I'm glad everyone stayed calm about her having the Ebola virus, her mother survived and so did the rest of the village. If it hadn't been for the girl and the nurse, many people could have died.
I had an Ebola scare during the 2014 Ebola outbreak, the most serious outbreak on record to date and the only one considered a public health emergency of international concern and a threat to public health in South Australia and Australia. I came into contact with another patient in a hospital emergency department waiting room who developed symptoms consistent with the early stages of Ebola two weeks after returning from a West African country affected by the 2014 Ebola outbreak. One week later I developed symptoms consistent with the early stages of Ebola. It was a false alarm I just had a severe case of the flu which causes similar symptoms to the early stages of Ebola, but it left me so traumatised that in November 2024 more than 8 years after the 2014 Ebola outbreak ended on June 6 2016 I still have sometimes graphic nightmares about it.
Christopher Spaulding these are the types of videos that should be in peoples recommended not some of the extremely stupid wierd and crazy stuff ive found from time to time
I like the little girl, she was so brave and intelligent, she made the right choice, saved parents ,other people and herself,I hope she can have a happy life!
i swear this feels like it could be a whole movie about ebola. The animation is so good and the story really hits hard at the point that i may have cried when i saw this scene 4:52 i just love this video.
I can't imagine how terrifying it would be do have to live through this most recent ebola outbreak. This animation is fantsatic and a great way to educate everyone about the dangers of this terrible disease.
Its actually really happy how the mother was really strong and didnt gave up, it shows how much she doesnt wanna leave her family and that she loves them very much, im also proud of the little girl for forcing her father to get her mother to the center, dont judge their age and looks, judge them by their personality. 💖💖
I know but just think the E bola problem could have been far worse had the girl not convinced her father to take her mother to the treatment center right away not only could have her mother died but her uncle could have died too catching e bola from her mother and other people and a lot of people in the uncle’s village would have died too from Ebola.
Am infection control nurse. this is one of the marvelous and great video. its very difficult to educate people but like this video speaks more than my words.thank for entire team.
This should be shown in my school so people will stop joking about Ebola. It's a sad thing. The animation was great, the story was sad, but it got the point across. 10/10.
@@nurtacimamquluyeva8507 Yea true, As someone who used to joked about covid and now regret my life. That action wasn't cool or quirky. Im so sorry for my past self who used to be that kind of person.
@@nurtacimamquluyeva8507 peaple in my neighbourhood always uses mask and they take it seriously Sad that in other parts of the world peaple dont care about the disease
I can’t stop watching this😭 every year this video pops up and I HAVE to watch it. The accents are so satisfying to hear and the animation and story line is soo good
the scene where the mom got sick scared me so much. I couldn't imagine if one of my parents got sick like that. I'm glad that they had faith and that they came to the realization to bring her to help. I'm happy she survived and thank you for this very amazing video. ❤
Village Chiefs know what they are doing. Or they know who they can turn to for help if they don't know what to do. That little girl was wise to trust the chief of the village. And the courage to stand up to her blood parents in the midst of chaos. It was a great video ...
I'm guessing this is so that they can educate ppl all over the world. In some tribes and villages ppl are stuck in their ways and don't want modern interventions. I hope that this genuinely helped save ppl.
I used to watch this as a kid but now understand the value of this video now, Very great animation and beautiful message, the sadness of the story tells how harsh the world is, amazing
As a daughter to a UN worker I feel scared for my father every day because he is in another country and what if he catches a disease too? but I always believe that he is in good hands
I remembered watching this as a kid and it was very enlightening for me. Now that i'm a teenager I came back here because I forgot what was this again. Thank you so much for creating this video, very helpful and informative.
I remember seeing this some years ago prior to the covid pandemic and it taught me early on that there’s a specific way to wash your hands and avoid illnesses. I feel like this should be taught to everyone even during safe times.
i like it when the video was dark and grey when the Ebola Started but in the end, everything was colored and beautiful. I like the secret meaning in this video and this deserves a like and heart❤
For years I haven’t been sick but now when me and me family moved here I got sick and me dogs died from sickness I understand why you made this video to keep people safe and I like that
One of the best videos I have ever seen in my life. Amazing job. This is very educational and helpful for anyone that wants to know what ebola means or what it does. Thank you for your hard work for putting this together. I'm pretty sure that you spent many days or months on this and this animation. The animation was brilliant. Stay as a optimist!
i'm japanese nursing student, i feel that I have learned a lot from this. I'm praying from the bottom of my heart for the health and happiness of you and your family.
I remember watching this as a kid, being amazed and fascinated by how disease and treatment worked. now, almost 7 years later my dream is to become a nurse.
nurses are so brave, i wouldn't have been able to go in a room full of sick people, they deserve tons of respect
yea
Not just sick people but like 50% death rate and very painful and contaigous
Yep.
Yup
My aunt is nurse
I'm glad everyone stayed calm about her having the Ebola virus, her mother survived and so did the rest of the village. If it hadn't been for the girl and the nurse, many people could have died.
Yes
And if we stopped ebola completely,
We would be prepared for a bigger, more deadlier pandemic.

Save one person, you're a hero, save a thousand, you're a nurse.
Amen 🙏🏻
:)
Nurses are the meta heroes
True
My mum is a nurse🥰
The funeral scene is very powerful, knowing they couldn’t touch their grandfather’s body, but raising their hands as the were touching him.
Wen did this happen????????
Many times throughout history, but recently the outbreak of 2014 was really bad in West Africa.
That makes sense
I get it he's in the sky
Fly high gramps❤️
The animation for this is incredible
Josh otusanya 👁👄👁

Nurses save the day,They deserve a lot of respect.
You're right
Yes they do!
yup
Exactly, its sad that they don’t though. My mum wanted to be a doctor, but she had to be a nurse for my brother.
Yes and usually the doctors get credit
Media like this should always get first pick of funding and distribution, especially in areas and countries where this is a big problem.
Christopher Spaulding is this in trinidad

I admire the strength of the girl, she saved the whole village, after the nurse of course!
