Hey First Sergeant, i just got my P statues for my new Unit. The CSM was wondering why the hell he should promote me. I haven't even been here for 2 weeks! I spoke confidently, clear and precise. Did so well on the board and saying the NCO creed the man gave me a battalion coin and is currently fighting my Brigade to permanently keep me and work for him. 1:17 I have the MOI it is extremely broad and had over 20 regulations. How do I narrow down what I should focus on for my study material?
I just realized that my Promotion points dropped back down to the first-ever points I collected since joining. I saw that when I checked my PPW through the new system, IPSSA. I have accumulated more points in the past year though. The cut-offs for my MOS keeps dropping by 10-15 points every month in the last 3 months. Do you think that since my Points are now low, will it still affect the cut-off list? Even though I I know I made enough points to make the list before that reduction happened.?
Interesting….unsure. BUT, you can request an audit be completed if there were errors in the system and you should have been promoted.
When you recite the army values at the baord?
Do you just say the values or do I need to recite the the definitions as well?
Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, personal courage
Depends on how it’s asked. Most of the time it’s just a list that’s desired.
