A young friend received a heart and wanted to meet the donor's survivors. Their only child passed from a brain aneurysm, and their child's heart saved his life. So, he adopted the donor's parents and they are now a part of his life. His close acquaintances tell how much he changed after receiving the new heart.

I can relate to this. I've lost 2 significant others to AIDS and was hit by a car on my bicycle when he ran a red light. Waved to me as he drove off when he saw me get up.

That was incredible! Finally someone dove deeper and showed all sides of organ donation. You couldn’t help but feel the heartbreak on one side and the hopes and dreams on the other side. Everyone should watch this whether your an organ donor or not. I wish it had been longer.. but regardless.. life changing. I’m going online and becoming an organ donor right now. After seeing this… you made the decision easy. Well done from beginning to end! Actors were incredible. Every part of this film was incredible. Thank you for making this film. This film takes your feeling on a wild roller coaster ride. Kleenex should sponsor this film!

Reminds me of this movie in 2005. The husband was a doctor who never had time for his wife, then she died in a car accident. He became a paramedic and a few yesrs later, he found out that his dead wife's heart had been transplanted to another woman without his consent. He found out that the woman's husband had left her, and more surprisingly, they look exactly the same. Maybe it was to heal him or both of them, but he impersonated her husband and got close to the woman, celebrating every holiday he never got to spend with his dead wife in a week or so. But then the woman's heart started failing. She tried to have another surgery, but it didn't go well. In the end, she waited on her deathbed until her real husband came back to spend her last moments together. In the end, it turns out she knew the man wasn't her husband all along and left him a letter to thank him for everything he'd done for her in her husband's place and told him to move on as his wife would have wanted him to. It was sad and very touching.
Shocking that the motorist didn't stop to see if the cyclist was OK. In European countries it's a crime not stop to and render aid when you even see someone injured, whether you were in any way involved or not. Is there no such law in the US?

We did extensive research with oncologist medical professionals when crafting this story to make it as true to life as possible and there are cases where cancer patients, depending on type of cancer and treatments where their organs and heart can still be viable and donated. Also, according to MidAmerica Transplant: Whether or not a person has a history of cancer, each organ or tissue donation is carefully reviewed by a team of medical professionals at the time of death. Biopsies are performed on any unexpected findings, and decisions are made on a case-by-case basis as part of a rigorous screening process.
I agree. Usually someone needs to be cancer-free for years before donation. But if, for example, the cancer is a primary brain tumor with low risk of spreading outside the central nervous system, it might be possible? I'm curious why the screenwriter wanted to portray such a rare situation. It felt a little awkward to me. Maybe they had deeply personal reasons?
Well, that was... awkward. Isn't organ donation anonymous for this very reason? Also sentiments aside, a heart is just a piece of meat. What a person is is primarily in their brain.
A man here in the UK cycled the lenth of the country to raise money for a heart transplant charity. When he reached his destination he met a young woman who was there to let him listen to his daughters hesrt beating in her chest. I watched and wept as he wept too. And i wept at this little film.
