I like the Magic Whiteboard sheets because they are so easy to use and so flexible since you can literally put them up anywhere that has a flat surface or wall.
I recommend anyone, before during or after their CELTA course, to have a go at teaching in some shape or form and, if you cannot find anyone who will let you teach a group of people, you can simply use something like this and record yourself on your smartphone.
Using this kind of whiteboard on your wall for teaching from home also then gives you a chance to record yourself on a smartphone and practice using a whiteboard. Although you can use technology in your lessons on a CELTA course, you will still need to be able to use a whiteboard and your boardwork will be commented on.
I also like this option because it then allows you to set up something for free like a TH-cam channel to start teaching people immediately. You can also perhaps look into making some kind of course or other materials based on these videos. If you want to take it to the next level, you can even start to make money from these videos if you do it in the right way.
Whatever your reason for trying this, I'm sure you'll get a lot out of it and will enjoy the idea of teaching in this minimalist and simple way from your home or anywhere else for that matter!
