I'd say that a Push really adds usability to Live, as well as just providing tactile control. Plus of course you can always upgrade the new Push to standalone whenever you want.

Just my opinion. I'm not saying that move is great tho, I agree that 8 tracks would be the sweet spot
Hey JAde do you have latency as well when you use your Sp 404 mk2 as a effect processor for your modular?
only when using it to record into a daw is it ever noticeable
“Only four tracks in controller mode” sounds like something that could be fixed in an update patch.
That said, I fear most of the development and update patches will be focused on it being a groovebox. Controller functionality will take a back seat..
I am glad that you feel inspired to write songs and if the Move distracts from that, you definitely should get rid of it as soon as possible! For me the Move fits right in, at the moment I feel much more inspired to make very simple music on grooveboxes than making stuff with a lot of tracks. It is true that the phone app is almost the same, but the sequencer is great and having real buttons is also very nice.
Looks like it suffers from model:samples syndrome, where it feels more like a demo version of an instrument rather than an actual instrument
Someone apparently didn't get the memo. Not sure why you even got this device (besides the obvious GAS that's deliberately poisoning your audience, because we all love them views, don't we). If you just want to finish tracks, then this is NOT the Ableton device you want. It's a track starter, not a track finisher. How this got lost on you baffles me tbh. And of course it would always be a limited Ableton Live controller, especially compared to Push 3. Talking about unrealistic expectations, jeez.
seriously, P6 is where its at.
P-6 has max. 48 samples with max. 2.9 sec. sample length. They arent't playing in the same league.
@@minimal3734 p6 has upto 23.9 seconds per pad. i have two of them. thats over 1000 seconds sample time and sample rate changes.. the p6 will be getting used this time next year while you are convinced the move 2 is where its at because the move 1 didnt cut it. smh
note is great but i wish it had a sequencer so bad. playing things in isn’t always ideal
I wonder why they're holding out on this 🤔
Note has a sequencer in the public beta version.

You're so beautiful it's difficult to focus ( at least for me ) but when i can, what your saying is interesting.
Lolz! I thought the same thing…
you should definitely check out the p6 sampler it’s a battery charged little sp. its fun for making samples but it has a little Roland screen so it’s mostly button menu diving. Love the videos was really curious about the new ableton move if it would be worth it for some people❤
The p6 is worse than the move I returned that
