I don't think people or individuals understand but I noticed how passionate you are about NCO taking charge. It gives me a lot of confidence to know senior enlisted will support their junior NCOs.

I absolutely crushed my first board last May. SGM gave me a coin and said I had one of the best boards he’d seen in his 26 years. I’m on the fast track and going to my SSG board in September. Here’s to 6 in 4! Thanks for everything 1SG

@@BillStoker thank you. I had almost verbatum situational questions that you had gone over. It was awesome. A slow constant watching of your videos gave me a depth of knowlage that gave me an abillity to really talk shop about the subjects

UPDATE absolutely pounded on the door set the tone, said my bio loud and proud “ had to do my bio walking back and forth infront of the table😂” and nailed every question on the board! For others looking in the comments these videos are a amazing base for knowledge but also dive into the adps tc fm etc! Moral of the story I got my promotion status and was told to expect to be selected as nco of the quarter board when it comes around after I pick up! Thank you so much 1sg you inspire me to be a good knowledgeable leader !

    1SG,
Attended my practice board today in prep for the real deal next week. Got very good feedback overall, and it is thank to your work on this channel. I will make sure my soldiers view this resource when the time comes for them to go to the P board. Thank you for the effort you have put in to furthering the careers of junior soldiers.

Honestly, 1SG, I’d love for you to dedicate a few videos of rants. It can be intimidating when you’re the one on the receiving end, they’re phenomenal lessons to take in.
I’m a junior NCO and I know I have a lot to learn, but book knowledge only gets you so far in terms of executing said knowledge.

I understand the charge of quarters scenario but would it be wrong to randomly task a Soldier to do it? I'm asking because I feel like they could say you have to go through their chain of command

Question on counseling, someone else’s soldier. soldier that throws threats that you were not their NCO you can’t do nothing about it. How to clean up this mindset?

I have a question. Not sure if the book of the book I'm using is old or not but it states there are 6 types of power. Coercive, legitimate, information, reward, expert, referent. I'm just curious where the discrepancy comes from.

my guide is from 2020 and lists authoritative, affiliate, democratic, coaching - those are commitment and the last two are pacesetting and coercive- those are compliance
