I came here to write this for anyone who might need it right now. Exactly 2.5 years ago my ex and I broke up. I remember watching this and crying my eyes out. Yes, it is easier said than done but you can do it. I want you to know that you are not alone and that you WILL be okay. And I want you to know that I empathize with your pain. I know exactly how it feels, crying at 3 AM and wishing that person was there, and that everything was back to how it used to be. I know exactly how it feels to completely open your heart up to a person, to be so vulnerable, and to share everything with them. I know exactly how it feels to have the same person crying to you and telling you how much they love you, yet a few months down the line, leaving you completely by yourself and effortlessly moving on from you. I know exactly how it feels to have been so "loved" by someone, who would always be there for you and support you in everything you did; but yet now you're crying at all hours of the day wondering whom you can turn to now that that person is not here anymore. I know how it feels....and you know what else? I KNOW You WILL be OKAY. You are stronger than you think. You will be able to get through this. You will grow to love yourself again, and you will come to learn that there is NOTHING (love, happiness, stability, hope) they can give you that you cannot give to yourself. This is not the end of your world. Time will keep ticking. The earth continues to spin. The seasons will pass. And slowly but surely, you will move on. One day you will look up and say, with complete honesty, "I am okay." I have been through it, and I know as much as it pains you to hear the quote "This too shall pass," I want you to hold onto that, even if it's just a tiny bit of hope, I want you to hold on. Believe in yourself. You will get through this and perhaps return to this video, but this time not in pain and tears, but in complete PEACEFULNESS, pure ACCEPTANCE, and unconquerable STRENGTH and SELF-LOVE. And when that time comes, I promise you will feel so GRATEFUL for this heartbreak.... Here's how i'm getting over my 2 and a half year breakup:
#1- Remember that it's going to hurt. It is normal. Cry all you need to.
#2- Know that things DO GET BETTER. No matter how much it hurts now, know that everything happens for a reason.
#3- Remember there is ALWAYS someone better. It's cliche..but there's more fish in the sea. Find someone who will want your time and will be obsessed with you..
#4- Stay busy. Go out with friends, go on nature walks, listen to music, work more...etc. If you stay busy, you'll never have time to think about that person. AND the pain will fade more and more everyday.
#5- Know that your time could be spent on things that could better you as a person. Crying over someone is a waste of time.
#6- Get rid of everything that reminds you of that person. (if you can). Get rid of clothes, or any objects that was given to you. (donate them maybe?)
#7- Like Salice says, know your worth..You will eventually recognize yourself and your needs. Sometimes you do need to stay to yourself. And DON'T go out immediately looking for love...let it come to you...let it all play out.
#8- Know that in a couple of months, this person will literally be irrelevant to you. You won't even remember their middle name. 😂😂 You will have moved on...Just like your past relationships. EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY ❤ "Take a deep breath, mourn the loss, and start living again." 😘

I had to move back with family (who aren't great either) on the other side of the country, and start over from scratch. No car, no college, no job.
