So moody, so chillll, so comforting. Just when I think you can't top your last video, you do it again!! The beats are sick, but the cinematography, the colors?? dangggg. Keep 'em coming!!
Yooo! Thanks so much for the kind words. Really wanted to add a little extra spice with the cinematic intro and I am so stoked you dig it :)
This!
@RoadandSkyUK 🩵
It’s so crazy watching people play the calculator!

@@TheThewulasvegas the ol TI-83
lmao!!
Nina Simone and Space Battleship Yamato mixes, and covers of Twin Peaks and Agnes Obel? Dude! Get out of my head! And I mean, as long as you're in there, I want that sweater. But seriously, love your mixes. Keep 'em coming!
Man, you just made my day. Thanks for the kind comment and for taking the time to check out my music. Much appreciated
Teenage engineering need you on their staff mate!
THIS! Preaching to the choir, homie 🩵
One of the best examples of the use of the KO II to date. Bravo!
Thanks a lot, Rob! 🙌🏻
I got my KO II yesterday. This is by far the most inspiring video I've seen with it. Amazing work!
Thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed it :)
Hope you dig the KO II. Such a fun lil’ box.
@@vvlvmusic TE should pay you because I got a SP-404 but this is so inspiring that makes me want a KO II too. xD
Heh, that’s pretty awesome. I should forward these comments to TE ;)

Such a solide awesome build 🎉
Thanks a lot! 🇯🇲
Best example of vintage hp hop Ive seen on the koii!
Thanks! I just need that old school vibe 🩵
This is a beautiful combination of decadence and modernity, you took care of every detail, musical and visual
Thanks for the kind and carefully chosen words. It’s a lot of joy when someone picks up on the details. 🩵
I thought the KO I got was an old Japanese board game at first, but then I realized how thin they are... I got a second one. Haven't even opened one. The other, I'm going to try and make a gift one day.
Classic mixup between GO and KO, happens to the best of us. Either way a fantastic gift 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
super satisfying videos man, commenting so more people see it
Hey man, thanks for the comment and your time ✌🏼
This is so dope! It's both restrained and heavy at the same time. So good!
Restrained and heavy… oh yeah, I like that. Thank you ☺️
Very nice. Nujabes is up there listening in to this. Nice work.
Man, thanks for the kind comment. Have to admit that I wasn't aware who Nujabes was, but I looked into it because of your comment and love what I've heard.
@@vvlvmusic He was awesome. Check out all his stuff. The Man was incredible. Spiritual state is my fave.
I thought my GAS for the KO II had passed but this has completely sucked me back in. Love it!
😅 thanks, friend. My advice would be to give in to the GAS but what do I know 🫥
I know I did. Took in maybe 3 of these videos and I ordered one on the spot. I've got the Roland S-1, how important would you say the TX-6 is for these sounds?
The TX-6 is not important for the sound, as long as you have a decent way to record your jams. I use it because I enjoy being able to just stick a usb drive in and record anywhere without much hassle. But it’s definitely not a must have imho!
Tu est doué mon ami, merci beaucoup, j ai beaucoup apprecié
De rien et merci! Glad you enjoy it :)
Perfect sound. Tasty performance till the end waited dirty scratches)
Oh man, scratches would have been 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 thanks for checking out out :)
I watched 100's of EP 133 videos, haven't scene anyone play as well as you. Well done!
That’s high praise, thank you :) glad you enjoyed it!
Man this is dope as hell! Awesome beat, video and great performance!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🩵 thanks for the kind words! Stoked to hear you dig it.
This is so tight, yet so funky, brilliant mix too, damnn
🩵 thanks! Super happy with the mix, it’s live recorded and just a bit of compression over it. 🙌🏻
SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!!!
🫡 thank you SO much!
Awesome
Thanks!
Beautiful! Music and setup! 🫶
Thank you, my friend 🩵
This is so dope Homie. Love the various ways you flipped Nina. Props. Peace.🔊🤌🏼
Hey man, thanks for taking the time to listen and leave some kind words. Much appreciated 🩵
Crazzzzzyyy. Nicely done. This goes hard.
🫡 thanks man! Go hard or go home, right?
what a wonderful gift 🎁 you have given the world!
😅 a gift to the world is what I’d call it, too, the humblest description for this track one could think of.
Tasteful. Choice. Yummy. Cheers for sharing!
Thanks for checking it out! Much appreciated ✌🏻
I've been listening to Dark Side of the Moon for over 50 years now, it's the well spring of my love of music. Give a band called Junip ago, my favourite is the KEXP performance of "Without You." It's a long slow build, wait for the Moog and the sax going thru a pedal.
This is so good...
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Perfect sample choices here, love this. 🎉
Thank you so much 🥲
Finally a good video about KOII. Please make more
Gonna cook some more beats with the KO for sure.
Awesome. Would easily fit into a film soundtrack. Moody, atmospheric and definitely cinematic as hell. Nice 👍
🩵 cinematic, I like that. Thanks for the kind words, really stoked to hear that kind of feedback.
@@vvlvmusic you’re welcome 👍😊
genius remix mate !
🙏🏻 thank you, homie!
Wow great combination 🤩🚀🚀🚀
Thank youuu! 🤩☺️
You rock bro. I’ve been digging through all your old videos and soaking up what I can. Always checking for that analogue pocket/ nanoloop--> po ko 2 sync. I know it’s going to be huge.
I’ve been doing it by ear and it sounds amazing but it’s not easy to get back into sync once I hit stop for the session. ❤❤
Hey man. Thanks for taking the time to listen to my old stuff. And letting me know. Much appreciated.
I am actually jamming with the Pocket and KOII this very moment and it looks like it’s going to be a very House inspired jam. Already got a nice start but need to see where it’ll end up.
🩵
Cool jam. I really loved your suggestion of pausing everything and just playing a chord.
Thanks! That was sort of a happy accident while practicing the jam and then I liked it so much that I made it part of the routine. 🩵
@@vvlvmusic Really loving this track. If you don't mind me asking: what's the legality of what you're doing? I'm asking because I don't know what's legal or not, if I were to sample records. Thanks!
@buxycat of course I don’t mind. But I can’t give you a definitive answer. I see my sampling and usage as something transformative and not like a cover or other reproduction of the original song. Transformative content is something of a grey area (as far as I know) but so far that’s how I look at it. So far I haven’t had any issues.
@@vvlvmusic I remember Nick Mason (Pink Floyd's drummer) saying that he didn't mind when he heard someone sampling a note or two, but he looked disgusted and said "but some people steal sections wholesale."
Transformative, that's what I'll keep in mind. Thanks!
@buxycat Nick Mason is amazing :) I am a HUGE Pink Floyd fan but I wasn’t aware of his comment on the issue. Thanks 🩵
Very nicely shot, and sounds great!
🩵 thanks!
Visually and sonically stunning 😍
🩵 glad you enjoyed it.
This needs to be a TE commerical
I wholeheartedly agree 😅 thanks, man
I need more 😮💨😮💨
There will be more 😌🙂↕️
This is what makes this an epic device, dude! How can this not be an official demo video😮
Freaking epic jam
That’s such a f‘ing nice comment. Thanks a lot, man. Much appreciated. Gonna forward it to TE ;)
great production style visually and sonically 🙌🏼
🩵 thank you for checking it out.
Outstanding. Well done!
🩵 thanks!
The G of the KOII ! Smooth.
🙌🏻 thanks, homie! 🩵

Thanks a lot, glad it could inspire you 🙌🏻
Sick beat
🩵 thx homie
Nice flippin… Smooth vibes
Thanks, homie! I should have added some AudioWanderer style scratches!
A making of would be soooo nice!!!
Like what would be interesting to see in a making of? The setup? I'd love to do more thorough videos and show the process in detail.
@@vvlvmusic yeah the setup. The midi parts when using other gear with the K.O.
How you sample ? Some info about your record player and how to connect.
Just a making offf
@thatmidlifevlogger4463 thanks man! 🩵
Can‘t get enough of this 😮 Min. 2:00 🤫🤩
Experts recommend putting the video on repeat 😏☺️

Making me want one again
Maybe give it a second chance
@@vvlvmusic i think i might after your awesome showcase
@synthsamuraiproductions curious to hear if you dig it more the second time around. I’ve had this happen to me several times: got something - didn’t hit as expected - sold it - kept thinking about it and got it again. Sometimes that worked out heh
@@vvlvmusic I canceled my order before I even got to play with it because of all the issues it was having I got spooked and canceled it so I haven’t even tried it yet but your video last night made me think. Maybe I should give this another shot because it was so great.
O ma goodness 🔥
I take it you’re enjoying the track 😅 thanks!
Wow! That was brilliant!! Amazing job!! 🙌🏼
Thank you Becky 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
the best!
Aw thanks homie 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Inspiring and beautiful aesthetics. Thank you.
Thank you! Means a lot to me to get such lovely feedback.
very nice!
Thanks!!🩵
I love this hobby😭
🩵 it’s the best!
Damn this is amazing bro, great lighting, great color, dope beat very well done
🩵 thanks for the kind comment, homie! Glad you dig the mood.
GAWD DAYUM! Crazy Good! 💙💙
DAYUM! 🩵 appreciate that level of enthusiasm!!
Amazing work there!
And the video work is just as beautiful as the music.
🩵 thanks a lot, Brad. Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice vinyl collection. Smart sample and cool mix.
Thanks so much :) makes me want to get back on the search for a good sample in my collection ;)
This is KILLER!!! Have you released this? Please say yes!!! Also, this is a new genre to me - is there any other cinematicy jazzy hip-hop artists you could recommend? So so lover this - great work!
First of all: thanks for the kind feedback, that means a lot to me. The track is on my BandCamp page. It’s not released on streaming platforms but I am working on a full EP with the EP-133 and it might see a broader release. ✌🏻
really nice session mate 🤘
Hey man, thanks for listening 🤘🏻
i really wanted to like the KO.ii ust couldnt do it. its great form factor and portable.
this video, DAMMMNNN!!! so good
First of all, thanks for the comment! Much appreciated. What kept you from liking the KO II? The workflow?
@@vvlvmusic yeah, i feel i have a broken way of working. i come from a guitar background then got into electronic music, then electronic production. elektron gear seems to gel with me the most and that in itself can be a problem moving out of the elektron world.
i bought a KO first to see how that was and it was "fun", but didnt seem to have the same fun with the KOii for whatever reason.
the digitakt and octatrack are now my devices and have been for a few years now
ps. the production quality of this video was top notch, so nice
@@KenithCopeland I hear you. Companies have their unique quirks and workflows and it's about finding out what you enjoy the most. I do miss my Octatrack, it's such a unique and weird box that is fantastic to explore.
Rumor has it there's a new Digitakt coming, curious what that could be...
And thanks for the praise, I put a little extra time into the look and opening this time and it's so nice when it grabs someone's attention :)
@@vvlvmusic haha yeah the digitakt mk2 rumours have been going crazy on some of the Fb groups. hopefully they dont push the price up too much, the digi is already around $1600 new down here in sydney. definitely worth it though.
cant wait to se what you put out next mate
Wow, such a lovely tune and nicely done video, too 🪷
Thanks for the kind comment!
Fantastisch - wie immer!!!
1000 Dank!
WOW. SO CALM. AWESOME. GREAT VIDEO. USA FLORIDA
Glad you enjoyed the chill mood ✌️
Saw one in Cologne few months ago. One of the TE gear I can relate to in terms of functionality as price 🤠
Enjoy!
This one definitely has a reasonable price in TE world 😅
Damn fine!
☕️ thanks :)
Fire!
Yo, thanks! 🔥
Jazz lends itself so well for the modern VVLV style. No wonder you're so popular!
Hello fellow kid! I am popular.

Well spotted! APWOT deserves all the love :)
Nice jam!
Thank you :)
Dude, you’re really good at making Beats!!
Heh, thanks! Trying to keep the beats fun and it’s awesome when peeps enjoy it ✌🏼
That teenage engineering crap is so cool
They know how to make stuff fun to use. Mostly…
The video production not matches the sick beat but is pure art. The color, the cuts, and the visual vibe is dirty bro. This shit hits on many dimensions.
Sample is dope. Lol im just bumping right now.
Man, that comment cheered me up.
Really stoked you enjoyed it that much, thanks for letting me know 🩵
Just really wanted it to be cozy and something to maybe enjoy while blazing your 🥦
I didnt even know what this was but it looked sickkkk
Didnt disapoint
😅 that’s awesome. Glad you enjoyed it!
Love this vibe! What is that beautiful turntable?
Thanks for checking it out. The turntable is the GP-N3R from ANABAS.
So awesome!
Thanks, homie 🩵

Mich appreciated, thanks for checking it out!
Absolutely amazing and the visual aesthetics look fantastic mate. May I ask you about the name of the record player you are using here? Thank you very much,

Back to the future.....serious.....don't mean that Atlanta guy!
Can u please upload a full arranged instrumental?
Greets
Greets, man. The jam as is can be found on my BandCamp page. I am working on a full EP with the KO II and a full arranged instrumental might pop up on that one. No promises tho ;)
