I love my 1997 M750. Only had it 2 weeks. Yes my Triumph Tiger that's parked next to it is like a Rolls Royce in comparison, but the Ducati is just something you have to own to get it. Restomod in progress.
I love my red 1999 M900. I bought it brand new in ‘99 and put 48K Miles on it so far. My other bikes, including Ducatis, came and went, but this one, I still plan on keeping.
I agree. Since returning to motorcycling have tried a few different bikes including a Supersport and some big Japanese fours. All that is left are two Monsters, a 750 and a 900ie. Absolutely love them, can't wait to ride them any chance I get, excitement starts to build from mid-week for the weekend ride. They are so much fun it changes your brain architecture. This is how should feel about your bike!
Aha, just seen that you're back and you've done a video on a bike that I own 😊. Mine is a s2r 1000 2008, I love it. I know that some people are very nostalgic about carburettors but I think the best thing that Ducati did was to change to fuel injection. They got it right from the start. A very stimulating bike to ride. Yet another excellent video, thank you 👍
I love this OG Ducati monster M900 ❤😅. I agree to the fact that new monster looks like KTM or even MV Agusta Brutale in my opinion 😂. This was lovely to look at ,ride and sounded Raw&burbly . Please do a video on history of Honda Hornet CB900F which arrived in 90s after monster M900 was released and Suzuki SV650 which was the cheaper reliable monster alternative from late 90s. Please do a story on both these bikes especially the Hornet because not much is known about it 🙌
well i got my eye in one... a silver grey one with about 30k kms, and a black one with about 60k kms... both similar priced, black with MIVV exaust, silver with the rear cutted.... 😍
@@mitracangalheiro without seeing them 30,000 ks is half as many as 60,000 ks. Personally 60,000 is too many for me but I am pretty anal when it comes to bikes.
It a shame what they did to the new monster all that plastic pieces. Covering the engine. I bought a new 2024 full throttle due to it being air cooled & kind of resembles the old monsters
Yes mate I agree. You could release the original model brand new today and it would still look great. Of course, the new models perform very well but to instantly recognize it as a Ducati going down the road is very hard.
To me it's the worst-looking Ducati ever, I really dislike its overall Shape. It's probably a decent bike, but I would never buy one; give me a Scrambler instead
@@jp1892 the looks of a bike or anything for that matter is a personal thing, same goes for color. Appreciate your comment but I can definitely say that you are in the minority. The monster is by far Ducati's best selling model. If you get a chance to ride one do it!

Thanks buddy, Yes their fuel injection was spot on. I owned a S2R 800 and then a S4RS. In my opinion they are just fantastic motorcycles in every way.
I got the same bike, and I agree, its a great bike to ride, and looks just awesome
beautiful bike and great video
@@Tom-nj9vi thank you!

I actually had the hornet lined up to do a comparison at the time but i decided against it. So yer it might appear on the channel at some stage.
Great video, beautiful bike, need to find a nice one…
@@JohnAdams-kc8wx my brother just bought a 600 but its pretty rough. The 900s are much better
