Hello guys! Just a quick revisit to Outer Heaven💀 before I start working on MG2 🫡 I've updated a lot of the art to make Snake and other characters more consistent throughout particularly in the prologue, chapter 1 and chapter 2, I've fixed a lot of sound issues and also added brand new animations. All in one package for your convenience 👍👍Let's consider this Version 1.0. So if you've seen the series already and fancied a rewatch, then I highly recommend this as it is now the definitive version to watch! I want to again thank everyone for the support, whether you enjoy my Tekken series, Metal Gear or anything else I end up working on. I appreciate all of you 👊🔥 See you in the next one! ⚡⚡
Hello My brother, you are creative. Thank you for everything you offer. By the way, I was excited when I saw your notification. I thought that you had posted the second part of the Metal Gear story, but at the same time, I was happy when I read your comment and you said that it had been updated and had become better than before. Finally, thank you for your effort and I am sorry for the length.😊❤
Yes, yes, YES! A thousand times, yesssssss!... I know I'm 100% in the minority but I'm actually anticipating your Metal Gear 2 series more than MGS Delta.
This is on par with Kojima himself, incredibly well written and well directed. Loresmith handed Konami the perfect outline for a MG adaptation/remaster. I hope they contact him and give him a sweet ass deal, because I want this canon
This is seriously one of the best things I've watched not only on TH-cam, but on the internet as well. The build up and the fight between Solid and Venom never fails to give me goosebumps. And Snake's flashback while he was under Big Boss' training... is pure bliss. Fantastic work! Can't wait to see the fistfight between Snake and Gray Fox on a minefield.
Me neither, thats why I'm gonna watch this now th-cam.com/video/uTSD26CZEJo/w-d-xo.html XD btw this is the beginning of my beautiful journey through Metal Gear Saga ;) Never played and never will... but at least I'll watch the story :)
The parallels to the naked snake finding out the boss is defecting on the bridge. To solid snake finding out big boss is a traitor in the hanger of outer heaven. Brilliant.
This is definitely the *DEFINITIVE* version. Every animation has been updated with love & care. Even the little details like the credit names in parenthesis are better descriptive. Snake looks a lot smoother. Gray Fox looks more consistent with his imagery. Schneider no longer looks like he starts as a child with baby face hair and ends with a beard & long pony tail, lol. Shotmaker's fight was amazing with the new animations. I could go on and on.... Bless you for giving us this experience. Like the others said, I eagerly wait for MG2. Your writing and interpretation is my head canon MGS.
This was nothing short of amazing . The old and new sound effects, the idroid reference, telling Snake to turn TH-cam off since it’s an animation and not a game. Brilliant. Truly hope you continue this series.
Loresmith the small improvements here make the whole thing even better. It is cool to have all parts together. Once more I look forward to seeing you in Zanzibar Land along with your other projects. Keep up the great work
Loresmith, I was totally satisfied with the original episodes, but now, I can see myself watching this over and over again. The best compliment I can give: We have no remake, but this is just as great.
I'm waiting to see the events in Zanzibar. With this, I can see this been made as a long movie of the whole first Metal Gear game. It's also this that got me into and know you, able to see an old classic game been made into a visual animated-esque series with 90s designs. This is going to be enjoyable and a treat for the Metal Gear fans.
Thank you for the kind words bro. This took roughly 8 months or so to make overall, it was definitely a labour of love for the fans of the series, like a refreshing and expanded take on the events for old fans and something for the newer fans who didn't know these games existed!
@@TheLoresmithHello, Mr. Loresmith I am here to say Thank you for taking your time to recap the story of the first two Metal Gear game's and recapturing the story itself in an Anime style which in my personal opinion; is a perfect fit for the MGS story. I am truly hyped that not only did recap Metal Gear franchise, but also Tekken and Final Fantasy, too. I can't wait to see the Zanzibarland story and then the rest of the Metal Gear storyline. Thanks again, bro.
They are probably going to jump straight to mgs1 for the movie which likely won't work because there's so much established beforehand. it's technically a sequel. its gonna get written and handled by someone whose never played the games and then flop like many other video game adaptations have. hopefully im wrong. 🤷♂️
I lost it at the MGS1 sound effect for knocking out guards... 😂 But this is truly excellent work all-around. Excitedly looking forward to everything that follows.

Just what I'd expect from the man with the same codename as the Boss!! seriously hats off. I'm going to turn your notifications on just so I don't miss MG2.
Absolutely love what you've done here. The effort put into this is very clear in every aspect, down to music and clever use of sound cues from the games. I appreciate that you went back and improved on various things from older episodes to keep it consistent with the rest of the seires, aswell as fixing some audio and adding new animations to really spice up the scenes. Very much looking forward to whatever comes next.
oh MANN!!! THIS is fucking epic i love this ! seriously this is awesome really i cant wait for mgs 2 ,3 and 4 probably gonna take a shit load of time but sign me up this is very well done !
I am actually crying for how beautifully this was put together and voiced them moment venom and Solid fought I was hit by an overwhelming cast of emotions as I long time super fan of Metal Gear thank you for this and I am truly looking forward to Zanzibar Land .
The Metal Gear universe is my favorite IP. As a longtime fan of the series (that played all the games when they came out), you did an outstanding job putting the narrative together. You added real nuance to Venom Snake, which made me appreciate him a lot more. Extra credit points for tying Phantom Pain and Metal Gear better than Kojima ever could. There was one plot hole from the series that always bugged me. It was never revealed why Big Boss went back to FOXHOUND after and starting to build Zanibar Land. MGSV's epilogue implied that Big Boss began working on Zanibar Land after escping XOF. So why did he decide to go back to working the US government? How did he go from being considered a international war criminal to becoming FOXHOUND's top ranking agent? I know that's being nitpicky, but since you're working on Metal Gear 2, looks like you may an opportunity to address that. Looking forward to the new series!
Ah yes, that is indeed a plothole, or atleast never explained, I will try to expand on that in MG2, but for now, I'm just throwing a few thoughts out there. Perhaps he is such a valuable asset (THE most valuable asset) as a soldier and military mind, it would be silly for nations to deny him offering his services, he was known as the GREATEST soldier of the 20th century after all. Also unlike The Boss, after splitting from the US to do his own thing, he would have garnered a lot of pull and ability to negotiate on his own terms. During Outer Heaven Uprising, he wasn't a known war criminal at the time I believe? he was only known as the guy who left the US to establish his own PMC, dangerous yes but not a war criminal. The truth only came out AFTER Solid Snake exposes Venom in Outer Heaven, before that the real Big Boss was working on Zanzibar Land in secret while operating in the US under FOXHOUND. Did you have any thoughts on this? It's a convoluted story, these are just scatterbrain thought rn, I may have missed something, you're right though It is actually one of the few plot points that actually wasn't addressed.
@@TheLoresmith Thanks for the reply and the opportunity to dialouge. Here's my thoughts. Re. Snake as a War Criminal stuff - The end of Peace Walker, Paz mentioned Cypher would spread fake news about Big Boss being a terrorist, and Big Boss made that speech about basicallly accepting that role. In my mind, the world - or at least the U.S. government - considered Big Boss a terrorist at that point. That's why XOF attacked Mother Base in Ground Zeroes; MSF was a rogue non-state hiding a nuclear weapon (imagine if head of a non-US PMC possesed a nuclear weapon, they would likely be treated the same way). That was also why XOF attacked the hospital at the beginning of Phantom Pain; Big Boss was still considered a terrorist then. (But you do have a point that maybe the world at large didnt know about Big Boss at all) So why was Big Boss allowed to go back to FoxHound after all the assassination attempts? My best guess is maybe once SkullFace was killed, XOF was revealed to be the true rogue actors and disbanded? Maybe that somehow changed the U.S. position narrative about Big Boss being a terrorist in future years? (We nevered learned about XOF's fate post Skull Face) But none of this explains why Big Boss himself wanted to go back to the US after the Boss's death. My best guess is that maybe Big Boss felt he had some unresolved paternal feelings about Snake given that he is essentially a war orphan with BB's genes. BB could feel some type of way about Snake being his and Eva's kid. Even though BB rejected how Snake was born, he's still wary and disgusted about Zero's manipulating him. Plus, Big Boss has some strong feelings about war ophans in general; Gray Fox for example. Also, Zanzibar Land was built to house war ophans, so it seems Big Boss feels he needs to always play their father figure. Venom wanted to kill Snake in Outer Heaven to protect Big Boss, but i think Big Boss himself is reluctant to kill a war orphan. That would explain how Snake bested Big Boss in Zanibar Land. That also explains how Big Boss addressed Snake in MGS4, Big Boss doesnt like seeing war orphans being manipulated. The ending to your own series actually validates the theory that Big Boss feel honor-bound to help and protect victims of war, incuding war orphans, by any means nessesary. Sorry for such a long ass nerdy response. These are thories from over 2 decades of being a fan, so I have a lotta thoughts about Metal Gear stuff! Hope all this helps, let me know if you have other questions, I'll be happy to help!
@@TheLoresmith Hey, I posted a rather long reply earlier. But to keep my best guess short. My most logical explaination is that Big Boss went back to FOXHOUND to keep a closer eye on Snake, and by extension, Cypher/Patriots. Even though BB never saw Snake as a son, Big Boss might've still felt some sort of kinship to Snake and hated how Zero was using him. Not sure why the US would welcome BB back without being suspcious of him, but maybe Zero was so desperate to fulfill the Boss's will, and BB would be the best person to do it. Still seems like strange logic. But after reviewing some lore, I''ll walk back the "Big Boss is a known war criminal" bit. XOF attacked Mother Base, not the UN. So the news about the attack would've been kept under wraps. But Big Boss did posses a nuclear weapon, so I'm doubtful the government would've just waved that off. Let me know if you have any other thoughts! Happy to help!

The only small nitpick I have, is that Gray Fox wasn't simply a FOXHOUND operative. Roy Campbell in MGS1 said he was a FOXHOUND Lieutenant, and Big Boss's most trusted one. Everything else however is perfect. Keep up the splendid work.
I know this is done with AI and generative content, but I will say fair play to construct something like this with good efforts in storytelling and constructing a proper actual animated-ish film based version of Outer Heaven that we have been demanding KONAMI to provide for decades. As I'm sure you will do the same with Metal Gear 2, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
I just finished watching the whole thing.... This was incredible. I wish this would've been in a playable remastered version of MG1 ..... Truly incredible work. Congrats!!!!!!!!! I am excited for MG2 (Zanzibar Land)
Did u switch voices for the big boss cuz I feel like venom takes over radio control when boss tells us to switch codec frequencies great work btw loving the video
Metal Gear 1 and 2 are so important to the overall story. I dont understand when people start with MGS1. I played MGS1 first and every time they mentioned Outer Heaven and Zanzibar it confused me. Thank you for making this. I hope they remake the MSX titles.

Absolutely appreciate what you've done here 🙏🙏🙏 this is amazing!!
The dialogue with the music when venom talks about loss hits hard.
Such a nice story and beautiful storytelling. Thank u for ur work!
Loresmith your amazing man love your work
Truly outstanding!
Now this is METAL GEAR!
Cousin, you are truly talented yo bring this to life this way and with so much efficiency in so little time.

Yes a Metal Gear 2 Snake's Revenge version of this must be made.

Grey fox is my guy and always has been
Amazing! Just subbed. Looking forward to mgs2
I just finished watching the whole thing.... This was incredible. I wish this would've been in a playable remastered version of MG1 ..... Truly incredible work. Congrats!!!!!!!!! I am excited for MG2 (Zanzibar Land)
Congratulations Loresmith you have now given me an idea for a Metal Gear live action movie
This was absolutely great!
Within a min or 2 of seeing this you instantly earn my subscription, I don't subscribe to shit but pure passion for art. Good work
Can you post the comic without subtitles? These would be some really cool wallpapers.
Did u switch voices for the big boss cuz I feel like venom takes over radio control when boss tells us to switch codec frequencies great work btw loving the video
The last we see of the true big boss was the mission briefing, everything after that is venom snake taking over, so the first codec call.
Masterpiece! I've cried...

Metal Gear 1 and 2 are so important to the overall story. I dont understand when people start with MGS1. I played MGS1 first and every time they mentioned Outer Heaven and Zanzibar it confused me. Thank you for making this. I hope they remake the MSX titles.
The infiltration of Outer Heaven Operation Intrude 1995, the defeat and death of the Phantom Big Boss code name Venom Snake 1995
2:58 dude...are you guys doing the VA too? so far its so good i genuinely had tp stop and ask "is robin atkin downes and j.k. Simmons doing the VA right now"
Your work on these vids truly is masterful.
Whoever it is thats involved in creating "Theloresmith"'s content, man, woman, group of people of various denominations. Whoever and how ever many of you there are, from me to you?
Your pretty good! *finger guns*
2 hour video on a Sunday from the Loresmith. What more could you ask for 😁😁😁
Me: downloads each episode to listen to it as a radio drama while driving.
Loresmith: drops the thing as a single video literally the day after.
Me: FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCC-!
😂 sorry, bad timing.
Grey Fox. God... making me shed legit tears.
This is awesome work! Looking forward to your follow up 😊
