First you have to set up an online appointment at the embassy website as locally notarization are no longer applicable. Lccm form is optional. Us embassy can provide it as well.
Hi Ruth, Please answer it's important for me thank you. Do I need the legal capacity for marriage form that will be provided at the US embassy and the no marriage certificate notarized? I thought I needed to go to the Philippines Statistics Authority office to get the form of no marriage. Can I take the one you provided on your description box???
No need to bring the form. US embassy will be the one gonna provide it. Just bring the following:
*appointment confirmation print out
*US birth certificate
* US passport
*Divorce decree | annulment paper | death certificate certificate of previous spouse if applicable
* Payment $50 or 3000php.
The PSA Cenomar or certificate of no marriage is one of the requirements to apply for a marriage license at a local civil registrar in your municipality. You can get it at any PSA outlet or you can order online at psaserbilis.com.ph and have it delivered to your doorstep. No need to notarize or apostille.
Hello, so my Filipina fiance and I PLAN on getting married when I go down there (from US). The thing is, I will only be there for 2 weeks. Is there any way to speed up the 10 day process for the marriage license? Or knock out some of the requirements beforehand? The marriage seminar, marriage license form in particular. After We return from US Consular Agency in Cebu from getting my affidavit in leui to contract marriage, the 10th day is my return flight home. Will we not have enough time to get married? :(
Hello!
Yes your fiance can prepare and obtain those other documents and requirements that needed ahead of time while waiting you to come except for legal capacity, it needs your personal appearance at the US embassy. Also the marriage license, as per law it really takes 10 consecutive days to release but try to ask your fiance to look any legit agency or some fixers who have connections inside the local civil registrar who can assist to process the marriage license quickly. But of course you have to pay more for convenience. Good luck and congratulations 👏

Yes you can , just set an appointment online and yeah you will get it right away. Maybe an hour depending on the queue.

Just fill out and ready the form and have it notarized in the Philippines because as per the memorandum, "local or Philippines notarization".

my son lives in Hawaii. Does he need to travel to Philipines to go to the US Embassy there to fill out these forms? Or can he fill them out here in US? His fiance lives near Lucerne(?) It is hard for her to travel to Manila on her own.
Yes he can fill out the form in the US and once your son arrives in the Philippines. He needs to go to us embassy manila or Cebu to have the legal capacity form notarized. His Filipina fiance doesn't need to travel in Manila if your son can travel on his own to the US embassy.

Hello. Are you getting married here in the Philippines ? If so , no need for that, Philippines government only asks from foreigner who's getting married here in the Philippines are the legal capacity to contract marriage from the foreign citizen embassy here, passport, birth certificate and if applicable (divorce decree or annulment paper/ Death certificate of previous spouse).
@@rutholaescraver wow, really… That’s why I got confused when some agency said I needed to fill out this form in the US and then bring this form with me ”reg-7e” to the Philippines…. if that’s the case, do I fill out the form that you showed in your video when I’m there or is it possible to get a copy of it before heading there and fill it out ahead of time… Then what is the procedure after that? Is there a waiting period? Or do I just take that form right with me to the area that I’m getting married at?
@@scottzahorenko3126 yeah. You don't need that form only the legal capacity to contract marriage. By the way may I know when is your plan to get married here in the Philippines because if you get married after October 31 2023, you have to obtain the lccm in the US embassy manila unless there will be another extension. And Yeah you can fill out the form ahead of time but don't sign it yet.
@@rutholaescraver yeah, I discussed that with my fiancé‘s friend who works with the borough hall, so I’m going to miss that deadline,, the iccm is the paperwork that I have to get from the US Embassy that you showed in your video? I won’t be there till sometime February, March of next year.… And once I get this paperwork filled out and notarized, is that all that I need to bring back and then fill out the marriage license?… Plus is there a waiting time for the document that I have to have the embassy fill out or do I get that paperwork back immediately and I can leave the same day with it?
@@scottzahorenko3126 yeah thats it. You may set up first an online appointment at us embassy website in advance and select the date you prefer. Then on the day of your appointment, bring the legal capacity affidavit sample form ( filled in already), your Birth certificate, passport and if applicable (evidence of your previous marriage termination original such us divorce decree, annulment or death certificate of previous spouse ) and of course the payment. It depends the waiting time to us embassy but you will get it right away maybe an hour . After that , along with other civil documents , you and your fiance can apply for marriage license at lcr and wait for 10 consecutive days to release the marriage license. I suggest ask your fiance to inquire on there lcr what exactly the requirements as it might be different. Good luck 🤞

Sis locally notarization pwede na ulit Hanggang 10/31/23. No need na pumunta sa UK embassy. Just print this PSA memorandum along with the blank affidavit form and have it notarize sa any public notary malapit sa inyo. heres the link

ok the way it works from what i can see is that the month needs to be fully booked up then they open up the next month so you need to just keep watching it til the month before you want to make appointment .

Hello po. Kapag po nagpa appointment gaano katagal bago ma release yung LCM? 21days lang po kasi vacay nya. Aabot po kaya yun hanggang sa makasal? Legal capacity na lang po kasi kulang namin.

If mag aapply kayo Ng marriage license on or before October 31, print nyo lng both Yung memorandum at affidavit blank form of LCCM (check my last video). Fill out your fiance info (LCCM) at ipanotarize sa attorney. Then submit nyo sa lcr nyo Kasama ibang requirements.

Hello. Yeah you need the ff when getting a legal capacity to contract marriage in the US embassy. LCCM form, proof of us citizenship like birth certificate if born in US, crba if born abroad, naturalization certificate if naturalize citizen, US passport and if applicable (divorce decree, annulment paper, Death certificate of previous spouse). You may download the sample blank affidavit then fill it out with your foreign fiance details and have it notarized when he arrive pero kung after October 31 pa dating nya.
