Of all the highlighters I own, high end or not, the one I reach for the most is Precious Petals from Wet and Wild. I love it like you love your bronzer. I’ve been using it for so long and have not yet hit pan. Also, I am really glad there isn’t any SPF in the tinted moisturizer as it gives me cystic acne. At 51, it really isn’t prettier than it was when I was a teen, so finally a lightweight product I can safely use.
I thought the same exact thing when I saw no spf!!! I just realized in the last year or so that chemical sunscreens cause rashes and horrible cystic pimps. The new camo cc, CG and olay foundation, even my fav flower beauty light illusion have spf and now I’m afraid to use them 😫

i prefer using a safer spf underneath, esp those moisturizing korean ones or the paulas choice ones then using something else on top cause spf in makeup is not even enough to protect!

Over the last few years I’ve changed my diet, read every label, started tretinoin, etc but I still had these rashy bumps around my mouth/nose and cysts all over my chin. I switched to Korean/physical spf and stopped using makeup with chemical sunscreens and I noticed a diff within weeks!
i could live the entire rest of my life never seeing another orange/pink/peach palette - i am so THRILLED that you used this gorgeous palette with these lush rich shades!! sooo beautiful and satisfying! one thing to maybe help: when i get mascara on my lids, instead of a cotton swab, i use a clean spoolie to whisk it away - you don't disturb or take off any of your eyeshadow that way! loving the fall vibes immensely!

Pick a benchmark product that everyone knows that is similar and tell us...do you like it better than ________? Yes, please. I use that concealer to conceal acne and redness on my face and then I take a small fluffy brush and blend it out and the set the whole face with a powder foundation and my gosh it’s a beautiful look. It looks like I have nothing on my skin and feels like it too but it’s the perfect amount of coverage.

Their new green color correcting and luminating primer is pretty good. It’s a little too much glow for the summer but I’m going to love it in the winter when my skin gets super dry. It has really hydrating ingredients too
Oh I have the yellow one. The glass skin primer, I agree with what you said about summer. I haven’t been reaching for it much but I bet we’ll get good use of those this winter!

Over the last 2 years I went from a having a large makeup collection and wearing it everyday to not really wearing it at all. I went through some stressful things, and of course covid, and I just didn't have the energy for it. I'm slowly starting to wear it again and better yet, enjoying it. I have a few things that are still ok but I wanted to get some new eye shadow. The first thing I grabbed was Walking on Eggshells. I've had all 3 versions. Years ago I got my first one on your recommendation. I can't even remember how long it's been!
If you are trying to make the best use of triangular and teardrop retractable brow pencils, you can "sharpen" the end. Rub it against paper and shape it to a usable point. It's not wasteful if it helps you to use up an unusable pencil.

I love that incognito concealer and what i found works well is if you let it sit for a bit then blend. I usually place the concealer and not blending it yet then go do one brow while the concealer sits then go blend i find it gives more coverage as opposed to blending right away.
I about screamed when I saw that you'd be talking about the Wet n Wild Megalast High Shine lipsticks! They are fabulous!! And so affordable. Comfortable to wear. My favorite lipsticks all summer. So many pretty colors, too. Clothes Off is fantastic. Bellini Overflow, Peach Please and Mad for Mauve are all gorgeous as well. I want every color they make. Awesome video, Emily! 🌺

I'm really enjoying the Incognito concealer, as I usually use the Elf Hydrating concealer. I actually like it better on my mature skin, as the Elf concealer can look too heavy on my crepey skin!❤️
Lights off used to be a quad. I picked it up on clearance recently when they were getting rid of the old format and omg I love it for a smokey classy look, and the grey in is my favourite to blend out black

44 and combo skin. I can’t use either ELF Camo, but I just fell in love with the WNW one! I also tried the Tinted Hydrator and love it too. I bought that bronzer and a brush for my son’s teachers as part of their end of school gifts😂
I still have my Essence of Beauty crease brush duo from the beginning days of TH-cam. Marlena (makeup geek) was the first one I watched and she used them all the time! I have loved the brow pencil all this year and have re bought. It is the one product I would use daily, even wearing a mask at work. I am excited about the eye pallet you used, I love green. And every shadow that has that iridescent shimmer has to be applied with a finger, no matter what brand, I have found. This look is Stunning! Thanks for reaching beyond burgandy. Wet n wild Coconut water drop primer was my favorite! The smell was so refreshing and it felt wonderfully hydrating on my face. I wish I could find it near me now, I hope they don’t discontinue it.
The photo focus matte is one of my fave foundations! I am so gonna get some of the eyeshadow palettes. I love the burgundy in the nude awakening so I will be picking that one up along with lights off. I love the 2 different color stories. I also loved the lip combo. The teardrop shape is wonderful to use because you can get detail OR a quick fill-in. I discovered this when I bought a Benefit GoofProof pencil by accident.
I have the mellow wine blush. It is sooo pigmented! I am lighter skinned than you, so I go light- handed. Still very beautiful, and blends well. It will last forever! I love the tinted moisturizer. I appreciate that it has no scent.

Those flaky shades are meant to be toppers over the other shadows to add dimension. Both drug store and high end palettes have been including them for the past few years.
Love this one brand full face if drugstore products. Wet n wild does make some good products. The primer didn’t work for me either. I purchased it bc my sister raved about it. I do love their blushes. Wet n wild also has a new line at target. I went online and purchased all 4 of the palettes. I really like them. Two have a press glitter which I wish didn’t. I also purchased a blush and bronzer from the line. Both are really nice.
Wet 'n Wild has a micro pencil in Ash Brown and it's really good too. I have better luck with the micro pencils than those with triangle shapes. Apparently this product is very popular because it can be hard to find, at least in my area. When I see it I usually buy 2 at a time.
I love the WnW setting powder ! I am wearing it today in fact (and I am a setting/finishing powder junkie). They do give you a ton of powder too like you said. It’s a really nice product.
I am getting back out my WnW palettes so love seeing the looks you are creating. I don’t see many tutorials on the yellow gold one though and I have that one also. I have the break up eyeliner pencil and it lasts forever also. I love it. I remember when you used the WnW pink chubby stick in your waterline. I’ve never tried the mascara but I had wanted it when it ca,e out. I might still need to try it. Lash Princess isn’t my favorite though

Wow! That lip color is gorgeous on you. I am warmer complexion so I ordered a more coral toned of that lippie line from Target. Can’t wait to start beautifying a bit for spring as I paused it during Covid. I will get that bronzer esp for neck since I use a crème bronzer for dry skin that I don’t want to apply to neck/décolleté. This was one of my favorite videos! I like how Emily describes products, she’s so cute.
Lately I’ve rediscovered the value of a sponge tip applicator. It works just as well as a finger for those finicky shadows, but provides more control and precision.

The items were great and very affordable. I still have some of the items in the old style packaging . After watching your video I definitely have to go purchase some new items. My fave WnW lip liner is the Brandywine pencil. It goes with everything, and it stays longer than the gels.

I have to comment right away, I love that primer! It really does make my makeup last longer- I have oily skin, so maybe that make the difference.
Tati loves it, too. She uses it as a pore filling primer and has great results.

So many pretty colors, too. Clothes Off is fantastic. Bellini Overflow, Peach Please and Mad for Mauve are all gorgeous as well. I want every color they make. Awesome video, Emily! 🌺

I really enjoy these one brand videos... especially affordable makeup. What I enjoy in your videos is you talk about affordable makeup the same way you approach high end products. I'm really enjoying the Incognito concealer, as I usually use the Elf Hydrating concealer. I actually like it better on my mature skin, as the Elf concealer can look too heavy on my crepey skin!❤️
Lights off used to be a quad. I picked it up on clearance recently when they were getting rid of the old format and omg I love it for a smokey classy look, and the grey in is my favourite to blend out black

44 and combo skin. I can’t use either ELF Camo, but I just fell in love with the WNW one! I also tried the Tinted Hydrator and love it too. I bought that bronzer and a brush for my son’s teachers as part of their end of school gifts😂
I used that primer on my sister in law for her bridal makeup and all the bridesmaids. It was amazing and everything lasted all night.
I still have my Essence of Beauty crease brush duo from the beginning days of TH-cam. Marlena (makeup geek) was the first one I watched and she used them all the time! It’s so frustrating that elf camo doesn’t work for me, it breaks down after an hour and creases. It’s so interesting how unique our skin can be.

I have loved the brow pencil all this year and have re bought. It is the one product I would use daily, even wearing a mask at work. I am excited about the eye pallet you used, I love green. And every shadow that has that iridescent shimmer has to be applied with a finger, no matter what brand, I have found. This look is Stunning! Thanks for reaching beyond burgandy. Wet n wild Coconut water drop primer was my favorite! The smell was so refreshing and it felt wonderfully hydrating on my face. I wish I could find it near me now, I hope they don’t discontinue it.

The photo focus matte is one of my fave foundations! I am so gonna get some of the eyeshadow palettes. I love the burgundy in the nude awakening so I will be picking that one up along with lights off. I love the 2 different color stories. I also loved the lip combo. The teardrop shape is wonderful to use because you can get detail OR a quick fill-in. I discovered this when I bought a Benefit GoofProof pencil by accident.

Those flaky shades are meant to be toppers over the other shadows to add dimension. Both drug store and high end palettes have been including them for the past few years.
Love this one brand full face if drugstore products. Wet n wild does make some good products. The primer didn’t work for me either. I purchased it bc my sister raved about it. I do love their blushes. Wet n wild also has a new line at target. I went online and purchased all 4 of the palettes. I really like them. Two have a press glitter which I wish didn’t. I also purchased a blush and bronzer from the line. Both are really nice.

Is the primer good for oily acneprone skin?
Wet 'n Wild has a micro pencil in Ash Brown and it's really good too. I have better luck with the micro pencils than those with triangle shapes. Apparently this product is very popular because it can be hard to find, at least in my area. When I see it I usually buy 2 at a time.
I love the WnW setting powder ! I am wearing it today in fact (and I am a setting/finishing powder junkie). They do give you a ton of powder too like you said. It’s a really nice product.

I am getting back out my WnW palettes so love seeing the looks you are creating. I don’t see many tutorials on the yellow gold one though and I have that one also. I have the break up eyeliner pencil and it lasts forever also. I love it. I remember when you used the WnW pink chubby stick in your waterline. I’ve never tried the mascara but I had wanted it when it ca,e out. I might still need to try it. Lash Princess isn’t my favorite though
I must be more of a medium coverage concealer girl, the incognito 🥸 concealer works GREAT for me! No creasing or caking, i absolutely love it.

Wow! That lip color is gorgeous on you. I am warmer complexion so I ordered a more coral toned of that lippie line from Target. Can’t wait to start beautifying a bit for spring as I paused it during Covid. I will get that bronzer esp for neck since I use a crème bronzer for dry skin that I don’t want to apply to neck/décolleté. This was one of my favorite videos! Lately I’ve rediscovered the value of a sponge tip applicator. It works just as well as a finger for those finicky shadows, but provides more control and precision.

Great video Emily 👍🏼. When I first got into makeup thanks to you many years ago Wet n Wild was one of the first brands I started buying makeup from per your recommendation! The items were great and very affordable. I still have some of the items in the old style packaging . After watching your video I definitely have to go purchase some new items. Want to pick up some of the new eyeshadows, powder, brow pencil, setting pray and bronzer. The look you came up with is beautiful. Really enjoy when you do one brand tutorials.
