I found these tips, tricks and sample test practice to be very helpful as I had never done a PI Cognitive test before - and I was asked to do one by a prospective employer. One suggestion I would offer is to be careful as you move through the questions quickly not to accidentally hit the "Complete" button. In my haste to move through the test quickly I did not realize I had gone through all 50 questions - and since the "next" button is purple and so is the "complete" button - as I got in the habit of hitting "next" to quickly move through I inadvertently hit "complete". I was very upset because my strategy was to go through and answer as many questions as I knew the answers to and then, if I had time, to go back and answer some of those I had skipped over. I'm certain there was time left since the test did not shut me down, how much time I'm not sure, probably not much, but still I may have been able to slip in one or two more correct answers with the time left which could make the difference between moving forward in the interview process or not. I'll have to wait and see how it goes......
The question regarding the western sales region: Shouldn’t the answer be INCORRECT because we know south and east were created 5 years ago so both regions are 5 years old. We also know western region is older than eastern. So southern region cannot be the oldest of all three.
The issue is that we know it was split 5 years ago.. not sure if we can conclude it was created 5 years ago as well... I understand your point as you are using split as point of creation.. while I am assuming the south and east did exist but were just together... hence my choice...
Your videos are helpful Bahroz! So what scores do you normally get? You seem like you would do very well every time! BTW, there is a typo for the correct answer "Apatehtic", which is for the question of "Which of the following is opposite of the word "Motivated"?
For Question 3 I got "Cannot be determined". My reasoning is that it is possible all the D items are yellow. They could be yellow or blue but it's possible they're all yellow.
I got incorrect on Question 5. If the Southeastern Region was split into two regions then the Southern and Eastern Regions are the same age therfore the Southern Region cannot be the oldest.
I see your point… but I would lean on the fact that it says “d are always yellow or same color as x” I am not assuming that d has only yellow items.. so at any given point in time we cannot assume d is only yellow…
I have a doubt in question no. 19, as it seems to me that the answer should be “INCORRECT”, the conclusion addressed that directors can work on the 10th floor, and the premises showed us that Directors can only work on the 12th or 11th floor. It doesn’t matter the type of Director, “engineering, commercial, financial, etc.
It doesn’t say directors can only work on 11th and 12th… it says some work on 11th some work on 12th… and some can very well work on 10th as well.. hence cannot be determined
Question 2 answer is wrong. 30 miles in 60 mins is 1 mile in 1/2 minute. so 12 miles in 6 minutes. time is 7:10 + 6 = 7:16 Answer C Still very useful having these on video to practice with, Thank you.

Best of luck and keep me posted..
Why didn’t you go back to the questions for which you didn’t give and answer since you had time on you…?

at 6:36, 1 - 0.5 + 0.4 != 0.9 it should be like 1 - ( 0.5 + 0.4 ) = 0.1 so C is the lowest.
Why are you adding brackets ?
Big thank you Sir from Oman
Glad you found it useful
As per the rule of BODMAS, I got question 7 answer 0.1 which is C
C is 1-0.5+0.4 which is = 0.9 and not 0.1

Hi NO the Answer is B that is 7:34.... Here is how... 30miles in 60mins is 1 mile every 2 mins... for 12miles we will multiply 12 by 2 which is 24...
We know the formula time=distance/speed
so time = 12/30 = 0.4h. Now change in to min = 0.4*60 = 24 = 7:10+24 = 7:34. This the answer.
It's 1 mile every 2 minutes.
