    That’s my car Jimmy repaired and it’s going great. The Red Honda has done 135624 miles. Not a whiff of smoke only when DPF was cleaning. Worth every penny getting the DPF cleaned. Thanks Jimmy.

    I can tell you the Honda system won’t give you any faults regarding the A/C not working, on the newer 1.6 diesel you might get a code for PM quantity excess that’s about it, then you need to look at pm value and pressure like you said, nice job though, worst things all the DPF BS on vehicles now 👍

      Euro 6 diesel engines are junk.

    Another great video, if only all mechanics were as educated as you mate.
    Keep up the good work and look forward to the next one.
    Thanks Neil

    Had a massive headache with one of these CR-V, exactly same scenario no fault codes, but persistent check system accompanied with limp mode and DPF blocking. Turned out to be a dodgy thermostat on that one, driving along observing live data coolant temp dropped below 76C (i think) - fitted a replacement thermostat with opening temp of 83C or 86C and it finally solved it after months of hassle including new DPF and a trip to Honda dealer who couldn't find any faults, and did a software update to no avail.
    Hope this helps someone

    Hi Jimmy my multijet diesel swift DPF got totally blocked from 1 day to another one. We had to cut the dpf to get the engine run again. Idle DPF pressure was 600mbar! 1 day earlier it was normal below 10mbar! Never heard such a quick catastrophic dpf death. ODO 190T

    Thanks Jimmy your the dogs ballics on these DPFs I left the motor trade industry some years ago pre DPFs and was not really interested in diesel engines them days diesel engine cars where not to popular or complicated but much more reliable the most complicated part for me was the pre direct injection pumps I've been studying your content because I had quiet a few people asking me and telling me about problems with these DPFs 😮

    That's interesting about euro 6 sensors Jimmy. Maybe a devoted video to these things and how (if possible) to distinguish tlfaults caused by the newer sensors?

    Toyota will, l get high oil level but draining the oil will make the light go out but it will have a coad stored in the ecu so it won't regen so the high oil level coad in the ecu will need deliteing else it will carry on diluteing the oil and not do it's own regen, also would be a good idea if this is happening to clean the dpf. Top job Jimmy 👍

    You would think the dealer would be feeding back to the manufacturer and then the manufacturer would do a software update to show the fault.

    • @sliderdriver1
      @sliderdriver1 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Maybe they don't want to? We used to get update bulletins on diagnosing faults but they wouldn't address the code issues or release software updates. This was a cheeky way to avoid giving everyone else the ability to get emmisions based codes through obd2.

    My same honda has had no AC for over year and still it does a passive regen, I had the regen light come on too and went off after a run. I also have had this light too but never had the warning to go on a motorway run. Really bizarre

    I’ve noticed that tail pipes can be a bit sooty on euro 4& 5 vehicles whereas euro 6 the tail pipes are clean.

    Another crap Euro 6 diesel engine. People who don't understand cars keep buying these crap engines, and that's what manufacturers rely on.
