Same man I started watching his content after battling him at okc and his content is super underrated, much better than 90% of everything else on TH-cam
I truly appreciate your voice over on the time lapse. It’s so much better than listening to crappy music. Thanks for taking the extra time to teach, explain, and jibber jabber.
I don't like watching TV so you, boostedboys, PFIspeed and cleetus mcfarland is like my TV and I get excited when you guys do builds like this and I've been waiting for this to come all day
Hoonigan, Donut media, emelia Hartford, Whistlin diesel... man I could go on! So many great channels I can hardly keep up. TH-cam is the best platform for car people, by far. Don't miss cable TV at all
I hope you make a support bracket for the turbo once it is fixed in place, your exhaust manifolds will thank you. LOVE THE VIDEOS. Incredible fab work.
He will definitely need a support mount especially with flex joints, typically on the turbo flange itself if it’s t3/4 or on that 2 to 1 merge if it’s vband

@@Dabagel100 exactly! I just can't wait to see him compete now that he is going to have the car that can keep up! Especially since he did so much with an underpowered car, I hope he does ProSpec next year!
Went to watch this on the phone while taking a break in the john. But now I've decided this deserves to pull out a larger screen and to sit down to enjoy it. Glad to see you keep chugging along dude keep it up. Your videos really fire me up and push me to get up and motivated.
Im so stoked that you are building at this level without any major sponsors, crazy expensive machining equipment, and out of your home shop. There's something to be said for doing a full build yourself and not just throwing money at it or hiring someone. Love that you keep things humble and grassroots.
Even though I'm a circuit racer I love the drift builds mainly because so many are grassroots accessible even at the very highest level like James Deane.
I love the authenticity of your videos. It’s just such a “raw” feel if you will. Your videos feel like you’re just a buddy of mine workin in the Garage together. Isn’t all “paparazzi” feeling like Adam LZ for an example. Idk just 2 different vibes just like the more “raw” feel personally. Keep up the work dude, so stoked on this build
Hint for stuff like fittings (or anything really), if there is a brand you like / want to be consistent with is to get a brochure / catalogue of their full parts list, usually available as a pdf to download these days. Generally meant for re-sellers but can be useful if your ever in a similar situation where you need different options for fittings, connectors, tools, hardware and so on.
Just a quick suggestion, keep one of those temp guns handy in your trailer, that way you can do a quick check to make sure one of your EGT sensors isn't giving you false data. I have seen that before where one EGT was going bad and it seemed like the engine was misfiring on that cylinder, then you play with the tune a bunch trying to fix a problem that isn't there. Using the temp gun to quickly verify the EGT readings can save you that hassle. 👍
Taylor, remove additional bracket of dry sump tank and weld a piece of flat bar perpendicular to the already welded one to create a angle bar. You will get your desire stiffness and you do not need that extra bolt on the fender. Great stuff as always, i enjoy to watch your videos every time. Can't wait to see you ripping the C6 on KK. Greetings from Poland.
It’s so much extra work on top of building a race car to make these videos, I know it is, so I just wanted to say thank you for still doing it and sharing with us.
I’m absolutely stoked to see this build finished I’ve been watching your channel for a while now since way before the fummins build started I’ve loved to see the progress man keep up the amazing content I can’t wait for the day I’m financially stable enough to start building cars and truck!!!💯👍🏼😎

Probably my favourite build on TH-cam, great work man. Your way of explaining everything and “jibber jabbering” is something you don’t see on to many car build channels, I like how you explain to the viewers how and why you are doing something. I just started following you as you got this car and I’m glad I did, quickly becoming my favourite channel!
dont worry about the people commenting telling you to hard mount the turbo, us fans that have been here since day 1 know you are an extremely competent fabricator and we know you wont forget something as critical as this! much love from the UK, been watching since you tried blowing up the Miata with maple syrup, love you and your content man!
I'm a fan of using angle bar for bracing, flat bar just flexes too much especially alum. Dry-sump bracket looks good just need some hole-saw treatment when you get some free time later. Summit use to have a great site, still ok but they keep making it worse. Funny how plumbing plans change so much and always have to order diff fittings.
Yep. Always something you didn’t realize. Lol and yeah I just had the worst luck searching stuff on summit. I would type in exactly what it was. No results. Use half of whatever it was. Dig through pages. Find what I was looking for and it would be labeled exactly what I typed originally.
Im an idiot cause now seeing you fab the single turbo setup.... its soo much nicer than the duo turbo would have been. You made the right choice taylor!
Loving the build series. Can't wait to see this thing in action. If you want crimped fitting on your AN hoses you cab go to a hydraulic supply place and they can usually crimp your hoses for you while you're there
Your builds are beyond the best I’ve ever watched on youtube. This vette build is going to be absolutely nuts! Noticed you used a new camera angle making that flat bar piece for the sump tank. You ever considered using a head mounted GoPro for new camera angle? Think it would be a sweet addition to your already amazing videos! Keep it up man! Thanks for the many hours of entertainment!

It’s a game changer. You can setup a wishlist too. Helped me keep track of doing just fittings. Or sorting by size so I could cross refrence it later and make sure I wasn’t missing stuff.
I have to give you two suggestions from a guy that’s had/ built 1000 hp twin turbo dry sump 1969 Camaro . Put the breather as far front or back of the car so you don’t breath the fumes . Secondly by ARP header studs that’s too much stress / weight with the turbo on the heads and bolts be it Arp or regular. Especially if you’re going to be taking them on and off a lot and you will not have any exhaust leaks with them . Best of luck on the build !
Super stoked on this build. Can’t wait for the first start and rips . Good work and good entertainment. Road to FD build eventually. Excited for you bro.
Its crazy to see how far and fast you've progressed as a builder brotha! Keep killing it man!! Just a heads up before you go too far. Peterson has a ton of options for scavenge filters. From 4" to 8" 45's, 90's, etc. Just get it in a higher micron count to make up for the shorter length.
Cannot believe I was watching you mig weld two bits of quarter inch steel in your shared house and shared two car garage to you tig welding your own custom LS headers on your pro car.
