But, I don't hold it against you for one second, you deserve it all Colin, you have entertained millions of people for so many years with your awesome projects, it fills me with joy to see you hit this seriously next level achievement and I cannot wait to watch what you do next!
this is a 25 minute commercial for the mind of Colin and I am here for it. Unbelievable space and amazing how he keeps the small creator mentality with over "one billion views"... lets go!
Hey Colin, a few tips for the laser cutter. First is when you cut wood, if you put masking tape over the top when the vaperised material falls back down it stains the tape not the wood. Does mean you then need to take a craft knife to the middle of small circles to remove the tape and some times the scorched effect looks good. Second tip is in the hackspace where I use one we once had the material catch light and the person using it had walked away to make a tea and it near destroyed the laser cutter so we made it a rule that you stay watching it while the laser is active so you can hit the kill switch and use a CO2 extinguisher on it before things get out of hand. If you check the London Hackspace wiki, you will see what happened to ours before. As a man who clearly loves his tools, I'll warn you it doesn't look pretty. I am interested to see what you can do with the new setup.
I also had our laser cutter catch fire. I think it was transfer tape that caught fire after the piece that had it on dropped to the bottom area. I guess the laser shot through without anything in between and it lit up. Luckily I didn't walk away because it was a quick cut. But ya. Basically never walk away from a laser cutter.
presumably this is why the bevvy facilities are immediately to the right of the laser cutter. so even if you are making a cup of tea you are two feet at most from the machine, boss thinking really.
I'm sick with envy. If there was anyone who deserves this epic of an upgrade, it's Colin. Dude is the real deal. Incredible the projects he's done in the shed, it'll be exciting to see them scale up!
Actually not typically for repair, it's used to cut the center out of material. You drill a hole, feed the blade through and join it back together. Mine does 350mm steel and has weights to pull it.
Purely coincidental that the available machinery and floor space now allows the building of below ground, raising garage, tunnel extension 🙂 brilliant workshop Colin.

*Watching Colin move into a bigger space with loads of new tools actually has me really excited.. Love this.*
Agree. Can't wait to see what this means he can now do on his channel and what he can now build...
This new shop is a fabricator's dream. You've worked hard and your deserve this Colin, congrat's can't even imagine at this point the kits that's going to come out of this garage..looking forward to what's your dreaming up in your head Colin..like I said, congrats.
I can't believe it's been this long before you actually made an upgrade this big. It's also wonderful that you put this in one video. Some TH-camrs could have made this into a 30 part series.
If anyone deserves this dream workshop, it's you Colin! For years I've been amazed at the things you've made out of your shed. You never let space or lack of tools stop you from doing amazing work. Cheers
I love the fact that the money he has so rightly made from this channel, goes straight back into it.
That what passion builds. I have dumped nearly every cent of money i have made over the past decade back into my workshop for building cars and it just keeps getting bigger.
You really think he bought these tools? Absolutely not, they gave them to him
@@brandontscheschlog he bought the building did he not?
@@jayemitchell8022 Without the several hundred thousand dollars worth of tools the building would be worthless so it’s really irrelevant
@@brandontscheschlog I think that goes without saying, big sponsorships and paid promotions go a long way and Colin has his head on right for sure. I have followed him since his channel since its inception and watching him grow into this has been quite the journey and accomplishment. It benefits those companies to have a platform like his where he can show off what those machines do.
This is so exciting. I've been watching your videos for years. Can't wait to see what you make in this new shop!
If anyone is to get a large shop, Colin is the one who deserves it the most. I'm glad that after all these years he's been able to get a shop this big. Can't wait for the mega projects that are to come out of here.
I'm weeping watching this.
This is indeed THE DREAM!
Specially because this man started with just garage tools and a shed, something that everyone can have, and now he's got this awesome workshop.
and a camera
He didn't even go to any Trade School for most of these skills; he's a self taught ex-plumber.
I can't believe he hasn't done this 5-10 years ago.
Nobody deserves a new, fully kitted workshop more than Colin!!
I think it’s awesome that you’re really utilizing and promoting the UK manufacturers. I’m not from there but I enjoy seeing the positive energy towards one’s home.
Enjoy this, mate! You've absolutely earned every inch of it and more!
He really has! Can't wait to see what kind of insanity he uses it for!
Earned it lol
The moment you realize that Colin's regular workshop is already better equiped than most private workshops in the world will ever be
That's a better workshop than what I used to work in... And we built stuff for hospitals! I love the big workshop, can't wait to see what comes out of it.
Is this not private then? 🧐
I had the same , built up from 30 years of working 110 hours a week as a staff of one.
Except mine was messier . because you just keep buying that new tool to make the next job easier / more efficient
The important thing is , i also had tea.
I feel like Colin had the most amazing "Christmas" experience of his life right here. Every toy he could dream of. This is a level of success most of us could never even fathom. Congratulations!
"Look and over here I can bend metal!!"
My brain hurts just thinking about how all those machines work. And all the software that goes with it. How does 1 man learn it all?! And remember it all. And then film it all and edit it in such an effective way.
The commitment, time and patience required also blows my mind....
Hats off 👏🏼
Unbelievable! 👍🏼
I can't think of anyone who deserves all this more than you. Can't wait to see what this new space brings!
I don't know why, but the delivery on "my Barnes full of corn" was just one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Props to Tom for that.
that needs to be on a shirt

What time is it folks.....it is Furzeday!!!!! Yaaaaa!!!!
For a solid minute i tried to figure out what day this is a pun with... then i realised all days end with a "day"
I guess it sounds a lot like Thursday

i love how humble you are and how you appreciate how lucky you are ..........im (as im sure all of us subscribers are) am extremely happy for you, your dream workshop will not only fulfil all of YOUR dreams but let us live OURS through you ........well done man........keep doing you
Many buy tools before needing them, you've been doing the opposite for years. We appreciate your wild content, and will always do so, no matter where you make your builds. You earned it❤️
Not one buy-tool was seen.
Whenever I see one of the cuts I just think about how long it actually took to do whatever task it was, and I have so much respect for Colin
Most people want a dream house or gaming setup, but this man wants a garage. You earned it Colin
Nice name you have there 🙂Very nice
The level of jealously that is coursing through my veins right now is so immense. But, I don't hold it against you for one second, you deserve it all Colin, you have entertained millions of people for so many years with your awesome projects, it fills me with joy to see you hit this seriously next level achievement and I cannot wait to watch what you do next!
That is envy, not jealousy.
@@hb1338 You're right!
this is a 25 minute commercial for the mind of Colin and I am here for it. Unbelievable space and amazing how he keeps the small creator mentality with over "one billion views"... lets go!
A maker of your caliber deserves a workshop like that.
But ya. Basically never walk away from a laser cutter.
presumably this is why the bevvy facilities are immediately to the right of the laser cutter.
so even if you are making a cup of tea you are two feet at most from the machine, boss thinking really.
this is without a doubt the most entertaining ad that I have ever watched
I'm sick with envy. If there was anyone who deserves this epic of an upgrade, it's Colin. Dude is the real deal. Incredible the projects he's done in the shed, it'll be exciting to see them scale up!
That band saw blade repair station blew my mind. Now THAT'S efficiency!
Just started a Fitted Furniture Business in Devon, I got myself the exact same table saw with the digital read-out. Can't wait till I can afford a CNC - Game changer!
Out of all the maker TH-camrs you are the most deserving of a large workshop congrats Colin
The toolshops who provide him with the new tools also know those tools are gone be used to make great/fun/remarkable stuff
I don't think any commercial in the world could make me want to get into crafting as much as Colin showing off his shopping splurge. What an amazing space you've built, man!
I had the exact same feeling.
I am honestly surprised you haven't upgraded earlier. This is well deserved. Good job, Colin.
I just ran into your channel last night watching you make that tunnel at your house. You seem like a alright, grateful man. Stay humble and thank you for the inspiration!
You should add a Ceiling/Overhead crane for the workshop to make it easy to hold or lift big/heavy projects
Oh my god. Ladies and gentlemen. The dream workshop is here. Well done Sir. You absolutely deserve this. I’ve watched you from the very beginning and can’t congratulate you enough for building this incredible workshop 🎉
Wow! Just wow! Oh and bloody jealous!
What a set up. Good luck Colin.
Honestly forgot that you had been only working out of a shed for all these years. It's incredible the things you've made and I can't wait to see what you can do with all of this space
Only handful of people exist in this world which has, a dream, a way to reach it, dedication to make it through, the heart to love the process, then blessed with loving family/friends, and Colin, you are gifted with also bringing others joy and happiness just by sharing these journey with others, you are one heck of a wonderful human being
Thank you
Crushed it dude. Well said
I havent even worked in a commercial shop this well equipped. This place is insane.
Now that we have checked out everything, (thank you very much for the tour) Please entertain us with your mega projects. Looking forward
All the best Colin.

I love how you don't just fill it with great kit, but make it look amazing. Truly deserved. Thank you.
No other guy deserves this more. Making massive record breaking items in a tiny shed for so many years. Congratulations I'll still keep watching.
I can't believe that I'm watching your channel for 4 years now and I can literally see where you were and where are you now. Now thinking about that makes my mind blow up ,because its massively superb thing you've done through these years. I just wanted to say good job Colin. You really deserve better even than this.
Proof positive right here... You work hard ... You Win!!
Congrats Collin...you deserve that shop!
This man is living the dream. Obviously Colin worked hard for it, so it surely is well deserved. Looking forward to see you work that awesome new place!
Video next week: "BUILDING AN UNTERGROUND PASSAGE TO THE SECOND WORKSHOP!!"
It's gonna be great!
In this case he's going to use his large shop to build an 8-ft diameter underground hole saw instead of hand digging the whole thing. 😁
This needs to happen.
Building codes? We don't need no stinkin building codes!
@@randywl8925 tunnel boring machine

From a fellow engineer, this is all our dream workshops! Keep it up and carry on inspiring
Just love watching Colin geek out about the tools, it was about time. Best infomercial I have ever seen
This is an awesome addition to your channel. You totally deserve this. It actually shows what years of dedication, hard work and boyish enthusiasm can achieve. Inspirational to all generations. Congratulations.
Maybe. And maybe not.
I've never been so genuinely happy for someone I don't actually know! Amazing
I've been away from this channel for a while and am blown away by the new workshop and that he still has the same energetic approach to everything. Love that he hasn't made 10 videos on this workshop with hours of waffle and ego polishing. Really looking forward to the first project in the new workspace.
Collin, my wife and I found your channel by accident last week and we have been binging your videos ever since. Thank you for being the one to bring humor to engineering and we love you for it from Indiana in the US. Congratulations on the new work shop!
This isn’t just your dream workshop, it’s everyone’s, I’m really happy for you and somewhat jealous
I love how almost every tool is sponsored.
This shows how not only we love to see him use tools but also the manufacturer of the tools.
Yeah I do to, but ....
how is he gonna connect the underground tunnel to the new shed?
@@britniejohnson-parris5094 eventually he's just gonna connect straight to the London underground
He doesn't have a milling machine, should have gotten that instead of the pillar drill.
@@Robert-cu9bm he probably doesn’t need one for large projects, not only that but he could order them on line from certain companies
The fact that this is just one video instead of ten should tell you all you need to know! Hype about the new space! Colin is such a legend!
Looks incredible Mr. Furze and nobody deserves it more. All that hard work is paying off and as a fan, I love to see it.
It's about time you got a proper shop. But I will forever be amazed at the massive scale of projects you've completed out of your tiny shed.
This is not a workshop, this is a complete factory. Well done Collin, looks very nice.
I don't think having a big workshop that's away from your house takes any of the spirit of the channel away. It's still just you and sometimes a few friends building crazy contraptions. Not having a bunch of employees that do all the labor for you is what makes it so cool to me. So excited to see the projects that come out of this place. Can't wait for the car lift, that has been a fantasy of mine since I was a kid.
