You are such a kind soul. My regular shearer was busy, so I contacted a company in Ohio. The guy was so rude to me and my sheep. He blasted crude music, smoked inside the barn, and jerked my sheep around. He kept saying how unhealthy my Hampshire cross sheep were, I was on the verge of tears because I treat my sheep like they are my childen. He quit after 7 1/4 sheep. Yep, he walked out with one sheep only 1/4 of the way finished. There were still 30 to go. As it turns out, he found another job that day with Merino wool sheep. I called my vet in tears asking if she thought my sheep were unhealthy. She said that I have the healthiest sheep in the county and she knows how loved they are.

Can you report that kind of stuff. That's like having your yard guy, roofer, farrier quit half way through to do a yard, roof, horses, he thinks are better, WTH! Something ethically wrong with that. Breach of contract to me.

Wow as someone who lives in FL I am almost sweating with you watching you in that heat! That must be brutal, I can imagine all the wool bits sticking to your sweat too but this guy must be feeling so much relief after you are done! So much weight off as well as so much cooler! Thank you for doing this for them.

Oh no,what a difficult situation! I was prepared to be angry with the owners, but after hearing the circumstances that led to the matting,I feel much more sympathetic, and I applaud you for your understanding and all the effort you had to put in to give the poor sheep the relief they needed so desperately.

The mark of a professional is doing the ugly and thankless with the same focus and grace as doing the simple and straightforward.
You honored every person who holds themselves to a personal standard for the output they deliver.
Every kid I know needs to see this tape so they can understand that sometimes the only thing you can do is go through it and the only thanks will be the voice in your head assuring you that you delivered your best...
    Bravo...
