"Wav" audio (44.1, 16) is 10 mb /stereo minute... so depends a lot of the actual sampling stats. At "wav" thats a little more than 6 min... but that's stereo also, mono it's already 12+... Neat and very much designed and marketed to get public opinion back off the hate train, its certainly what I would have done. juxtaposed with everything they’ve done, turning turned off folks back on in an instant, timed and priced in end of November to take full advantage of their outsourced manufacturing and get everyone talking.

I mean i like it, but i also like the opz and never got it, we should ask for more quality build and materials from te... remember you can get a sp404 for the same price so.... a lot of factors in the play not only the beautifull desing and hipster look

You’re silly! The sp404mk2 is so intuitive, this machine can’t sample long samples as you’ll use the memory up so it’s not a mk2 killer
I was almost going to pre-order this through their amazon listing. I paused this vid to take a break and do a short workout and 30 minutes later now it’s not available. They saved me $300 at least.
Neat and very much designed and marketed to get public opinion back off the hate train, its certainly what I would have done. juxtaposed with everything they’ve done, turning turned off folks back on in an instant, timed and priced in end of November to take full advantage of their outsourced manufacturing and get everyone talking.
I wonder if it can sample while playing. I doubt it. I wonder, if TE was inspired by the old mpc workflow, lots of similarities.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, i dont know which one I want more but I know one of thems going on my christmas list lmao
Kind of similar to the MPC500.
looks like a winner and classic...
I wonder if it will properly sync to an external clock.. The 404mk2 stumbles around like a teenager after his first four loko. It doesn't seem to affect event but it's been driving people nuts for at least the last year
I’m not even gonna rush to get one lol but i know these joints gonna sale out fast
When I first saw this was from T.E. I assumed this would cost atleast $1000
… and the game changed over night !
Teenage Engineering is the retro gaming company Anaologue just for musicians
Ordered it as soon as i saw it this morning. Ive been using the pocket operators as well as the OP-Z for quite some time. Weird but happy they are $299 & hope it can replace my 404
I have two coming from Perfect Circuit. I also own the AKAI MPC X. So for me, having enough space for sampling is not an issue.
These are dope!
Jade come on.... all the te "economic" line of products have tons of quality build issues, starting with the opz (the banana effect, retriggers, etc..) and ending with all the po (a lot of them stop working after a year) i know its not the same with the more premium line but lets be honest. I mean i like it, but i also like the opz and never got it, we should ask for more quality build and materials from te... remember you can get a sp404 for the same price so.... a lot of factors in the play not only the beautifull desing and hipster look
I made the mistake of only counting 12 pads too lol
It’s only $299? Wild. I figured it would be like 10x that.
Instant cop. Watched a couple videos, read the manual. No brainer
Color me shocked. I saw the announcement of the product, thought it was beautiful, but didn’t look any further because I expected it was going to be astronomically priced.
I have both !!! Its not the sp 404 mk2 killer !!! Period hahahah
Nice. Now where's the Street Fighter version
K.O may land some body blows . . .but it’s no sp 404 killer. The effects, being able to control the Koala sampler on iOS. The O.P is a TOY compared to the SP. i own both
It's probably an introductory price. It'll go up to $500, once a bunch of popular TH-cam influencers have videos about them. 🤣
I haven't seen trimming like this since the roland ms1, sort of akin to byte offset, but i don't know if i would enjoy it as much as the simplicity of the po-33. which i guess is still going so eh.
This is NOT colour screen. There is only 3 digits, old style screen (similar to this one from old Deluge),
JAJAJAJAJAA....Cada aparato tiene sus ventajas y desventajas con tantas caracteristicas y funciones que hay y existen...Bien animo gentes y vayamos todos con alegrias y felicidades...
This thing is going to sell. I can't wait to see what they come out with next.
Pre-ordered mine through Perfect Circuit and hopefully we get it on time and it's not backordered like woah
I'm super hyped for the 133
Yeah about that JWeezy....got mine yesterday and the fader port is broken already... everything else is top notch, but I still choose my SP 404MK2 over it
Just ordered it ! :D
I like the mix of Dieter Rams and Lego. Very cool object 👌
Thanks Jade for this video :) Actually, for me it's clearly a sp 404 killer; I will buy it asap. The hardware is what I was wanting for the sp 404, the build in mic and the compact shape are essential to have fun with those devices. I'm wondering if the keys feeling are similars to Polyend's tracker caption keys ^^ Can't wait.
So I guess….the headphones go in the output???😅😅😅
Epic and amazing deisgn. Great video
No loop mode and no resampling.TE when asked about this said probably not. Avoid.
unlimited sample length vs 64mb. Looks pretty but SP404 killer...nah. Horses for courses, apples and pears.
I don’t get why the crave for a 404 killer 😂.
Your always trying to kill the 404 lol
0:54 not speaker it's mic
It is a speaker too
teenage gonna conquer the world
Those pressure sensitive pads for the fx. 😮 👍
Already ordered. Looks fun to create on the couch tracks with
The pads are pressure sensitive
Its only 64mb sample memory 😅
SP1200 style.
@@BillyBatsonMarvel exactly😅👍
Wow, something made 40 years ago? @@BillyBatsonMarvel
Had the 404 and TE. I want this
I gotta be honest. This looks pretty exciting, and I dont even like T.E. that much. I do own some POs tho.
I am a big fan of buying used, so I will probably get this if I can find one there! Great vid as usual!!!
Also the exterior design reminds me of a storm trooper helmet...😂
I am or was this close to buying an MPC one plus, I may get this instead. It looks fun, sounds good… A cheaper 404 maybe.
I ordered this so fast
Jade what´s happening? The screen is a not an OLED screen like on op1, you can easily see that is it a super cheap basic screen like on old watches. If it´s offordable it´s for sure super cheap to build for TE.
Its badass looking i really want one £300 is really fair that seems to be the set price for budget samplers theres lots in that price range and some are pretty good like the novation circuit rhythm so theres lots of options out there but this looks one of the nicest
Nice one! Looking forward to seeing some videos of you jamming out! Ordered mine too :D
JW you're awesome! Thanks for the upload. 👍
it's almost like POs and this new series are made in a different department
hope so! now want an EP-8 mixer :)
