Essence and Hard candy are gems that gets over looked. Fantastic products and super affordable.
I adore that Age Perfect Serum foundation. It was a bit of a learning curve for me due to the consistency. I always get compliments on my skin when I wear it. If you use NYX Glass Skin primer under it you really glow.
That serum foundation is my new favorite. While it can look a bit splotchy when first applied, (I find using my fingers is best) and I do need a tiny bit of powder to set, it wears SO good. It doesn’t ever settle into my creases and even the creases of my nose look flawless. And that never happens.
Great video. I would love Emily to do a video on the best "sweat proof" foundations for those of us who feel we have to continue wearing full make-up in the summer.

I think my L’Oréal foundations work better than some of my high end foundations and my Profusion highlight and contour palette works better than most of my high end highlighters and contour powders! Some of Milani, Flower beauty and No 7 products also feel more high end than drugstore 😊 Hope you have a fantastic weekend with your family! 💜

You nailed this video, Emily! I'm a pro MUA and I keep a few shades of both the loreal foundation and the nyx concealer in my kit for clients who are on the normal/dry side and want glowy, natural, medium coverage. They really do feel so luxe!

I definitely get the concept here. I immediately thought of my No. 7 lose powder and the foundation I used to own from them. I also 100% agree with the maybelline lifter gloss. I have mine in Topaz. Very luxurious feeling in the packaging and product.
Does anyone else think of Emily as the Belle of YT? Like I picture birds tweeting around her. She's a classic beauty and so sweet!
ELF coconut setting mist is my absolute FAVORITE!! I never get rid of a bottle from that product once it's gone, it usually holds whatever other things I spray on my face (skin care products, other setting sprays, primer waters, anything) because the spray from that bottle is sooooo good and even. The Colourpop lippies are also really nice, my favorite shade is called "Museum Date" and it is the perfect brown nude that's a little darker but not too much. Also, absolutely LOVE the Pearl shade of the Lifter Gloss. It was the one I purchased and tried first, and it is still my favorite. This video idea was fun!! Thanks Em!

For the lightest shade in the elf palette, as a VERY pale person I find it works very well for lightening any of the other shades, especially if i went too hard!

I LOVE the Maybelline lifter glosses. They feel so luxurious. I've been on the fence about the Milani most loved mattes just because I have so many other palettes with those shades but dang... I've heard nothing but phenomenal things about it and every time I hear someone else recommend it I think about getting it. Lol

That Maybelline Tattoo Studio brow stuff is legit. I wear it all day through workouts and sweating at the barn riding horses. Wiping my sweat with a sweat towel all day and I still have brows at the end of the day

I am going to pick up all the your base products recommendations for my make up look, for my daughter's upcoming wedding. Your final look was just beautiful.... and I totally agree with you about the Milani eyeshadow palette! It is one of my favorites & I have a ton of palettes to choose from. I also think the Colourpop Taupe palette has the same quality but with a cool tone look to it.

My Walmart recently got rid of their found beauty section. I've tried several things from them and only enjoyed the blushes. I own rose glow and it's STUNNING.

Yes I love the Maybelline 4 in 1 perfector and concealer as my base. Most really dewy products emphasize all my lines and pores but that just doesn't. It's like it has a slight blur along with the glow. I just wish they had a better shade range. The lightest shade is too dark for me really. But I make it work. Hoping you have a lovely day Em!! I did a look this weekend with a very minimal eye and an Ofra liquid lipstick in the shade Santorini which is a bright magenta with a shift and I LOVED the look!

It looked beautiful and really reminded me of my nudestix, only in a flat compact and that Found blush does look just like my Laura Geller blush in Dreamsicle. I wish I could have gotten that mascara but my Aldi sold out of it. I was able to get the primer. That Elf palette does look creamy. I’m going to try that. I had the ABH cream palette but it was so stiff!! Very hard to use.

No need to worry if we were following you…this idea is totally stellar! I love seeing these inexpensive products that can make you feel like you’re applying more high end, luxury products. I think if you did a side by side application with both price ranges, I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. I think the base products look ab-so-lutely gorgeous!!!! Your skin looks glowing & fresh!! And the Must Love Mattes palette…chef’s 😘!! There isn’t one product that I wouldn’t consider purchasing; especially due to your recommendations. I got the Undone sunset bronzer 4 in 1 radiance palette and I love it but be aware there's no bronzer shade in it it's only a blush , blush topper and 2 shades highlighters ! Although it really gives me high end vibes on the face and body

I seriously love the Maybelline Lifter glosses! I have so many and just discovered that they have new metallic ones so got the gold last week and it is incredible! There is just something different and glam feeling about topping your lip color with a bit of gold shimmer that smells like cake! I haven’t seen any TH-camrs try the metallic ones yet but hoping someone does and shares how magical it is!
