I have tried all diets but three years ago i started a calorie controlled diet lost 3 stone kept it off now for two years i am 79 years old changed my life got rid of all my fat clothes bought lots of new feel so much better
My favourite low calorie snacks: crumpet thins 61 calories each topped with Laughing Cow Light at 29 calories each, also Alpro soya yoghurts (you wouldn't know, so yummy!) a pack of four - 2 blueberry, 2 cherry - 70 calories each. These are always in my fridge :) I'm a bit put off the jellies due to the aspartame content. Thanks for great ideas, new viewer here! I've lost 16lbs since May. Yes, totally got to be calories in, calories out. I use Cronometer (free app) to work out my calories and to track what I'm eating. It's brilliant. Calcium (I have osteoporosis) is important to me too so it shows me if I'm having enough from my food. All the best with your eating plans everyone!
I can’t thank you enough for this video. I’ve put on 5 stone since having my kids and I’ve lost my way and food is just so overwhelming. I can’t sting a meal together for myself if I was at gun point. Watching this has calmed my head and made me think I can do it. Thank you so much. Anymore you can do on meals. Health dips and the salad jars would be so appreciated. Also massive 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 for showing Aldi snacks. So much more relatable than. M&S and Waitrose x
Hi, after watching your weight loss journey, I have now lost 1 and half stone, through fasting and walking. Oh my isnt it great when you can see the weight coming off when you put your clothes on and your face. Another 2 stone to go, hopefully another 1 stone off by January.
I’m sure you looked amazing before the weight loss but I just wanted to say you should be so proud of yourself for the weight loss and the healthy lifestyle you look and are amazing ❤
I cook my whole chicken in the cooking bags. Comes out tender and moist, no added fat. Just season and put in the bags, on a cooking tray. I also cook a couple of chicken breasts the same way, slice and keep in a container for salads, sandwiches etc. Much better than buying the packaged slices of chicken.
For me keeping the weight off for 14 years now it has been low sugar low fat but lots of fruit, veg, fat free meat or less than 5% fat mince. Loads of rice and potatoes. Not much bread very simple to follow but the most important thing is the need to keep same way of eating when you have reached your target weight. A treat now and again is ok, I particularly find meringues good for a sweet tooth as they are not too calorific.
Hi i have never seen you before but I just wanted to say how blooming refreshing to see foods selected that cover both savoury and sweet....I am definitely savoury. It was also great to see foods that are at a readily available supermarket and well priced. The putting a Chicken in Oven mid week is a all time trick of mine as with minimal effort you have salad protein, baked, tattie filling, sandwich filling, a just nibble bit of protein, pasta base and can make stock from bones for home made soup with those odd veg in fridge and last of chicken....it is so versatile. Oh the coffee I went from milky 2 sugars 2 black no sugar heck it was hard but i do not like fizzy drinks so for me it was like it or be in a pickle. Living up in Scotland on North Sea Coast biting cold was going to say Winters but this year all year i do half a stock cube in 250ml water with extra pepper or sorinkle chilli as a alternative warm drink that is amazingly filling....might be worth a try for you 🥰💜
Use vinegar to clean your egg boiler. Pour in about 1/4 cup and let it soak for about 10 mins. I then use arag or papertowel to wipe that out and a wet rag/papertowel with water to remove the residue. Ours looks brand-new, I use this method once a week and put the plastic egg-holder into the dish washer.
Ok,are you actually from Dudley? I am a Kingswinford girl, who lives now in Canada, but have LOVED hearing your accent and seeing all the Aldi shots, and all the English things that make me reminisce my home. Well done on your weight loss and healthy life, very inspiring!!
Hi my lovely! Yes so my surname is Dudley and I am indeed from Dudley. Aww yes I know kingswinford well- not far from me at all. Oh wow! What made you love to Canada , that’s so incredible. I’m so glad it reminded you of your home- that’s so nice. Thank you so much xxxx
Hi I buy sugar free jelly sachets make it up leave to cool and add half a pot of fat free yoghurt mix it together and leave in fridge comes out like a blamanche.
Well done on your weight loss, Juliette😊. There are some great tips here for anyone looking to lose weight. I hope it hasn't become all consuming for you though! Life is too short to be constantly calorie counting or wearing yourself out finding time to exercise etc😊. Aldi is absolutely fantastic especially that cola.
Great ideas 👍🏻 definitely going to purchase egg cooker now. Would love to see video on salad jar prep. How long do they stay fresh? Thanks for all your content, you look amazing 🤩
Hi there 👋 a nice video, helpful 👏👏👏 random unrelated question ….your lovely kitchen work top, may I ask, how old is it and have you had to re - oil it? If yes, what did you use? Thanks in advance …best wishes Cathy 🤗
Hi Cathy. Thank you so much. I think It’s about 4 years old now I want to say. I did a video on TH-cam where we did our kitchen ourselves on a budget. Not sure if I showed the can on that but it’s a danish oil we got from the company we bought the worktop from called worktop express. It’s desperately in need of a sand down and oil actually as we haven’t done it in 2 years but it’s only because I can notice- no one else probably would. we did it once a year for the first 2 years which is ideal but it’s just that the weather has been so bad and it’s one of those jobs you need to keep all the windows and doors open as it really does smell! I hope that helps! Xxx
@@BeingMrsDudley thanks ☺️ I speeded through and can see you painting something on the work top but sadly it’s facing sideways on 🤣🤣🤣 so I can’t read it ….if you come across it in your travels I’d love to know what it is….thanks again 🤗
A nice black coffee in the morning is just the thing for me…I allow myself one milky one but I’m quite enjoying my black coffees now. I have about 20kg to lose 😮 Getting there gradually by counting calories, weighing my food and exercising. 😅
Hi I also buy hello fresh three times a week but your video has helped greatly I’m trying to loose weight but I carnt exercise as iv got fibromyalgia which makes my legs so pain full it’s hard to work..I love your videos ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Juliette, it would be nice to see you cooking a few some of the Hello Fresh meals, I have a serious cheese and yogurt allergy and finding meal ideas that don’t contain. I also have gastro issue that is in a flareup so finding flavour high protein food because I’m eating half a ready meal with egg fried rice a day and that’s it. I’m pushing myself to drink a couple of milky coffers during the day. I have been in hospital recently initially just for blood transfusions but I could not eat anything for 12 days because of the flare up and feeling poorly I got sepsis. I don’t want to keep on the ready meals because they are not good for you and contain loads of salt and usually have red markers on them.
Hi lovely as you know I followed all the way through .I seen you struggle with your weight .I just want to say I need help I don't feel confident in my body wondering if you could write me a meal plan on what you eat stuff breakfast lunch dinner regards sally you look amazing ❤❤❤❤
Hi sally. I’m so so sorry to hear this. Do you have IG. If so send me a DM. If not my email me and I will see how I can help xxx Juliette.mills@hotmail.com xxxx
Oh that’s a shame Maggie. Is it all sweeteners? Wonder if it’s a specific type? That must be frustrating for you sometimes as there are so many foods with sweeteners in these days xxx
Not really- just becomes second nature knowing what’s in stuff I don’t even have to really count as such now -I pretty much intuitively eat. I feel Knowing what’s in your food is important and educational. Let me ask… before taking medication do you read the packet? Or do you just put anything in your body without looking? IMO food shouldn’t be any different especially these days. Also Eating what I want when I want but also being in control is the most amazing feeling after having such a poor relationship with food since my teens although I’m not sure if you’ve followed me for long enough to know my history with food . Constantly feeling fat and sluggish and constantly being in a starve binge cycle with a poor relationship with food is far worse in my opinion. being the healthiest version of myself means hopefully I get to live my Boring life much longer too! 🙌🏼😂 xxx thanks for watching!
@melanieelliott8146 you seem very triggered by @BeingMrsDudleys videos. I can see this isn't the first negative message you've left her regarding her recent weight loss.
