    I have been thru P&G interview process, this introduction is superb for P&G but being working in O&G sector some people don’t like you to discuss your personal life in introduction and want to be just around job stuff. I am also born in Quetta but some people have their own mindset during interview and they make take it as negative.
    But if i had seen this introduction before my P&G interview i would have conquered it.

    • @bahroz
      @bahroz  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yup you do need to dial it up or down… but can’t skip sharing any personal thing at all… even in a totally work focused interview it’s critical to take 20sec to talk about your personal side.. hobbies passion kids family etc

    I like your videos, they are very helpful. However, this time I am not agreeing with taking 5 mins introducing yourself, I would go for 1 min max.

    • @bahroz
      @bahroz  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks… we can agree to disagree to that… it’s the most important part of the interview especially given it comes in the beginning… 1 min is too less for that… nevertheless if it worked for you, then you should stick to it….

      instance : the interview with the Pak Lady, I left a quarter watch time, I'll not return to that video.
      she use the second person pronoun instead of the first person singular or plural, that art of public speaking affected the viewers like you and us who don't get involved. that video might be useful to those who are not sensitive about soft skills.

    Hey! That's a beautiful video. I got one doubt and you are the best person to resolve it. Actually, I am a college student and placed but I've applied for an off-campus company. So how should I keep this thing in my introduction? I mean should I include why I am leaving the last company and applying to another?

    • @bahroz
      @bahroz  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi thanks for reaching out… I don’t see any need for you to justify or explain why are you leaving the current job/organization…. Except if asked you can talk about why you want to join the organization you are interviewing for, which should be a case enough to justify the move..

      Hi sagar thanks for reaching out…
      The same rules apply for fresher as well..
      that is tell a story a personal story that would be about your journey through school and college… plus add in hobbies and achievements..
      Yes keep it at 3 mins (max 5 mins)….

    My current company notice period is 90 days , does P&G will consider it or not?

    • @bahroz
      @bahroz  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi thanks for reaching out…yes 90 days is mostly ok with p&g

  • @SaadAli-ig5qn
    @SaadAli-ig5qn ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What if the new employer wants you earlier than 60 days which is the notice period of your current company. How to convince the new employer or should we leave the current company before serving the entire notice period (let's say 30 days) and sacrifice a portion of the provident fund!
    Need your advice on this.

    • @bahroz
      @bahroz  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Saad thanks for reaching out… I guess here it’s best you run the math first….
      What is the salary gain from new job vs the old job and does the salary gain over let’s say 3-6 months makes up for the loss of/in provident fund, I would not go beyond 6 months.
      Second would seek help from current employer to release you early. As they may rather let you go early given you are not committed to them any more and may not work at full capacity….
      One not so ethical way (and hence not the most recommended one) is to claim that you are joint competition if you say so they will and should release you immediately…
      Lastly see if you can convince the new employer to pay for the loss in provident fund by joining them early..
