    James, thank you for another great video! Your videos stimulated the progress in my learning of CW when I was in the beginning of the way. By the way, my call signs are W5KAO and RV3DFL.

      Thank you Alex, I am glad the videos helped your progress while learning CW. It is my favourite mode and I enjoy getting outdoors and operating portable. I hope to have a CW contact with you one day, 73

    James, another great activation and video. You almost caught some spectators! They paused to listen but then continued on to the beach. They may join you one day to become activators of the future! 73 de David AE4LH

      I did notice a couple of people looking at what I was doing while walking by. I have had a quite a few people ask me about morse code, radio, etc. during my park activations. Hopefully it sparks interest and some will look into the hobby. Thanks for your feedback David, 73

    A very nice Video.
    With so many walkers, you can charge an entrance fee! :)) 😊

      The park is next to a popular beach so there was a lot of people walking back and forth. It was a hot day but I was sitting at a park bench beneath a large tree that kept me cool. Thanks for the feedback, 73

      That’s a BaMaTech key……just ordered one. Markus is great to deal with.

      Thanks Paul, yes the bird songs and cicadas are very distinctive at the VK parks. As per the above comment, the key is a BaMaTech TP-III, it is a very nice key, 73

    James, that key, Ba Ma Key TP-III key is really working Fantastic. The new radio what tyre of power are you working with ? EFRW looks a easy setup, is that the 22 metres antenna? TU James for the video and helping people understand how morse code is so enjoyable.73 44 de Dennis vk4oc.

      Thanks Dennis, I am enjoying the new TP-III key, it works well when operating portable. The FX-4CR is 10W on CW and up to 20W on SSB. This EFRW antenna is 10.8m long, there wasn’t enough space in the park for the longer antenna , 73

      @@vk2ter that antenna was working as 1/4 wave on 7.033mhz glad you got it working mate.

      @vk2ter  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @dennispeake1877 the 10.8m (35.5’) radiator is slightly longer than a quarter wave so it should be a “random” length. It was a little tricky to tune on 40m so I might try a slightly longer “random” length, 73

      Decisions..decisions..keep looking at those bamakeys..tp-ii or tp-iii. 🤷‍♂️

    • @vk2ter
      @vk2ter  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @bearwolf34 both are great keys. If I had to choose between the two, I would say the TP-III, the smaller size suits operating portable, 73
