it's a LG 27' same size as the washer but manufactured in different years. The dryer I'm looking at is DLE5977SM
It should work and if it doesn't I would think it you should be able to return it for a refund

After your LG is about 2 years old , you will Have the answer to that question
. And you will wish you had bought a whirlpool product.
About 3 years in on my set and we're very pleased
thank you for the video
My guy. Thank you so much.
Thanks for not showing us the final finished product.
Thanks
So these instructions are for full size LG 27" wide washer and dryer set, correct?
Yes. That is correct
Bruh...we wanted to see the two people actually stack it....smh...LMAO

DIYAroundTheHome which video? I am not finding it.
Here you go:

DIYAroundTheHome Wait, why can’t you do that?
Do what?
Is it a gas dryer?
It is, that shouldn't matter though. The kit will work for either gas or electric
Thanks man!
Damn u don't havr matching appliances?
Thanks. There's no "T" in the word across.
Hahaahahahaa
I thought the same thing!
Hello. After installing the kit, what is the Height of this unit?
78 inches tall
Thank! Nice video
Part number?
KSTK1, you can also get it here: amzn.to/2WGCZ6z By the way this is for the 27" version (most common)
What if you're too short to reach the controls?
You could have a small step stool nearby that you slide over when it's time to run a load in the dryer.
My wife is 5' 2" and can reach unassisted.
Your video is incomplete. Waste of time 👎
SORRY DIDNOT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING, INSTRUCTION AND VOICE!!!!!
You did not finished all the way to end sir 👎
