  • Here is my review on my 2009 Ducati Monster 696. this was a really fun bike to own. i had her for 4K miles and if you know my track record thats long for me. I went on several cross state trips and numerous canyon rides.

    Before buying my bike, I've watched a few of your vids including this one and just wanted to let you know that they all helped a lot. Since February, I'm now an owner of a 2010 696 with low km's on her :-) cheers mate

      Hey man I'm planning on buying one with 35k km on it .. Do you think it's worth it ?
      That's one of the biggest reasons not to buy it .

    I've just bought a 2013 Ducati Monster 696 in pearlescent white same colour as yours, i used to have an '01 Monster 600 dark which i loved for 5 years, but the newer ones feel like the older ones but just so much better. The engine, brakes, handling just feel tighter and better quality. Lovely bikes!

    literally almost identical to mine. i have the SC project CRT's, integrated tail light, OEM mirrors and levers, clear windscreen. ive really fallen in love with this bike. and yes tank grips are a MUST! she is a little hot in the city (stop/go traffic) but a dream on the highway. maintenance can be expensive so i try to do it all myself but damn having to take the tank off just to get to the battery

    Great video dude! It's hard to find really well thought out review. i'm tossing up whether to get a 696/676 or buy another Street Triple R....Ducati is just so sexy

    • @ManaMotors
      @ManaMotors  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      T Le Grange tough one man. I’m slightly leaning towards the street triple. The maintenance is cheaper and parts more available plus the triple motor is stronger. But hot dayum are Ducati’s sexy

    I must recommend putting an oil cooler on it you’ll never have an engine over heat. I live in NYC and traffic makes it a pain to ride until I did this.Nice review.

    Hey @mana motors wondering what a typical exhaust (slip on / full system) cost might be for a 696? I can't find much info online, sadly. I'm about to buy a 2014 Monster 696 ABS with under 6,300 miles on it, but the exhaust is stock and I'm trying to budget for that as my first project. Thanks! Awesome reviews.

      I found cheap slip ons on eBay for 120$ but if you care about brand then GPR (Italian exhaust brand) would be something your after ranging $300+

    • @ManaMotors
      @ManaMotors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Qeyed ahh i see. dont start on an FZ09. youre a car guy like i am. i am very sure youll have plenty of bikes once you really get into it. start simple on something manageable so you can enjoy the bike and learn the fundamentals then trade up when youre ready. an analogy is imagine learning to drive on in a Porsche 911, sure you'll manage but mistakes will be magnified and expensive.
