  • Josh is an avid bowhunter and wanted to see what kind of damage his new Magnus Buzzcut broadheads would do on a deer. A big doe comes into 15 yards and Josh draws his bow. Ever made a mistake in the heat of the moment? Josh's bow comes into contact with the top of the blind yet the result is one of the best blood trails we've ever seen. Check it out and be sure to SUBSCRIBE.

That's awesome. Sometimes we make a rough shot and happily, once in a while we get a break. Enjoyed the footage of a red-headed woodpecker as well.

Almost looks like it nicked the second deer behind also.

I have a video of a spine shot on my channel and it’s rough. Bad shots happen sometimes.

How does your camera guy not tell you to wait as the other deer is clearly in the line of the arrow on a pass though? Not cool.

Hi Eric, thanks for watching. Keep in mind the camera guy has a different view than what the shooter does. So it's not always apples to apples on the shot angle. And Josh is a seasoned hunter and knows when and when not to shoot. That's not saying he can't make a mistake. In this case the second deer wasn't directly behind the front deer and Josh felt with his compound bow he could make that shot at 15 yards. Bumping the top of the blind is what caused the shot to be off. but it worked out. Only one deer hit and she died very quickly. Thanks again and hope you've had a great season!.

@SheddingLightOutdoors if that's what you sticking to. "Know your target and what's beyond" sure looks like that second deer was right behind the first. Waiting on the shot is the correct move. Just saying.

You hit both deer. Have to be mindful of that when harvesting deer.

Next time wait till there is no deer behind your intended target , sure looks like you hit the 2nd one also .
