Hi po sis, can you make a video with regards to step by step process of getting US spouse Visa petitioned by your petitioner. And all those documents that's needed to be prepared for the application. From day 1 upto being approved? and also a video of file evidences (like wedding photos, plane tickets, etc.) just to prove that your relationship is veritable. I know it's alot po. But as for me a newbie it will help bigtime po. Thanks po. ♥️

Do you have the email address for the US Embassy Philippines to verify the Legal Capacity, our LCR is not aware that they don’t process/notarize at the embassy for now and this is done locally per PSA Memorandum. Thanks in advance

@@rutholaescraver really appreciate your response. We were told that the affidavit locally notarization is not acceptable since this was already lifted and only allowed during pandemic (it’s not Pandemic in PI???) lol, but no where in the PSA website or US Embassy that this is true. Thanks again.

yeah I can relate that too. we were told the same and its added stress to the entire process. I don't know why they are not aware of it since its from PSA memorandum. it's insane. btw I just emailed the US embassy last night and I received the auto generic email telling "We do not notarize marriage affidavits. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will accept locally notarized marriage affidavit.If your Local Civil Registry Office requests confirmation of this policy, please provide them with a copy of this message. You can find the relevant PSA circular on our website, along with other important notary-related information". And also it stated there that if my question already answered I will not receive follow up response.

Hello!, Great information 😊 How much extra time do you think it could take if I get married by church with my fiancee in the Philippines?
Hi ! At least 2 months will be great but if you have an extra budget you may ask the church where you intend to marry if they offer rush church wedding ceremony. As per the church where we suppose to get married, after the marriage license is release, we may submit it with them and pay extra to expedite the wedding banns. Instead of 3 consecutive Sundays, they can make it just one Sunday and can schedule a church wedding ceremony ASAP. We just don't do it because my husband only had 3 weeks stay here. I'm not sure if other churches do that too. I suggest ask your fiance to inquire the church where you two intend to get married. If they do at least 5 weeks is fine.

Good day sis! Paano po ba malalaman if ok na ung paper tapos pwedi ng magpakasal? Ang lcr po ba ang magsasabi sa inyo?
Punta kayo ng local civil registrar ng munisipyo nyo, tanong kayo ng requirements nila para sa kasal. Pag nakompleto nyo na. Ipasa nyo sa kanila at magbayad ng mga fees. After 10 days balikan nyo or sabihan naman kayo nyan kung kelan balikan at marelease.

Yes you can as long all the papers are complete and you will apply for a marriage license within 2-3 days right after you arrive, my husband made it . He only had 21 days vacation.

Hi sis congrats in advance 🙂 you can order online at psaserbilis.com.ph website. Then select the relationship to the documents owner as others. Then the requester information (whoever the receiver). Pwede ka din mag walk in sa PSA mismo even with out your fiance pero need his authorization letter w/ signature and the photocopy of his ID. Good luck hope it helps sis. ☺️

Yes as of the moment sis. Applicable pa din sya kasi wala namang bagong update yung us embassy sa website nila. You may email them as well to confirm at ACSInfoManila@state.gov

Hello congratulations 👏, you can just download and copy the sample format of legal capacity to contract marriage at us embassy website or PSA and have it notarize to any lawyer here in the Philippines. Oh unfortunately I'm not in Cebu and I don't know someone from there. I'm Sorry. But tell her you don't need any of it. Just the legal capacity to contract marriage locally notarized by any public notary lawyer. Or asked her to inquire in her local civil registrar municipality what are the exact requirements to apply for a marriage license so that she can start to prepare it while waiting for you to come.
One more question, Do I have to copy the form for free or have to pay fee?
No, you can just copy, paste and edit it or you can make your own. All you have to pay is when you notarize it to a lawyer or any public notary.

No need na po. Basta original galing mismo sa court, my seal at my wet ink yung divorce decree. Okay na Yan.
So it takes 3 months to get married certificate after doing this all?? How about the imigration then!!? I was planning to sponsor my partner since im just going vacatin for 23 days 🙄🙄 is 23 days enough to do this all process??
You can get the marriage certificate lcr copy after the wedding and you can use it when filing the i130 but the PSA copy yeah it may take 1 to 3 months or more. It depends on the LCR. Once you have it, you can upload it on unsolicited evidence while waiting for the approval.
Yeah 23 days is enough as long as all the requirements are complete so make sure all paperwork are ready while waiting.

How long does it take for the whole process in order to get married
Hi this is based from our experience when me and my husband got married here last may 2022. If our requirements are complete, the whole process submitting the documents in local civil registry to apply a marriage license will likely just for a day but it took us 2 days as our papers was incomplete . Then we waited 10 consecutive calendar days ( some lcr 10 working days as per other viewers) to release the marriage license. So exactly 10 days we got back and had our marriage license and the next day we got married right away in civil wedding. Hope it helps. Good luck

Hindi po sis. If gusto ni husband mo papuntahin ka ng US, apply kayo spousal visa (cr1/IR1). Pwede by mail or online application sa uscis.gov website.
If gusto nyo naman mag stay ng husband mo dito Pinas, sa bureau of immigration kayo pumunta para mag apply ng extension visa nya while waiting sa 13a visa na ma approve.The 13A visa is a type of visa that allows a foreign spouse of a Filipino citizen to stay and live in the Philippines permanently.

It depends to the local civil registry officer where you intend to apply a marriage license. Some still under go even they are already in legal age but some don't.

No need na po. Wala naman kasing agency yung USA na magrerecord ng kasal. Unlike sa atin sa Pinas na may PSA.

Di na Po nag nonotarize yung us embassy. Locally notarize is okay. Email mo Sila sa ACSInfoManila@state.gov for confirmation, screenshots at ipaprint mo reply nila para may ipakita kung magtanong sila.
