Your hair looks so pretty! I’m still watching,,,,I struggle with it taking so long to lose weight. It’s like watching water boil... patience is a virtue!

I never had an issue with “binge eating” until I got into my 50’s!! I can be so out of control. It’s only with sweets. I would never binge eat on a salad 🥗 I will start on a pack of donuts and the next thing I know I’ve at 3 packs. It just tastes so good.

Thanks for sharing!! It's interesting how our brain works with food. I just read a short article that TED put out about how the human body has "2 brains" (you know not really). The article is called "A scientist explores the mysteries of the gut-brain connection". -Ideas.TED.com Its about our brain and its connections with our endocrine system and having a strong connection with our gut . It was a short read but they concluded there is lots of research being done in this area but the scientist has a looong way to go. Interesting stuff. ~Hannah

I’m one that clicked on the bell!! I did the old weight watchers on my own many years ago (2010 maybe?). I lost weight, however, I was younger. I’m now 50, and I’m trying it again. Thank you for so many reminders…like, it’s ok to eat the ice cream! 😄

Congratulations on your success years ago and now- each day is a new day. My mom started the WW plan around 50 and she was nervous she wouldn't lose weight (at a good pace) because of her "slowed metabolism", but honestly, she lost right along with me. The program is great for anyone of any age....and joining again too! Good luck! Thanks for the bell! 💕 ~Hannah

I really enjoy your videos Hannah. I always watch until the end :)and I even takes some notes! This is my second time with WW. I lost 90 lbs in 2013, and I have gained it all back and it makes me ashamed. The start has been slow, I even abandoned the program for a few weeks, but I have lost 9 lbs since the end of March. Your videos are real talk, and that really helps me be mindful. Thank you so much for sharing your journey I appreciate it so much!

Hi Mahoney1, I'm glad the videos help you. You have accomplished so much by losing 90lbs! YOUR mindset and shift in lifestyle-made that happen. You've got this! You are already down 9lbs like you mentioned and are starting over again. It's slow and steady. One day at a time. Cheers! ~Hannah

I too struggle with binge eating. I’ll be doing great all week and usually all it takes is one poor choice to derail me. Then I’m off track for days gaining back all I’ve worked so hard to lose. It’s a very frustrating vicious cycle.
I’m glad I found your channel!

Just stumbled across your channel last week and I am one of those "bell" notification people😂I started WW in January 2020 and lost 62 pounds...I have slowly started to gain some back (10 pounds to be exact!) And I think maybe I got a little comfortable with measurements and choosing not to count things like creamer and condiments! Trying to go back to basics and see how that goes. I do track everyday and track my weekly weight even when I don't want to. I too love walking, clears the mind, it's easy to do and does get results!

Hi Amy! That’s a great accomplishment!
I think we have a similar habit of getting “comfortable” with our measurements. Cheers! ~Hannah

Years ago I went on WW cause I was fed up with the way I looked and I wanted to fit into some nice slimming jeans. I used to have a mental picture in my head of what I was going to look like from behind (lol) in those jeans and I used that "thought" all the time as I did the treadmill religiously for 3-4 days a week. I lost a little over 62 lbs. So this was another thing I did and I'm sure WW wouldn't agree with it but it worked for me. On weigh-in day I'd treat myself after the meeting. I did it every week and it helped me just knowing that I had a day off (so to speak) every week. I didn't splurge, I just ate a meal that would NOT have been on the program. I lost the weight and bought the jeans! That lasted about 2-3 yrs and then the weight slowly crept back on as I wasn't paying close enough attention to what I was putting in my mouth nor was I doing my exercising. So here I am, starting once again and frankly I'll be doing it the same way as before. It worked for me then so I hope it works for me again. Discipline is definitely the key to most everything we do in life. We just have to learn to be disciplined and when we screw up just get back on that horse (as they say) and keep riding! Good luck to all on your journey to success!

Yes I agree with self discipline. I’m glad you brought that up. Thank you for sharing your experience and struggles! 💕 So many of us are in the same boat. And good luck with your journey too!! ~Hannah

I have problems with moderation too and serving and portion size control has helped me with that. Instead of allowing myself as much of anything that I want ,,,I allow myself 1 serving size of what I want.

I would love to hear more of your examples for “one thing at a time. “ I enjoyed your video on your coffee adjustment ❤️

Hi Kristy! The coffee was such an adjustment. Glad you enjoyed that video.
I use to drink Pepsi (especially when we went camping) So I started buying the smaller sized Pepsi cans and only bringing 1 for each day that we camped (rather than a 6 pack). Just recently I changed out my turkey burger meat for tacos to chick peas. I add the seasoning the same and put just a bit of EVOO on. I have a date instead of candy (trying to stick to natural sugars. Dates are high in points for my plan though.) Those are a few examples. I probably could make a whole video about that topic! Thanks for your comment :) ~Hannah

I really appreciate your videos. Thank you for sharing . I can really relate "binge eating" issues. I don't know if I can have everything in moderation for now because I have had a compulsive, impulsive issue for years. It revolves around certain "trigger " foods.

Thanks for sharing!! I hear what you are saying about "trigger" foods. I'm with you on that. Most of the time I just have to tell myself "NO". It's hard! ~Hannah

Love your videos! Just started ww green plan again. Do you use all your weeklies?

    • @hannahlynne5522
      @hannahlynne5522  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

That’s great you have started again. I look at my weeklies like a savings account. So sometimes I do use them, but for the most part, I don’t.
A BIG part of that now is I don’t go out to eat. I use to save my weeklies for those special evenings and know I was good within the points (weeklies). Now that it is summer, I may use some weeklies for an occasional soft serve ice cream ☀️😍 Cheers! ~Hannah
