Thanks also to Todd, Will and the gang who worked so hard to make sure that everything was done safely and efficiently for our needs and fun too!
That was terrific to watch. The test drive at the end was the best part. Thanks for going the extra mile and doing the little things that weren’t required like the rear main seal and the oil change. Good stuff.

Sure would be nice to get to make that drive. I'm a 40 yr male with 01 5.9 2500 is my first pick up. Ready to turn her and see what this diesel life is all about. The twin turbo set ups blew my mind.
No downside to tuning. I have fast tunes and a eco tune. Haven’t done much testing but someone else running the same eco tune as me got 25mpg on highway. Obviously don’t want to pull a trailer on that tune, but it’s great for daily driving
I have to ask the question, were you monitoring EGTs? I worked for Cummins in the early 2000s and we stopped providing a warranty because the Dodge/Chrysler exhaust was too restrictive. With the added fuel and air, I can only imagine what the exhaust temps get up to while pulling a heavy load. Your stuff looks solid and the dyno don't lie, but a better flowing muffler at least could help preserve the build.
Wish I had those locking fasteners back on the 90s on my headers on my trucks, either had to change collector or flange gaskets every few months, no matter how many heat and cool down tightenings , or what kind of gaskets I used
Great video I tow a big toy hauler with 07 ram. The tow tunes really help with the egt's. The only thing I would have done is gone to a 2 piece exhaust manifold. The stock one will eventually shrink and crack or break the bolts. Thanx for some great ideas for my truck.
Thank you for this, it is exactly what I am aiming at with my 06 5.9. Knowing that just increasing reliability and drive ability, by way of over the top injectors, turbo, trans, and a decent tune will net me 4 digits in tq where I want it and not lose (dare I say gain) reliability reassures me in my goals. Again. Thank you.
Impressive for tunes! I got EFI live ( CCS Tuning out of Alberta ) on my 06, dyno showed 420hp/870tq on the max effort tune, with 4" straight exhaust and cold air.

This is cool and something my brother might would do with his 06 mega cab. My 05 is a standard trans and runs fine stock. I've never had to down shift on a hill when I was pulling a trailer, but this was fun to watch.
The next one to "Double Your Horsepower" should be a late model 6.7 Cummins. 2018 or newer would be nice and keep all the emissions equipment so it doesn't void a warranty.
