I was a follower of yours for years and fell away due to health issues beginning in early 2020. Stopped wearing make up and didn’t purchase any until recently. I learned to love my body for being able to bounce back and appreciate my natural beauty without make up. As you said, so many parents try to "relive their glory days" through their kids and it often ends in resentment. I love how you expressed that childhood is for freedom! It's great that they're into cheerleading now, but it's also good to know they always have the option to explore other things. That's good parenting!

I appreciate the fact that Emily said it’s OK to just play with their toys and not be in anything. I personally feel like some parents completely fill their child’s schedule with “activities.” I just don’t feel like all that is necessary. Children are also happy to play with their toys, use their imaginations, and play outside with friends, if given the opportunity.

I’m a firm believer in allowing a child to try all sorts of activities so they can find their own passion. My son, who is now 22, played every sport and landed on soccer. That was his passion and it literally brought him to Europe, and opportunities at a University. Did he play other sports in high school? Absolutely, but he lived and breathed soccer. I’m so glad I fostered his curiosity and wish more parents would do the same. Love your content 💗

Oh, cheerleading is So much fun. I was a High school Varsity cheerleader. It was an absolute blast. The dancing, tumbling, mounts, the jumps, and of course chants and cheers. Great memories!

I have watched your videos for about 7 yrs...always love them...but the addition of the Kitties just melts my heart!❤
My youngest son has Asperger’s and his pediatrician and therapist insisted he play sports and he would cry in the dug out he was miserable it was more of a hinderance than a help to “socialize “ him. I finally figured out he wanted to play football and he was so tiny they let him play center and would not let him run the ball so he didn’t get tackled. And my baby boy bloomed. He’s 19 now and he is doing fabulous he still isn’t social in big crowds but he is who is and he’s perfect! Kudos ‘Em for figuring out to offer options. I was on the struggle bus in his early years for many reasons and I regret some on my decisions I made for “his good” which was sheer torture for him

Such a wonderful video! I loved the mix of great products. I was very fortunate, to be able to work, as a Teacher's Assistant for almost 10 years. Your kittens make me miss mine so much. Brings back a lot of good memories of when I first rescued them and they were also very young. (Estimated about 4wks old.) Always loved their curiosity and how they had to investigate everything. Lol. They had a good long life but I miss having them around. Miss their cuddly nature. They were like my little dogs. 😊

My daughter danced from ages 3 to 18, on competition teams from age 10 on, was on the hs cheer team, and taught dance through college. My son was also a multi sport athlete from elementary school on. You will NEVER convince me that there is another sport besides dance or cheer that does a better job of teaching discipline, teamwork, dedication, responsibility, stamina, and countless other things. Other sports teach those things to an extent, but you can always put in a sub. A dancer gets sick and can’t dance, it totally throws the whole thing off…so they are there for their team come hell or high water! As an adult, my daughter appreciates everything dance has taught her! So happy your girls are enjoying it Emily!! 💕💕💕

My girls, now mid 30’s, refused to even consider dance class. I loved taking dance when I was young but they would rather have had a root canal - they decided on softball - they loved it made great friends and were both good at it. I immersed myself in it helping the league and later travel teams from hauling equipment to scorekeeping to being manager - never played a day in my life but we had a blast for years

My 4 daughters do all star cheer and they have learned so many things being involved with a team and all having different roles. Such a fun experience for all of us. I was super shy as a kid and never did anything extracurricular and I am so glad my girls have put themselves out there!

that foundation is by far the best one i’ve found for the price and convenience. it’s so good for combo skin and if you prep your skin well (regardless of if you want oil control or moisture) it is just so so so good! their eyeliners do not MOVE! their eyeshadow primer is amazing. their eyeshadow palettes are the best in the drug store price range. i tell everyone about the brand because it’s so worth the money!

I was fortunate to teach kindergarten for two years before I stayed home with my kids. And let me tell you, there was never a dull moment and the days flew by. There were challenges but I just cherished those kids so much! I have many vivid memories from those years and it was 25 years ago. I would love to see those sweet kids as adults now and tell them stories about themselves. 💜

I wonder if you could do a video on best lip formulas in the drugstore? I always think Revlon is underrated... I never had a bad lip product and they release as well some more innovative lines here and there. They were the first to adopt some of the kbeauty formulas years ago and they actually got the formulas right. They also have a great spectrum of shades and undertones

Been using Super Lustrous lipsticks since I was a teen (3rd generation Fire and Ice fan here), I don't give a damn if they aren't vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, paraben-free or whatever the latest thing millenials and below are hating nowadays. They work well and they are not leaving my beauty kit.

I love the Believe Beauty Skin Finish foundation! I have "mature" skin now in my mid 50's and my skin is easily dried out by many foundations. I mix in a little moisturizer with a full pump of this foundation and it looks fantastic all day!

Hi Em.. I'm having a really sad Saturday. I lost one of my precious kitties, Bella to kidney failure this morning and my heart is just broken (she was only 5 yrs old and was diagnosed 1 yr ago) But I love you and your videos so much and am so thankful for the distraction today. And it makes me soooo happy to get to see your sweet lil babies walking around and playing while you're doing make up. While Bella's been sick she liked to sit on the bathroom sink while I would be getting ready and she'd grab my hand and pull it over to pet her. Lol she was so sweet. I just love seeing your interaction with your kitties and know how much you love them ❤️ 🐈🐈⬛

Good morning, thank you for another wonderful video. My favorite part is when you say "The tint is just dope." I don't hear that lingo much anymore and it's a joy that brings me right back to high school. Also I bought the red one and love it. Guess I'll need to try other colors after seeing this one.
