For who's interested: Story wise, "Nodame Cantabile" is a very good anime and manga, it has been among the most sold manga and anime in Japan for several years and for a reason. It's light but it's very entertaining, a plethora of funny charactes and deep perspectives, it's also probably the first classical music themed manga and anime around. "Sakamichi no Apollon" is a very good anime, more stylish and elegant also animation-wise, more of a aesthetic coming-of-age-story. I've always found "Carole and Tuesday" a bit canned and forced, despite the good animation. "You lie in April" falls a tad too much in the category of young sentimental kind of story, so I'm probably not the right audience for it.
La Corda D' Oro is one of the anime that got me interested in listening to classical music. I love the music choices. I also ended up learning how to play the clarinet and one of the characters do play clarinet.
I also recommend giving Nodame Cantabile a *real* Chance. 😉 It's honestly worth it. I watched, some many Years ago, the very first Season of it and was immediately hooked and right-away bingewatched all three Seasons (+ Extra Content ) of it! Basically it's a Love-Story between Chiaki, who's a great Pianist, but wants to become an Conductor, who can't leave Japan because of his Fear for Planes and Megumi Noda (aka NoDame) who is also a great Pianist, but hides her Fear of becoming a Professional, because of an Incident in the Past. They both slowly slowly melt their Fears and overcome their Struggles, get together as an odd Couple and the Viewers get presented with a funny, heartwarming, musical and dramatical Story from Beginning to the End. It's seriously worth it. In Terms of Music-Genre in Anime, it's a *Must-Watch* 😉 PS: Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto nr.02 op18 is nowadays my most liked Classical-Piece because of that Anime. Chiaki plays it and it sounds frikkin awesome! Unfortunately, i couldn't find any Anime-Content on TH-cam to show you. Bummer....😞
The way she plays in nodame cantabile has a context. You need to watch previous episodes so you can understand why she played it that way and why he says what he says. But I haven’t watched most of these! So now I have new ones to watch! Thank you!
Your lie in April is for sure one of the best animes ever made and without a doubt the best music themed one. So, I would recommend to give it more light next time. It went through it so fast.
Not giving Nodame Cantabile a 100 out of 10 is crazy it's the best anime ever and the animation is most often better than any other music related anime 😳
Love Nodame Cantabile, 100% recommend it. Also nothing to do with piano but an amazing anime in general is One Piece, since you are entering the world of anime I also recommend it. If you think it has too many episodes you can watch the fan edited page One Pace
Great video!!! Now that you are slowly getting pulled to anime piano, i think it would be a great idea for you to react to imo the best anime composer/pianist Animenz. He self-composes songs from many anime and you can really tell he came from a classical background. This one is the one that had impressed me the most th-cam.com/video/TyjgGSTA0QQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bWZilbUE7ALiLFXp And this is i think his most famous one th-cam.com/video/sEQf5lcnj_o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8Z7GFK4i_lSq70Uh Enjoy!!!

sakamichi no apollon's medley is probably my favorite jazz piece in all of anime

Can never listen to Chopin Ballade No 1 again the same way since Your Lie In April. Also Liebesleid by Kreisler. I think both were done really well.
SAMEEEEEEEE
I love ballade no 1 a lot, after your lie in april I love it MORE
I don’t typically cry in concert, but last time I heard the most beautiful trumpet sound in a concert and tears were just rolling down my face
Your lie in april is the best anime of classic music
I also recommend giving Nodame Cantabile a *real* Chance. 😉

Oh YES! Thank you for watching more anime and react to it!!!!
If you are going to do another episode, I would recommend looking at blue giant, another jazz one but some amazing piano solos
2:44 my boi going full Glenn Gould here :P
Have you watched "Forest of Piano?" Particularly the second season Chopan festival.
First season ends tragically. Second season, heroically.
Ouaaaiss plus de vidéo svp🎉
