    I'm not a big ice cream fan but I love Halo Top, especially the strawberry cheesecake. You have to make cutting calories a bit fun!

      Hi Myriam! No worries I have been to Québec many times (Sherbrooke, Coaticook especially)! Poutine is my favorite dish ever!!!! (Talk about calories in a dish😅) Glad you found the videos! ~Hannah

      @@hannahlynne5522 🤣 poutine is not WW friendly 🙃 for rare occasion I make my version of it, with bake potatoes (in oven, no oil), steam brocoli, fresh cheese, brown gravy 🤤 … prefer my mexicain bol 😉

      @@myriamg5341 OH! I need to tell hubby about this with the baked potatoes & broccoli! It could be an occasional splurge after a day of skiing. (Finding the good cheese is hard where I live now. But we use to buy lots fresh from a farm right across the border when I was a kid).

      @@hannahlynne5522 my hubby and 2 kids only eat my version of a poutine! That work great for us. We have a vegan place in Montréal were they do it with tofu and oignons, less potatoes and more veggie, so good! If the gravy is tasty, it winner 😁

    Sarah Lee has a 45 calorie bread that is only 1 point per slice, and it's good. Also, there is a burger bun that is only 2 points by Keto Culture, they are sold at Walmart. Also, if you like lemon in your water, there is a product called True Lemon, it's a 0 point 0 sugar/artificial sweetener crystalized lemon that comes in packets. It's a life saver when you don't have access to real lemons, and they're portable. 🙂

    Hello Hannah....thank you for sharing. I love your videos. You have a gentle way of communicating and sometimes hearing the truth is easier to handle. I am on the green plan but my two daughters are on the blue plan. The key for me is tracking my food faithfully. Thanks again...

    • @hannahlynne5522

      Hi Danese! Thank you so much! I'm glad you are on the green plan and having family members helps for a support system for sure!
      I need to track my food well on the week days so I can take the weekends "off" from tracking. Or I just plan ahead and enter my food and hold myself accountable. ~Hannah

    I would love to hear more on how you incorporate chick peas & ect.... into your foods. I don’t have a gall bladder either and real fried foods are a problem for me too.

      Hi Vikki! Yes! I would love to start filming more meals in the kitchen. Real quick though, I have made Chili with no meat, just the chick peas and 2 other types of beans. It was a 8/10 as far as taste and 10/10 for ww points. (You already know about the taco salad 😍 ) We eat a lot of hummus with veggies (I never ate hummus until about 3 years ago) My husband also made a curry dish this winter. I love how I can search on the ww app or even online for chick pea dishes! (PS-Next weeks video, I will share more about my foods in the house. I will show dried chickpeas that I use for croutons.) Living without a gallbladder can be a drag for sure. But also keeps me in check with my diet😉. ~Hannah

    Dear Hannh, My husband has no gallbladder eather. But no proper diet was given. We were told to go on the internet. No advice given. Could you from time to time tell us what is good and what is not. He loves ice cream but as you would no there are problems. He just eats what he wants. Thank You so much.

    • @hannahlynne5522
      @hannahlynne5522  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Judith! I find it disappointing that your husband and I were not given a "proper diet plan". Maybe because of my background in Health Education I know what the function of the organ does, so it helped me. _I also listened to my body_ . Fatty foods. That's it right there. In short, our gall bladders job is for the bile to break up fats (you may already be well versed in this)... SO, staying away from fatty foods is so much easier to process. It's interesting though. Some people have certain foods they can tolerate. I have a co-worker that cannot eat popcorn! I can. I can't eat real bacon (BIG trigger!) or peanut butter (or much of it). I understand the love of ice cream. Maybe the gradual switch to frozen yogurt is a good start. There are some really good brands out there that make awesome (creamy) frozen yogurt ice cream. KEMPS is a brand that our family has on hand. (Moose Tracks is one of our yummy favorites!). A lot of the substitutions I mentioned in the video certainly was part of a driving force to change my eating. Best to you and your husband! ~Hannah
      PS: I will from time to time mention foods that I now eat because of not having a gall bladder.
