I would love a video on your protein packed energy balls!! I think that’s what you called them 🤔 I will be trying bone broth now, thanks! I Love all your videos! ❤
Yay! Okay, order up! ❤️
The Ninja Creami is on sale right now at Sam's for $40 off!
This is an AMAZING sale! I’ll have to look into it!
I love a green smoothie in the morning. A handful of spinach or kale, 1/4 c frozen blueberries, 1/4 c frozen cherries, 2 Tbsp hemp hearts (10g protein) 1 c soy milk (9g protein)
Hemp hearts is a new one for me! What do they taste like?
Still waiting for my surgery date so I busy myself with learning everything I can before hand. Thank you!
I love your gold letter board. Where did you find it?
Be blessed,
Cheryl
Hey Cheryl! Thank you for being here! The letter board was a gift from a student a long time ago. I love it and I’m glad you do too!
I love your content. It is so helpful to me. I’ve been following you for years now. I appreciate you!
This is so nice! Thank you! I’m glad you’re here 🩷
I will eat pepper jack cheese sticks. I generally eat 2 so that I get 10g of protein. For a sweet taste, I make fluff. It’s a container of cottage cheese, sugar free jello, and a tub of sugar free whipped cream. All of that goes in the blender, then I have a tasty snack all week. I eat about a cup of it at a time. It’s 20g of protein.
Wow, these are awesome ideas Rach! Thank you!
I’m having vsg surgery next month. Glad I found this channel.
Awe thank you! I’m so glad you’re here 🩷
Thank you for this video. The bone broth is just bone broth and collagen? No other protein or protein powders?
Nope. Just these two ingredients!
Thanks Chels, we live in the same town, and I know your mom. Happy Mother's Day to you and your mom. I'm seven weeks post-op and I enjoy your videos.
No way! Everyone knows Debbie 🤣 congratulations on your post op and I hope we get to run into each other someday!
For a weekend breakfast 'treat', I like to make protein pancakes. Option 1: mix a scoop of protein powder or meal replacement powder (I use chocolate), 1 egg, 1T milk, 1t vanilla, 1/2t baking powder, 1/2t coconut sugar, dash cinnamon & salt. Option 2: mix 1/4c cottage cheese, 1/4c oats (I use GF Bob's Mill), 1 egg, 1t vanilla, 1/2t coconut sugar, dash cinnamon & salt - blend this for 30seconds. Both options make 2 good sized pancakes. Batter is thinner than traditional so takes some getting used to. Then I top with sugar free syrup.
This sounds amazing! I’m going to try both!
where did you get that sweater?
Which one? What does it look like?
I am on my preop journey and am struggling to find items that do not have artificial sweeteners such as surculose, acesulfame, aspartame because they trigger migraines. I am worried about my clear and full liquid intake and finding a protein shake I can use. Any ideas?
I think Promix uses natural ingredients but it’s protein powder, not premade. Transparent Labs is the same. I’m so sorry! It could be that you made huge batches and freeze them?
I think orgain protein powder is all good ingredients and not the stuff you mentioned
I am definitely a profee drinker in the morning. I will order shots of espresso from Starbucks and then fill a cup at work with ice, the espresso and a vanilla Fairlife shake. Fairlife brand is my favorite, chocolate is easy to find, but I prefer vanilla which is really getting expensive. Some other ideas are pickle roll ups, I get tuna fish kits, and I made a caprese salad for this week with garbanzo beans and mozzarella.
A PICKLE ROLL UP is my love language! Great suggestions! Thank you!
I always have for breakfast after gym, 1 egg with 1 tablespoon cheddar cheese, 1/4 avocado and salsa on an egg life wrap. Sooo good!!
That sounds DELIGHTFUL!
The wrap sounds interesting

Yay! Thank you for being here! ❤️
Thx Chels ❤ your so helpful ! Appreciate u lady
You are so welcome!
This was a very helpful video and I can't wait to try using Chat GPT for recipe ideas! I use it all the time, but never thought if it for that! I bought the Ninja Creami about 2 weeks ago, it seriously is a game changer. It's nice to have that as a treat sometimes instead of sugar free pudding. I bought it at Kohls when they were having a sale and then also used Kohls cash so it wasn't quite such a hit to the wallet. I finally have a surgery date, June 11th!!
YES AMY! This is so exciting! This will be perfect for the summer - GOOD FIND! I love the tip on how to get it for less, too. I’m so happy for you ❤️
Thank you for all these ideas. I am about six weeks postop now and eating and drinking has been a struggle are used to be really hungry in the mornings now I don’t care to eat at all and drinking cold beverages has been a challenge. I’m gonna give some tips a try, but please keep them coming.
Will do! Try keeping your beverages at room temp if you can. That might help you get them down a little more easily.
1 week post-op! Thanks! Perfect timing!!!
Oh wow, that’s amazing timing! Congratulations on your new post op life ❤️
Thank you
