Hi Madam...Recently happened to see your channel..Loved the contents of your videos...very informative and useful....will try this roti recipe. Thank you. Regards , Lakshmi
Yes mam....today i tried bhajra chapathi ...with 3 cups water and 3 cups flour..with boiling water....it was total disaster....😭😭.....it became fully sticky...and to balance tht i added wheat flour still cudn get the right shape and i gave up and i had to throw it...at last made dosa and had with channa curry.... Then today night...i made makai aata chapathi...but i added wheat flour and got the right shape... in fear of wastage... Hopefully tomorrow will try with just 1 cup...aata...as trial....following the exact way you did...😊😊
Namaste. Yes,try the exact way that I have demonstrated. You will definitely get the chapattis soft. With millet flour, you need not add wheat flour. Regards Sujata from Munch and Mull 🙏🙏
Awesome tip, ma’am.. I have faced the same challenges when I tried making other millet rotis like Jowar and Bajri, probably because of the lack of gluten. Rotis breaking up while rolling, ragged edges and with a brick-like texture finally :D I’ll try out your method. Glad to see a palatable version of such a healthy recipe!

Namaste Tarunji. You could definitely give it a try, with hot Chena water. I have not tried it. But worth a try. The important aspect is to.use the correct proportion of water and it has to be hot. Try with half cup ragi flour by mixing it with half cup hot Chena water. I have used Chena water to bind my wheat atta. Regards Sujata from Munch and Mull 😊🙏

What is the difference between normal ragi flour and sprouted ragi flour? I live in pakistan and ragi flour is not available in pakistan I have to buy online but there are many brands Nature vibe, urban platter , proganic can you tell me which brand ragi flour I should buy?
Namaste. Ragi is called finger millet in English. Basically when ragi is soaked, water is drained and then when these are sun-dried or shade dried on a piece of cotton cloth, they tend to sprout. Then these sprouted ragi is lightly roasted and then powdered. Nutrient value of sprouted flour is much more. But sprouted ragi flour may not be commonly available online. In that case, you could buy plain ragi flour. Being in India,i source my organic sprouted finger millet flour from Biobasics,an organic store that delivers, online within India. Regarding the brands available online,it's best you consult somebody in your vicinity who could guide you. I am not familiar with the branda that you have mentioned. Regards, Sujata from Munch and Mull 🙏
Chapati's edges can be made smooth by shaping it with tiffin box lid ie by pressing it with the sharp edge lid.. only the last chapati's edges will be uneven ❤️
A better option is to have unpolished grains like brown rice and millets on alternate days. Millets like kodomillet, barnyard millet, little millet are very healthy. You can have millet on alternate days. Other nin millet days, have brown rice. Have Himalayan pink Salt as it's rich in iodine. Can suggest an Ayurvedic wellness supplement to improve thyroid function. If you wish to know, you could mail me at munchandmull@gmail.com with your fone number. Regards Sujata from Munch and Mull 🙏
Namaste. If you sweeten the ragi porridge, then glycemic index will go up. In general Ragi is good. So do not get overtly bothered by glycemic index. A good fibre rich balanced diet coupled with good physical activity is good for health. Regards Sujata from Munch and Mull.😊😊🙏🙏
Namaste Parveen. I am planning to try the same method soon with jowar and bajra flour. If you try it before me,do let me know the outcome. I guess it should work. 😊😊🙏🙏. Regards Sujata from Munch and Mull

Can we prepare this ragi roti dough in hot leftover paneer/chena water ?
Namaste Tarunji. You could definitely give it a try, with hot Chena water. I have not tried it. But worth a try. The important aspect is to.use the correct proportion of water and it has to be hot. Try with half cup ragi flour by mixing it with half cup hot Chena water. I have used Chena water to bind my wheat atta. Regards Sujata from Munch and Mull 😊🙏
Thank you ma'am, will try

Chapati's edges can be made smooth by shaping it with tiffin box lid ie by pressing it with the sharp edge lid.. only the last chapati's edges will be uneven ❤️

Namaste mam, I have hypothyroid n adviced to avoid millets .I have jowar RTI n add two sps of ragi. Pl. Advice.

Mam I did it very well.somebody says ragi porridge is more glycemic index value than ragi roti, is it true? Pl answer
