Today I am taking you all with me to the Long Beach flea market and I realized I haven't been here since the summer of 2021 which is crazy!! Honestly I totally forgot how massive it was so definitely bring your water and snacks if you go! I was mainly trying to thrift things that I've kind of had on my thrift wish list for awhile and I don't know how, but I thrifted so many amazing gems! Basically DREAM wardrobe pieces 🙆🏼♀️

TOTALLY WORTH $50 ALEXA!!!!!!! It's exquisite! The most I ever paid for a thrifted item was $30 (also a leather jacket, natch--and this was back when thrifting was CHEAP) and I remember hemming and hawing in the thrift before buying it, but it is my very favorite thing ever. I hope you love yours forever!
I would be WAY too overwhelmed trying to shop somewhere like this in person, but I love seeing it in videos. Thanks so much for making this experience possible for me, even just vicariously. ^.^
I think I'm spoiled by my local thrift store. I never pay more than $8 per piece of clothing. Most things I get are $1!

yeah, $25 for a used t-shirt is outrageous. I think double digit prices at thrift stores are a stretch, but I do understand prices will increase. It was 20 years ago that I got things for a couple bucks.
You’re so lucky. The cheapest clothing piece I’ve ever seen was 3 dollars and it was a Walmart brand. The clothes I get are usually between 5-10 dollars.

This isnt a thrift store love. Its a flea market where you buy from individual ppl not a store. They paid more to get these clothes its like a vintage shop, thrift stores get clothes for free that why it’s usually chesp
@Casswash Wash Very true, i was a teenager the last time I went to a flea market in California and we never paid more than a dollar for used clothes. That was in the early 2000's lol. I'm going to have to count myself lucky because I have the time to go to thrift shops and find great vintage items at such a low price.

Great finds. You can also wear a basic sleeveless cotton stretch dress under a sheer dress. Love that Karina and Carrie came along with you

My favourites are the cat 🐱 t-shirt for home and the patchwork leather jacket for going out.
This is such a thrift heaven. The pieces are also sooo cute. It feels like the kind of place you can only visit with friends, kinda wishing I had friends to go to places like that with 😅💗

I absolutely love it and it’s one of my favorite pieces of clothing! She creates beautiful clothing. I don’t live in California so I was so excited to her at flea market in your video!

I got a vintage black leather jacket on Depop for a similar price 30+15 shipping it was worth it sometimes real leather jackets are a staple in the wardrobe it’s worth it

The pink is the top to what was called a babydoll nightgown. Originally it would have had a pair of frilly panties.

I watch another video from Carrie (now I see she had the wagon) on this outing and I hope that you found a few items to take home with you because that big box of jackets you guys was going ham on digging thru and Carrie did not end up buying anything from there. 2:16 see Carrie sconces she took home. Black dress at 3:48 had such Wednesday's details, it a shame you did not get it. Hmmm would not have known if you had not mention it and still after the fact don't see it, I like the black top better on you than the white. These are going to be interchangeable during those hot summer nights. The pink PJ top probably part of what they called a "baby doll pajama" set and it would have bloomer bottoms, it was really popular, and my mom even had sets of them for me and my older sister to sleep in as kids. It was weird to see grown women wearing them on old movies, but I guess that also was considered a sexy nighty. Glad that you got the leather patchwork blazer because $50 a good price because they would probably be asking more on resale sites because of the fees that have to be covered and any way it not a type of jacket you come across while thrifting.
