I’m so glad you continue to mention Kentucky when you talk about tornado’s, the December 2021 tornado was devastating to W. KY (I was not thankfully not impacted by this storm) but know many who were. I just appreciate you being so down-to-earth and great full for a rainy day.

I LOVE this! Just told hubby we're doing date night tonight. ;) And I'm sorry this sounds weird, but I have discovered that if I prop my phone in the corner of the shower and play your videos, it is the most relaxing "me time" I have ever experienced. Good Morning Emily, the way you were talking about the weather made me laugh. Where I live we have hurricanes super frequently and they almost always hype them so much and schools close and everything but then it will just be windy and the sun will be out 🙃

I think we are super lucky because we live pretty far inland. It is very stressful but I much rather have nothing happen than something.

Former lunch lady here and the bosco sticks are a favorite. We would spray them with butter spray and sprinkle some garlic powder on top. They would always well out.
That Patrick Ta palette is gorgeous! Emily, I would really like to see a look done with just 2 or 3 shadows; I have hooded eyes, and have been drawn to the simplicity of a two shadow look every since you did a video on it years ago.

I love rosy tones too. I am always drawn to those colors. I am making a DG trip today and between Emily and Taylor Wynn loving that Dollface blush I’m hoping they have it in store today to pick it up. I can’t spend money on this particular palette but I can create a similar look with Profusion mauves. It’s a beautiful look. Just watching Em use it makes me happy though.
That’s what I was thinking, too! Profusion Mauves is such a deal, and the textures are so nice! I think you could totally recreate this rosy look. Maybe I will do the same this week!

Random thought for Emily, she is so famous that she is probably recognized while doing shopping in person or just around town by her followers. Love how she can speak and do make up simultaneously!
She's probably used to it, she used to be a news anchor in her area!!! Even did the morning show for the local news station. She mentioned that's how she had built her social media platform up so easily in the beginning

@@almatoledo1608 Yes, I believe her background in news most definitely does effect her ability to talk to the camera and make it look so naturally!! When you think about it, I believe her background has helped her tremendously with TH-cam and in so many ways; lighting esp how to do makeup so it's not washed out in the lighting, what makeup emphasizes her natural features, what angles look most flattering on screen, how to speak to the camera so it seems natural, where to look, how to pronounciate words properly, as well as how to talk in a way that gives us all the info we need like how news anchors know the audience needs to know a few certain things by the end of the story like specifically the who, what, where, when, why and how, she answers these very questions in her videos about makeup as well

With every shade you applied, I thought, “Yes, Yes, Yes; utter perfection!” I hope this palette sticks around for a birthday or gift-giving event, because I WILL buy this for myself! I didn’t get anything exciting from Sephora but it finally shipped. Order comes in on 4/19. It’s only the Huda brow pencil. I happen to love that micro pencil. I have very thin brows and it’s perfect for me. This is my 2nd one. Also the Smashbox contour palette. I bought a few things from the Sephora collection while at the store the other day. I love that one gel like lipstick they have. I have a few now.

I’m glad you guys didn’t have tornados and that you’re all safe. We had such terrible wind in Southern mid-Michigan that it blew several shingles off our roof and completely moved our deck box which is full of stuff that would equal around 50+ lbs!! Crazy weather…

There's something about eye shadow... As a kid, when my mom did her eye shadow I always sat in front on her to watch the process. Mesmerizing! 😍 She passed, so now I watch your videos mainly because of eye shadow application. She only wore eye lashes when she was going out. I remember Duo lash adhesive, it's the same one I got but they evolved. The newer tubes with the wand are formaldehyde and latex free, quick drying, long wearing and water resistant. I love that it's available everywhere and affordable. How do you compare this palette with Sigma's Cor de Rosa, Emily?

Have always loved the lighter rosy tones on my eyes. With my green eyes I think it looks nice. Looks great on other eye colors too! With Emily’s brown eyes, looks beautiful, as usual!

I love that Strivectin primer, it takes 10 years off my face immediately! I’m 64. I only wear it when I don’t wear makeup because it doesn’t play well with the foundation/tinted moisturizers that I own. It causes so much pilling! I have the same problem with my Strivectin eye cream, I don’t have a concealer it works with. So, I only wear it at night. You did such a beautiful look with that palette!

I love this palette so much! I resisted buying the original palette for quite a while but when I saw this one I knew I had to have it so I ended up buying both from the Patrick Ta site. No regrets here...they are both fabulous but this one is my absolute favorite. Your eye look came out great, by the way!

Oh jeeze, I'm also drooling over that palette now! One of my oldest and favorite palettes is the lorac unzipped original which has all of those rosy tones in a nice gradient, but it doesn't have as much variation as this!

Love your overall look. The believe beauty blush is lovely. With each addition of a shadow, your eye look just came together and was blending so easily. Love that soft peach that you blended on the very top. You really showed how to use the formula for the shadows. Beautiful!

Hey Emily! As I was watching your palette video today I noticed you mentioned this PT palette. I had to find this video. I have this palette and love the color story. The shimmers however have such fallout that it drives me crazy. I use Milani eyeshadow primer, I’ve wet my brush for application but I haven’t tried it under the cream. You’ve inspired me to pull my palette out and give it another go. I want to be able to use the shimmers, so thank you. I hope you do another look with it soon.
