Sis ano meaning pag "British Embassy no longer need to have their affidavit administered at the Embassy and can now locally legalized and notarized in the Philippines". It went well! Tho, they had to pay 3000 pesos 😬. She said it only took 40 minutes from their appointment time because the queue was quite long.

I'm flying out on August 29, but there aren't any appointments available for the days I will be there yet. Only up to August 17th in Cebu, Manila, even earlier. Kind of worried, but I'll be checking everyday for appointments.
Nalilito ang fiance ko wala naman na pagpipilian na number for notarization sa legal capacity to contract marriage.. Tinawagan nya today pero non of the number to choose ang pagpipilian..😥

Just wanna ask if how long it will take to have a copy of that notarized affidavit of legal capacity to marry? If we book an appointment with that specific date for example aug. 10, so in that day of appointment they will give it to me or there will be a releasing date for that and how long?

Uo sis tama need na pumunta Ng USEM para kumuha Ng LCCM. Basta may available slot na appointment date online, pwede kasi unahan yan.

Pwede nman siguro pero much better typewritten. You may download Canva app sa phone then if mag open kayo Ng blank affidavit pdf na LCCM .. select nyo Canva at pwede dun kayo mag type mismo.

If before july 31 kayo magpapakasal pwede locally notarize at sa PSA website mismo madadownload ang form pero kung sa august pa. Si us embassy na mismo magpoprovide ng form katulad dati sabi ng kaibigan ko. Pero not sure if the same pa din ngayon. Wait nlng Po natin mag update sila sa website or yeah pwede din mag call para sure.

No need na Po pumunta sa us embassy if mag aapply kayo Ng marriage license on or before October 31 2023. Just copy the sample lccm form sa PSA website or check my last video, dyan yung instructions at form. Fill apan nyo at ipaprint then pagdumating yung fiance mo. Ipanotarize nyo nlng sa atty.
Paano napo nito? Kasi July 31 darating yung bf ko. Huhu 3 weeks lang siya. Sana e extend ng PSA. Bigay naman sila sana kahit 3 months from the day of revocation. 😢

If I get the Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage now, how long will it be good for?
For the local notarization legal capacity it's only valid til until July 31 but from the us embassy notarization , not yet sure with the validity since us embassy website still not updated as of the moment.

Right now no need na pumunta sa us embassy to obtain LCCM kasi PSA issued again a new memorandum last august 4, extension of allowing to accept the locally notarized legal capacity to contract marriage until October 31 2023. And btw if magpapanotarize sa USEM needs lng ni foreigner magdala Ng affidavit of legal capacity to contract marriage na form, proof of citizenship such as Us passport, birth certificate if born in us , naturalize certificate, crba if born abroad and evidence of previous marriage like divorce decree if divorced, annulment paper if annulled or death certificate of previous spouse. No need na kay Filipino fiance.

I called the US embassy on 7/23 and they were unaware of the change. They said they do not offer a Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage and have no plans to do so. My Filipina fiancé and I have a wedding planned for October and now we don't know what to do. 😭

Yeah I know it's frustrating the PSA and the embassy not coordinating for the new update. Hopefully US embassy will figured it out and will have an update. I suggest let's just wait until August.

Madam, may dagdag na tanong po ako hehe.. diba yung affidavit form is makukuha don po sa memorandum na 2023-15 ata yun.. so kailangan lang po namin na I download yun at Kami na ang mag print out or ang taga local registrar na ang mag bibigay samin nun ?
Kayo mag print at mag fill out sis. Then panotarize nyo Saka dalhin sa lcr to submit.

@@brandonjamesjimenez1543 yes you can (any attorney here in Philippines) however this locally notarized LCCM is valid only until October 31 2023 unless there is an extension for the said memorandum.

No need na po yan. Check nyo nlng if need pa iregister sa Bansa nila Yung marriage nyo.. Like in US or Canada automatic na recognize na ng bansa nila

For Canadian citizen sis. Follow nyo etong instructions sa Canadian embassy website. look for marriage abroad. Need nyo daw idownload yung mga forms sa adobe , fill upan, at isend sa courier.

Starting august 1 2023, di na tatanggapin ang local notarization na legal capacity. If gusto ng foreigner magpakasal dito sa Pinas, sa sariling embassy or consulate na Sila pupunta at kukuha ng legal capacity to contract marriage. Example us embassy, British embassy dito sa Pinas..
