I remember Wet n Wild when I was in high school in the late 1980s in the form of glitter nail polish at my small-town drug store. Many years later, I remember seeing the eyeshadow quads that had written in them where they went (crease, lid, etc). I miss those.
i could live the entire rest of my life never seeing another orange/pink/peach palette - i am so THRILLED that you used this gorgeous palette with these lush rich shades!! sooo beautiful and satisfying! one thing to maybe help: when i get mascara on my lids, instead of a cotton swab, i use a clean spoolie to whisk it away - you don't disturb or take off any of your eyeshadow that way! loving the fall vibes immensely!
Of all the highlighters I own, high end or not, the one I reach for the most is Precious Petals from Wet and Wild. I love it like you love your bronzer. I’ve been using it for so long and have not yet hit pan. Also, I am really glad there isn’t any SPF in the tinted moisturizer as it gives me cystic acne. At 51, it really isn’t prettier than it was when I was a teen, so finally a lightweight product I can safely use.
I thought the same exact thing when I saw no spf!!! I just realized in the last year or so that chemical sunscreens cause rashes and horrible cystic pimps. The new camo cc, CG and olay foundation, even my fav flower beauty light illusion have spf and now I’m afraid to use them 😫
@@amandadelatorre3790 oh my gosh I never heard of spf causing cystic acne. I’m 30 and have had horrible acne my whole adulthood but can NEVER find any real cause or trigger
i prefer using a safer spf underneath, esp those moisturizing korean ones or the paulas choice ones then using something else on top cause spf in makeup is not even enough to protect!

@@ThumpersMama18 girllll I had never thought about it until I heard someone mention it. Over the last few years I’ve changed my diet, read every label, started tretinoin, etc but I still had these rashy bumps around my mouth/nose and cysts all over my chin. I switched to Korean/physical spf and stopped using makeup with chemical sunscreens and I noticed a diff within weeks!
Hey Emily! I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for straight up comparing the products to other ones we know well from the drugstore. Comparing the concealer to Elf Camo, comparing the brow pencil to the Elf Instant Lift, I feel like you gave several direct comparisons and I am here for it! That makes it so much easier to know what we're dealing with. It's good, but is it as good as....the eyeshadow from Colourpop? The Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder? Loreal Lash Paradise? Pick a benchmark product that everyone knows that is similar and tell us...do you like it better than ________? Yes, please. I've been thinking of trying the Incognito concealer, but I already have ELF Camo, so it's nice to know that wouldn't be the best place to put my makeup budget's pennies! Thank you for the video!!!

I about screamed when I saw that you'd be talking about the Wet n Wild Megalast High Shine lipsticks! They are fabulous!! And so affordable. Comfortable to wear. My favorite lipsticks all summer. So many pretty colors, too. Clothes Off is fantastic. Bellini Overflow, Peach Please and Mad for Mauve are all gorgeous as well. I want every color they make. Awesome video, Emily! 🌺

My fave WnW lip liner is the Brandywine pencil. It goes with everything, and it stays longer than the gels.

I love wet n wild! You should try mixing the matte and the dewy foundation = perfection! 💕
I use that concealer to conceal acne and redness on my face and then I take a small fluffy brush and blend it out and the set the whole face with a powder foundation and my gosh it’s a beautiful look. It looks like I have nothing on my skin and feels like it too but it’s the perfect amount of coverage.
What powder foundation do you use? I'm trying to find a good one.

Love the wet n wild mascara when I'm not wearing eyeliner. I have long lashes and it gives me great definition and my lashes look extra long and fluffy.

If you are trying to make the best use of triangular and teardrop retractable brow pencils, you can "sharpen" the end.
Rub it against paper and shape it to a usable point. It's not wasteful if it helps you to use up an unusable pencil.
That is such a good idea, never would have thought @ it that way 🙏
@@sandrashott6377 It's just as easy as rubbing the tip on a plain piece of paper.. It actually wastes much less than those retractable sharpeners do.
I love that incognito concealer and what i found works well is if you let it sit for a bit then blend. I usually place the concealer and not blending it yet then go do one brow while the concealer sits then go blend i find it gives more coverage as opposed to blending right away.
I also use brush to blend it.
Over the last 2 years I went from a having a large makeup collection and wearing it everyday to not really wearing it at all. I went through some stressful things, and of course covid, and I just didn't have the energy for it. I'm slowly starting to wear it again and better yet, enjoying it. I have a few things that are still ok but I wanted to get some new eye shadow. The first thing I grabbed was Walking on Eggshells. I've had all 3 versions. Years ago I got my first one on your recommendation. I can't even remember how long it's been!
I used that primer on my sister in law for her bridal makeup and all the bridesmaids. It was amazing and everything lasted all night.

The photo focus matte is one of my fave foundations! I am so gonna get some of the eyeshadow palettes. I love the burgundy in the nude awakening so I will be picking that one up along with lights off. I love the 2 different color stories. I also loved the lip combo. I’ll be adding that to my list as well.❤️

Lights off used to be a quad. I picked it up on clearance recently when they were getting rid of the old format and omg I love it for a smokey classy look, and the grey in is my favourite to blend out black

44 and combo skin. I can’t use either ELF Camo, but I just fell in love with the WNW one! I also tried the Tinted Hydrator and love it too. I bought that bronzer and a brush for my son’s teachers as part of their end of school gifts😂

I have loved the brow pencil all this year and have re bought. It is the one product I would use daily, even wearing a mask at work. I am excited about the eye pallet you used, I love green. And every shadow that has that iridescent shimmer has to be applied with a finger, no matter what brand, I have found. This look is Stunning! Thanks for reaching beyond burgandy. I really enjoy these one brand videos... especially affordable makeup. What I enjoy in your videos is you talk about affordable makeup the same way you approach high end products. I'm really enjoying the Incognito concealer, as I usually use the Elf Hydrating concealer. I actually like it better on my mature skin, as the Elf concealer can look too heavy on my crepey skin!❤️

Great video Emily 👍🏼. When I first got into makeup thanks to you many years ago Wet n Wild was one of the first brands I started buying makeup from per your recommendation! The items were great and very affordable. I still have some of the items in the old style packaging . After watching your video I definitely have to go purchase some new items. Want to pick up some of the new eyeshadows, powder, brow pencil, setting pray and bronzer. The look you came up with is beautiful. Really enjoy when you do one brand tutorials.
Wet n wild Coconut water drop primer was my favorite! The smell was so refreshing and it felt wonderfully hydrating on my face. I wish I could find it near me now, I hope they don’t discontinue it.

Wow! That lip color is gorgeous on you. I am warmer complexion so I ordered a more coral toned of that lippie line from Target. Can’t wait to start beautifying a bit for spring as I paused it during Covid. I will get that bronzer esp for neck since I use a crème bronzer for dry skin that I don’t want to apply to neck/décolleté. This was one of my favorite videos! I like how Emily describes products, she’s so cute.

Love the WnW Rosé primer and setting spray, also I have about 4 or 5 their blending brush with the pink tip. And very nice highlighters. And a glitter glue would really help that green shadow pop. I use it with all my lid shades. Tfs.

Great look - I have a couple of the "multi shape" eyeshadow sets from W&W...will break them out again...How did Biddy do her first day - had to chuckle when your voice went tight about knowing what can happen at a 1st day of preschool drop off !!! My daughter is 29 (I am 65) and yes, I remember !!!! HUGS
Their new green color correcting and luminating primer is pretty good. It’s a little too much glow for the summer but I’m going to love it in the winter when my skin gets super dry. It has really hydrating ingredients too
I like this one for the red splotches I have on the lower parts of my face and neck!!
Oh I have the yellow one. The glass skin primer, I agree with what you said about summer. I haven’t been reaching for it much but I bet we’ll get good use of those this winter!
@@kerriekrafts I had heard about the yellow one first by someone here on TH-cam and they mentioned the green one and I felt that was the right one for me to get. So I bought that and their new tinted moisturizer and that’s really good too!
@@bmackenzie2740 same here! I love the tinted hydrator too. I think the yellow was the only one they had when I went to get it so I thought I’d try it. It’s pretty on the skin for sure!
@@kerriekrafts Yes it’s so good!! Did you try their concealer too? I need to buy another one in a darker shade. The one I’ve got is way too light so I can’t really tell if I like it or not, but I love how these inexpensive brands are coming out with some really good products!!
I am getting back out my WnW palettes so love seeing the looks you are creating. I don’t see many tutorials on the yellow gold one though and I have that one also. I have the break up eyeliner pencil and it lasts forever also. I love it. I remember when you used the WnW pink chubby stick in your waterline. I’ve never tried the mascara but I had wanted it when it ca,e out. I might still need to try it. Lash Princess isn’t my favorite though
