It is great to hear your activation. After coffee, I am going out to K-3503 for some ham radio fun. I have a QSO with one of the same stations you contacted. Have a great day/evening. vy 73 de David AE4LH

g'day James, I like your antenna system 22m long end-fed random wire antenna as inverted-v EFRW Looks like 9.1 transformer at the end. What wire did you use ? it was very heavy last time at the beach on a 9m pole. Cheers mate de Dennis VK4OC.TU for your video.

Hi Dennis, the wire is only 0.5mm (24 AWG) so it is fairly lightweight. For some of my other antennas I use speaker wire which is about 1mm (18 AWG). The transformer is a 9 to 1 unun for the EFRW. Thanks again for your comments, 73
