I am not running an ebrake on this truck, that's why oh don't see that. Also during this "mock up" there were no bearings installed but the whole kit is now installed with seals, bearings, pads and what not.

I bought that kit to do that conversion in my 1994 nissan hardbody 2.4l ..and to this day I still can't finish any of the parts that you recommend buying are compatible and I don't think I can finish it I think I already spent a lot of money and the rotors didn't fit in the axels and the caliper from 1988 isuzu trooper are to tiny and pads are to wide so 🤔 I have to cut the center of the disc and reduce the thickness of the pads but that will cost more money.. and I don't think that will work... i don't know what to do i feel so frustrated 😕 😫....
@@eddiekilby on the front, sure. The rear has a one piece axle from the wheel lug flange to the gears. The rear doesnt have a wheel bearing lock nut. The bearing is pressed onto the axle shaft behind the caliper. I didnt see anything go onto this axle setup that would hold it in other than the brake pads and caliper/caliper bolts

Axle shaft, Outer wheel bearing grease seal, Wheel bearing cage, Spacer, Wheel bearing, Plane washer, Wheel bearing lock washer, Wheel bearing lock nut, Oil seal.
@@eddiekilby I'll take your word for it. I've never taken my rear axle apart to that degree so I have no idea. Going by what was in the video, there wasnt anything obvious that I seen that was holding it in.
On my particular project I ran no ebrake as the truck was airbagged and physically layed on the ground. Personally I never looked to see if there was an ebrake option. I no longer have the truck or brake system

+isidro gasca it's not needed I will not be running one there best needed if you plan on hauling weight as it adjusts for break pressure when weight is added
+scrappingpavement one more question is there any way to remove the dust shield, bearing housing and re press the studs without a press? im thinking of buying a small press from harbor freight then returning it. but then again i dont think the smallest press will fit my axle
So if the axle just slides back in though the bearing retainer then what exactly retains the axle? You pressed the axle out don't you need to press the axle back in?

hi one thing i did not see in your video putting back up the hand brakes cable onto the vehicle and if the stock cables work

What holds the axle from coming out? The brake pad?
That's my question, too. The entire axle is stuck in place by nothing but the strength of the caliper bolts

I was going to attempt a mannual brake setup but the truck got parted out

Well the truck this was going on was a bagged truck that layed on the ground. Which imo dont need ebrakes becasue a truck on the ground dont move lol.

crazyfreak7800 look in your door jamb there should be a sticker with all your specs, in the bottom left it will say what axle you have.
