It looks like he was hitting the brake torque limit table, you can see it add fuel and then cut fuel once it loaded up.

I run my 03 Dodge with S06 on 7 tq 3, injection duration on 2 and timing set at default since its advanced on odd # settings and have BD turbo. Tranny been rebuilt couple years back and let me say the truck moves! Lol
Pulled a trailer with snow blower and garden tractor without lowering the settings other day and egts stay cool enough, but probably take it down some on longer trip if I'm pulling something little heavier
Should have torqued the shift bands while you had the pan off. Nice set up btw

You need to change the rail pressure and the timing and torque all to level 3 it will help make it a real 210 horse tune those are just guesses for general trucks

Teach you boys something, the cheaper the trans fluid the less friction modifier added, friction modifier is for making smoother shifts, the cheaper the fluid the less your clutches are going to slip
@@DIRT4x4MUD they are going to slip regardless that’s the design of an automatic transmission. But the wear that happens and the buildup is dependent upon fluid
@@MegaBolens yes, however higher line pressure and less friction modifier go hand in hand for increasing clutch pack clamping force and grip. If the goal is to make high hp and have the trans hold as much as possible, run cheaper ATF and change it more frequently. It depends on the build and how smooth you want shifts.

Run some power driven diesel fluid in your transmission and it'll last longer. It prevents slip.

You should of just drill a hole in that old pan you can always buy a drain plug for that old one unless you throw it out

My 2006 is always set to level 9 and so far so good. I had a local race shop do my transmission though. It runs out of fuel when I lay into it. It will roast my 37 13.50 20s. I am installing a lift pump next week on it.

@@Ethan_LeBlanc The lift pump left me stranded in Florida on vacation, and the transmission went out last month.
@@venomfastback damn, what brand lift pump did you go with. Also you said you had a race shop do your transmission so how did it go out on you
@@Ethan_LeBlanc It was a drop in the tank one. Fleece or something like that. As for the transmission, they never really told me what was wrong with it. My wife was driving it and it just stopped moving. So, I spent another 5000 at the same shop to fix it.

We’re you on and off the throttle cause it sounds like it shifts great but rpms jumped all over like you were on and off the throttle!
100% is a stock trans. Doesn’t shift hard enough to be built. In all honesty, I made it half a day with my Smarty way back in 2007 before I put it on level 9 and proceeded to beat the piss out of it for 9 months before the stocker died. Never turned it down. If you think that’s impressive, BUILD THE TRANS! Entirely different beast. Seriously. Do it. Don’t wait. That’s also WAY less smoke than Smarty used to have. Nice. And you don’t need a lift pump yet, anyone that says you do is a moron. Enjoy, but beware....it’s a slippery slope....

Matt 359 On my ‘03? No. Still running....geez I don’t even remember which version of TNT/R I have. Used to have the VIN-locked /R on my ‘07, then switched to EFILive, and they came out with /R for everybody. I’ve been debating between MM3 or HPTuners for the ‘03

Matt 359 Definitely. Dirty tuning just dumps smoke and 100% chokes the turbo, doesn’t spool well at all. Clean out the head, excellent turbo response, clean out the pipe. Win win
@@moparproud3978 there is a guy out in bc that takes a list of your mods, builds a sift on the fly 6 position switch and sets it up with hp tuners, im going to give that a try.
In an auto once you build boost lift off brake. Your rear brakes are massive dude n lock your tires. Rears are larger than your fronts.
What are the benefits from having more transmission fluid?
Lol I drove my 2nd gen 24 valve on my 130 horse, 350 ft lbs of torque tune for 6 months and I was constantly hard on my truck. Before that I had 60 horse tune and I was harder on it then. The trans was fine and it was the original trans never rebuilt. So your fine on the 210

Boom outdoors Still works as good as the day I bought it, I run the truck on the 60 horse tune daily and I’ve put about 22,000 miles on it since I got the truck at 273k. I know the transmission has been rebuilt before but I don’t know if it’s to stock standards or it could possibly be a better built transmission.

I have a 2003 Cummins dually crewcab with a 8ft bed. With my Smarty jr on performance tune it will smoke all 4 back tires like that withou t too of a problem.

Your fuel economy will go up, but it’s based off how do you drive. You’re going to have more power but if you stay out of it you’ll get better fuel economy, I got about the same mpg because I drove the truck a little more spiritedly lol

I love it, I have it on my 05 and my dad has it on his O2 that I drove back in high school an I remember we switched from the super chips programer to the smarty I got to say it’s probably the best non-custom tune you can buy for a Cummins.

What all do you have done to your truck? Besides the AFE shift logic and smarty.
Mostly stock, the only mods are an aFe cold air intake, 5 inch MBRP Turbo back exhaust, ATS exhaust manifold, and a BD deep Transmission pan.
