    I'm tall and I'm glad that this bike is tall as well. If you are shorter than you get a smaller bike, right?

    For practical reasons, i bought the 1200 GT PRO. So far, it is proving to be a good fit, however, i do need to revise my mounting, and off mounting skills. Same goes, for cornering and braking. That's a ME thing though, so the only issue i have found with the bike so far, is buffeting at high speeds. Personally, i've had over 40 years riding, mainly trail bikes, and sports tourers. As you pointed out, this is a very forgiving machine. Don't have to tell you, that if you can get your head around all the tech, lower your seat, if your nervous or short, get out and practice, the let the good times roll, on this wonderful machine.

    The bike whose weight must never be mentioned. Everybody says it's 25 kg lighter than it used to be.
    But, the old one weighed the same as a 747 full of elephants.

    Nice review!
    How about the engine vibes in the handlebar on motorway speed?

    • @Art-kz6zf
      @Art-kz6zf ปีที่แล้ว

      Triumph likes to demo this bike on gravel roads just for this reason. The vibes are very unfortunate feature on motorway speeds.. If it wasn't for those, I would have ordered one of these for myself already.

      @@Art-kz6zf I own the only Triumph Gt Explorer in the USA right now and the vibes at highway speeds are negligible and comparable to my previous Tiger XCX and way better than a BMW Boxer engine. At lower rpm's the bike feels and sounds like a Bonneville until you hit 3500 rpm's. Then the engine lights up and goes.

      @@ttrguy9952 Maybe they are selling a different bike there, since the vibes after hitting 100 mph (Autobahn speeds) are ridiculous here in Europe.. Both me and my wife had numb hands and have never experienced a bike as bad as this one. Really happy yours is not a "slow rider bike" 🙂I have ridden GS's, SA's, Multistradas (love the V4S..) and AT's much faster without any problems.

      Here in the uk I’ve been struggling really badly with vibes 70mph and over to the point my hands are loosing sensation. So disappointing after spending the best part of 20k

      @@Art-kz6zf Mine happens to be smooth as silk on the road at highway speeds. Maybe the Rally version has something different in the geometry that has something to do with the vibration.

    How tall is the seat height and perhaps more importantly, how long are Dons (and your), legs? That would provide some context/perspective. But l can see his legs are too short for that seat height. My legs at 34" regular, are almost too short for my R1150GS. Oh for a few more inches, 😂🤣😃😁😅😆
