    Great result - you can be rightly proud of how the Monster turned out. A well deserved profit too!

    you did well! and 2700 USD is really cheap! but man, you put hella labor into it. I have a 2013 m696 and mostly did the things you did. it was therapeutic and relaxing, but also the learning curve and the frustration behind trial and error made me wish to pay someone to do it for me. In the end, I had a mechanic install the new rotors (f+b), chain, tires, and sprockets for me. cost me $642 in labor but I thought it was worth it. also, glad that your fairings fit OEM. I bought mine from amotopart and that shit 1) didn't fit well and 2) had a messed up DUCATI logo placement. I know that we all try to save as much as we can on our projects, but I would rather dole out for OEM and spare myself the frustration and hassle.

    Thanks for doing this series. It helped immensely in my pre-purchase research. Did you ever do the valve adjustment? You talked about doing it but I didn’t see a video on it.

    $4500???? What year is that? Oh, I found your old video, a 2009 696. Still a good price!

    Hey man great stuff. Just one quick question. Does this model have ABS? Non-abs models are easier to come by so I'm wondering if I should go for it. My past experiences include 125, then a 250cc.

    • @ManaMotors
      @ManaMotors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! This model is not abs. Abs is pretty nice but not a necessity. Luckily if you ever drop it just rewatch this series haha. The 696 will be a nice jump from your 250.

    I liked the video, but wasn't the bike white in the beginning? You didn't put the price of a paint job in the stuff that was done. Did you paint it yourself? Either way, the bike turned out nice. Cheers.

    • @ManaMotors
      @ManaMotors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There’s a video of switching the plastics out for red. Luckily these bikes can switch colors pretty economically this way
