Hey brother I would use and aluminum welding rod to fix that crank case damage, I wouldn't go to a TIG torch considering that it's only a crack and an aluminum welding rod would work perfect to seal it up, what have you done with the bike so far in terms of that damage?
Watched 5 minutes, gee I hope you just sold it. Solder the alloy crankcase, are you serious , seat key in seat cowl fastener etc. I cringed watching this.
That is a sad case, your brave for taking this on. These bikes were made as disposable crap by the factory.. to drop the Moto, both frames have to be unbolted as well as the swingarm ugh!

Kim Jong Il i used a regular high flow filter from o’rileys that had a beed on the ends so the hoses wouldn’t slip off.

I replaced the crank case! It was only $80 on ebay. Got lucky. Was able to assemble it for under $200 with gaskets and misc parts

Legit.1000 usd is too much for rhe condition of the bike.
We got a new crank case for only $80. For the condition the old one was in it was unsalvageable. PT.2 is uploading right now!
