YES!!! A Fantastic Story with a Great Ending, told in under 7 minutes. This is what I'm talkin' 'bout, hehe. I loved the Positive, Inspirational Ending. That is quite unique in this genre, indeed. You all nailed it, and I'm a New Subscriber. And the set design and wardrobes are on-point. I'm a 1975 child and really enjoyed this and looking forward to more. 10/10 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Think of the ages that have gone by with men & women who were and even today are still forced to live a lie. It's heart breaking ! Harder yet are when children are involved. The basic of our existence is we all want love, to be loved, to love others and Yet, it's a messed up world. Fear is a major problem for most and empty lives are lived with all too much regret....If only we lived in a more loving world instead of one that is growing more cold everyday....

Was the boom operator on this sick short. Shoutout to Espen the lead actor, JOLO the sound mixer, the two writers of this short, and of course all the beans we ate. Fun times were had by all. Funny final product.

I remember LOVING this film when I saw it at Louisiana Film Prize. Even better on another viewing. Awesome story, very engaging and well told thru all characters. Not a flaw in this film, IMO.

Hi! I’m the director of the film. I’m seeing some comments so I want to clear some things up. The film is neither an endorsement or demonizing the church. I wanted to make a film that was comedic and heartfelt in this environment that is so often portrayed as doom and gloom. Here’s my full director’s statement. A good portion of my childhood was spent in church camps, both as a camper and as a counselor. Like many LGBTQ youth, I struggled with being bisexual while also being involved in church life and enjoying the community that came from church. It was important to me to tell a story about a bisexual male protagonist as it's not a community that's depicted as often, and what better time to release the film online than bisexuality visibility week. I also wanted to do a story about church and sexuality that was comedic in nature, as many LGBTQ stories feature trauma and drama in the forefront of their depictions of queer people. Church camps, with their sometimes silly activities and traditions, make them a ripe place for comedy, and most of this film stems from the real experiences I had in a Georgia church camp (even a full-sized Jesus made of bread.) I hope that all churches become a safe place for LGBTQ youth and that people can laugh at the quirky church-isms that graced their childhoods by watching this film.

Hilarious and such interesting commentary on where we learn how to talk to each other. I think this film is going to spark a lot of interesting conversations.

Are there really religious indoctrination camps for young people like this in the U.S.? I hope they spend a good amount of time repenting for the suffering/heartache/loneliness/horror their religion has caused to gay people over the last 2 thousand years. Or how about spending that time learning how to think instead of what to think? Talking to real people instead of an invisible sky wizard? Addressing problems instead of praying for them to go away?

That was solid! Well produced, great acting, and (seriously) a good message. Great work!
