    I had a frozen shoulder in Year 2022 and listened and followed some of your exercises. It worked and my right arm is back to its normal condition. I forgot to thank you after I became well. Thank You Dr Alan for your wonderful exercises. it worked so well for me.

    This video has become my frozen shoulder’s best friend. In just one session of doing these stretches, my shoulder already feels so much better. I can feel that the heaviness and stiffness has lessened. I am going to continue to do these stretches daily. I have so much hope and relief now! I can’t thank you enough Doc.     I have had bi-lateral frozen shoulders since Dec. 20th. Today, Jan. 19, I have been doing the neck and shoulder exercises from your videos for the last four weeks. After waking up from a night's sleep I am so crippled that I am nearly in tears.
    I do your exercises at least twice a day so I can tolerate the pain. They do help, but I am going for cortisone shots so I can continue doing these exercises and go to physical therapy for six weeks, as my HMO directs.
    This pain is as intense as when I had the bi-lateral knee replacements 18 years ago. I am sure I would not need the cortisone if my frozen shoulders were not bi-lateral. Be that as it may, I am very grateful to you for sharing this information.
    As a single person living alone, this information is manna from heaven because it does alleviate some of the pain so I am at least able to cook for myself. Adding starvation to this problem will not help at all! (LOL)

    This video is a gift from God. I couldn’t sleep. Propped pillows to no avail. I was advised to take NSAIDs and minimize movement and the pain got worse. This video was recommended a week ago. What a difference. Pain is less every day, mobility and sleep are coming back. Thank you.

    This is the best frozen shoulder exercise video on youtube, i have been to physiotherapy sessions, tried every frozen shoulder video i found on TH-cam, but this is far the best, my range of motion is fully back after a year of physio and daily exercises. Thank you Dr Mandel, God bless you

    These stretches totally healed me. My shoulder was so bad that I thought I was going to have to go to a doctor and get a cortisone injection. Luckily I found this video and it totally cured me. Thank you Dr. Mandell!

    I have been searching and trying many shoulder exercises in youtube and so far this works the best!     I have been practising these exercises for only about a week, but already I have noticed a great improvement in mobility and there is much less pain in my frozen left shoulder, so I shall continue practising in the hope that improvement will continue. I am a pianist and organist, so shoulder mobility is absolutely essential, and the exercises seem also to be helping me to sit in a better posture whilst playing in the hope of avoiding further damage to the shoulder.

    Thank you Dr. Mendell!!! I'm coming back to these exercises because my shoulder had returning pain. It would have been better if I had continued to do them before. I am grateful! When this first started I could not lift arm up over a table next to my chair without significant pain. It was kind of frightening and made me feel the encroachment of age. I will definitely continue. I also sleep on the opposite side and believe a significant part of this pain is caused by too many clicks on my laptop while sitting in this chair.

    after looking for months how to solve my right frozen shoulder , in addition to do MRI and checked by couple of doctors - i really came to a dead end...finally after searching for a solution I came to this amazing video ... after couple of weeks of these exercises i saw a real improvement..& after 1 year I now doing my Yoga exercises as before (Head Stand & hand stand..) like i used to do in the past.     Thank you very much, Dr Mandell, for this video. I was diagnosed with post surgical adhesive capsulitis 2 months ago.( Had labral repair and stabilization and acromioplasty done in July). The adhesive capsulitis was a devastating post surgical complication diagnosis for me. I have been religiously following this video daily for the last 10 days and I have recently found a significant increase in my range of movement. This video has truly saved my sanity and shoulder.       PLEASE WORK ON YOU ANTERIOR HEAD CARRIAGE . Post surgical tears are very common as it doesn’t correct the posture namely here the neck curvature and head position. Each cm of forward head carriage increases pressure in the disc by 2kg. That decreases perfusion of blood to the spine and nerves feeding the shoulders. This decrease blood supply and neurological function. Ani inflammatory drugs decrease lubrication it the joint , bursa labrum .

The exercises he presents will help anyone whose neck has been forced into a forward position through accidents and/or chronic strain. Reversal of the natural C-shaped curve of the neck is becoming increasingly common as people spend a lot of their day bent over a keyboard. During a workout I felt like I pulled a muscle in my upper right arm; the pain was intense and quickly radiated to my right shoulder; after I started your exercises, the pain gradually lessened with each passing day; after 2 weeks of doing your exercises, the pain is 90% gone. I am so grateful to you for very kindly sharing your expertise. Over 10 years ago, I had a frozen shoulder on my left side; I did not know how to relieve pain and increase mobility; it took many months to heal on its own.

    Brilliant. My shoulder has been rapidly losing movement and the pain has been very intense. Now that I have found these exercises In just two days I have increased range of motion and decreased pain. I have had frozen shoulder on the opposite arm and it took eighteen months to clear. I believe these exercises will help me move through this side much faster than it took for the other side. thank you

    Unbelievable! I've had two bursars drained (calcification l & r shoulders X 3 yrs ) now experiencing shoulder pain in the right shoulder. After 5 mins doing your exercises, the pain has subsided considerably. I will definitely continue. Thanks so much.

    OMG! I tried these exercises & had more results in a few minutes than with 3 months of physical therapy! They are completely different than the ones I was given there! I SO wish I had found Dr Mandell ALOT sooner! I am very confident I will make much more progress more quickly than before.     After 2 1/2 Fears Frozen Shoulder, I could'nt lift my right Arm higher then my bellybutton, and the terrible pain never lefted ne, I had a Surgery.     These simple exercises helped me a lot. To be frank my orthopaedic doctor asked me to do similar exercises but failed to explain them properly in terms of duration and repetitions of each exercise. My case deteriorated and resulted in more pain and problems in sleeping at night. I then went to a Chiropractor for 4 or 5 sessions that brought me no improvement at all. He used to perform few knocks on my back and shoulder, then he used to stretch my arm in a way and then placed on a massaging table while wiring my shoulder for muscle stimulation. First session was 40 min and the subsequent 4 sessions were 20 min long while the Chiropractor had another patient. He indicated that I should the 2 sessions weekly for 6 weeks then he will see. I honestly started to feel he was acting and decided to quit.
    Then I came across Dr. Mandell's youtube and liked the simple way he explained the exercises. I felt the improvement after a couple of days and the third night was the first night in weeks I slept well. I am doing the exercises for 3 weeks now and I am feeling improvement every day. I already recommended this video to a friend who also had same improvement.

    Awesome video!! Can't thank you enough. For the last 18 years I have been dealing with pain just about everyday and limited mobility in my should. After two surgeries and physically therapy as a teenager. My shoulder has been limited to about 70% movement on a good day.
    I do have a question. I have noticed that my scapula on my bad shoulder has much more flexibility than my good shoulder/scapula. Is it possible that through the years it would have become more flexible in order for my shoulder to find more range of motion? If so how to I how my scapula in place to stretch the shoulder?

    I've two frozen shoulders at different stages and have been struggling with pain and immobility. Physiotherapist said I'd need two manipulation under anaesthesia. I found this video have been doing these exercises for 5 days and have noticed I'm getting a better range of movement and less pain (dressing in particular). The exercises he presents will help anyone whose neck has been forced into a forward position through accidents and/or chronic strain. Reversal of the natural C-shaped curve of the neck is becoming increasingly common as people spend a lot of their day bent over a keyboard.     Hi Doc! These exercises are spot on! I’ve been taking my MIL to the therapist 2 to 3 times a week. These exercises are the same exact moves that her therapist has been doing with her! The visits have cost her a lot of money! I’m going to share your video with her and hope that your video inspires her to do these exercises at home, everyday, without having to spend more money!     I'm having a terrible shoulder pain for the last three days. Taking analgesic didn't make any better. Until I watched this video and try to exercise , masyaallah I feel much better! Thank you so much !

    Thank you for this video! I was in a bad car wreck last week and I don't want to lose range of motion in my shoulder/back area. Put my timer on and did these and not too bad w/ the pain.

    All of these exercises significantly helped me heal my stage 2 frozen shoulder. Within 3 months of doing these exercises 6 days a week, I was able to race in an Xterra off-road triathlon and qualify for the Xterra World Championship! After this event, I found I was plateauing and needed some trigger point release and other strengthening exercises for continued mobility improvement to get back to 100%. Thankfully the end is now in sight and the pain is behind me!! 🙏 Very grateful to Dr Mandella as I would definitely not be this far along without his help!! FWIW: Frozen shoulder has been the hardest and most painful condition and recovery I have ever endured.

      @@hadawyrabid8535 Sorry, just saw this question now. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I used to do them mornings, after a warm shower, and for as long as comfortable. It’s been almost two years since - I do it as a habit now and then - and shoulder is almost back to 100%. Goodluck a d Godspeed. 🧿

    It's a minor oversight, thought you should have recommended warming up the shoulder with a heating pad before starting the different exercises. Did all of the exercises and found them to be very helpful. I believe the root of my underlying condition is caused by my favorite chair that I sit in every night. Thanks for making this video.
