I loved seeing how excited your dogs got when you asked them if they wanted to go to the creek. The workshop is looking great and loved the joke about firing the guy! lol
Great to see your progress! Have a " love/hate relationship with Jennifer's jokes. She's the Queen of "Dad jokes"!😂 " hey y'all..what we doin'?" has become one of our frequent sayings.
As usual Richard, the planning and execution of your projects is impeccable. I am especially fascinated by your use of pegs to connect the components of the timber frame. I think pegs are not used enough by others. I wish nails could be eliminated completely.
@@SmokyMountainOutpost I'm slow but able, I just like having everything I need to finish a job before I start, gotta stack up some metal roofing before I pour the footers
Your buildings that you have built and are building on solid foundation are heaven sent . So gifted to be able to do all the things you do. You have excellent help from Jennifer which we all love and you of course to Richard. Love your cabin, your gardens, your henhouse ,your outhouse ,your new construction of your workshop. What are you going to do with your old workshop. ? If you tear it down you could probably use some of the wood from the structure or discard it. Love your open garage or driveway for your truck. You have done a great job in everything . Thanks for sharing . God Bless You and Yours.
Hey Richard -- the workshop looks great. Love to see Jennifer and her son working with you. Your two dogs are crazy! That just made my day!. It cold here today -- 55 deg. -- My ex mother in law must be visiting -- Every time she shows up -- the furnace comes on -- even in the summer. Hmm -- I can lock myself in the garage until she is gone. Ha ha ha !! Hope everyone has a great weekend!! Stay healthy and happy!!!
Great job Richard, got a bunch accomplished today especially after the crew of Jennifer and Landon showed up for work. It's always a blessing when Jennifer and her family show up to give a helping hand, The build is coming right along and it won't be much longer till you'll need Patrick's help with the roofing part. Stay safe around there and keep up the good work. Any chance of you showing the tool belt you were wearing with the square holder and strapping? Fred.
good job and video as always i think before it;s done you will make a timber framer out of Jenifer you both do really nice work. take care, be safe and well.
Man o man you’re a very good builder indeed. You take pride in your work. As we all can see I am a subscriber, although I don’t believe I made a comment till now you have really good videos. I am from the East Coast Nova Scotia. I have my own channel as well.👍✌️
I’ll check it out! Thanks for stopping in and leaving a comment. I appreciate the very kind words and encouragement. Thanks again. Hope all is well with you
These structures that you’re building are so well built that they’ll be around for a hundred years or more. Have you considered maybe carving or branding the year of construction on one of your post?
Nice work. I am amazed at how well everything went together so well. I know it was not without a lot of planning. My luck though, I would have something swell or twist causing me problems. of course it went together a lot easier from my point of view (your video) than it did actually being there and doing the work. :-)
Yea we have one more section being built that will house the sawmill and a storage area behind it for wood. After that.. maybe something here or there. But currently no plans once the next section is built. Stay tuned though, my dad may change his mind 🤷🏻♂️😂 Thanks John!

Yeah!
These structures that you’re building are so well built that they’ll be around for a hundred years or more. Have you considered maybe carving or branding the year of construction on one of your post?
Yea we have thought about it and talked over. Good idea though, I’ll pass it back around to my dad. Thanks for the kind words as well.
That shop is built to last.
Thank you
I have considered how often you have needed to reposition cameras in order to provide the superb videos you produce.
A LOT. 😂 and sometimes many clips don’t make the cut.
Funny, thanks
👏🏼👋🏼😂 no problemo
Good morning

Yes, problems show up all the time lol, twisting, warping etc
Great video guys got a new subscriber out of me ...keep up the good work
Awesome! Thank you!
With all the tornadoes your next build should be an underground safety shelter.
We have a hole dug for a root cellar that we will begin afterwards
Do you plan to extend this structure later looks fantastic a true tradesman
