@@elianazuniga6541 Actually the top comment should read both physical AND verbal abuse should not be tolerated at all. I mention both sexes because a lot of men (especially young ones) are embarrassed to speak up or leave a toxic relationship because they think it makes them look weak. It’s obviously a huge sign of strength to get out of a bad situation. I find domestic violence extremely disgusting and cowardly and therefore all the comments here obvious. However perhaps some might need some reinforcement knowing it’s ok to be a man and seek help and that it’s not a sign of weakness. In fact for anyone leaving a toxic relationship they should be praised and admired for their strength. What’s obvious to you might not be obvious to another person. Obviously.

Narcissism may be running amok, but there are always fools that will bend over for them & create offspring with them who will more than likely become narcissists or suffer from other psych issues.
The cycle never stops and that's because many adults rather become victims or play the victim than do the work to become a healthy adult and choose better partners & father's/mothers for their innocent kids.

I guarantee you that he got in her face and FORCED it out of her ... then became full of rage and planned her elimination. I experienced this myself, and it was only AFTER hours of demanding interrogation that I told him (now ex) I wanted out permanently. We have 4 children together ... and he still threatens to kill me to this day (10+ years after our separation). Doc, thank you for another fascinating video! As one of your #1 fans for years; I have a request. I sometimes think about the short you made with your wife where you wished her a happy birthday and wedding anniversary and said, "long term relationships may be a lot of work, but they pay high dividends". If at all possible, could you please, Pleeaasse make a video speculating, of course, 😊what makes a long-term relationship successful? Is it similar interests and personalities? Can two people really just naturally be a great fit for one another? What is the key to a successful relationship/marriage? I know so many people who are divorced, unhappy with their partners, and have often been told, nothing lasts. I would love to know your thoughts on this topic. Thank you doctor Grande and congratulations on all your success !❤❤❤

Had this income disparity happen to a family member. She worked and made pretty much 100% of the income.
The man didn't do as much as she wanted. He was always seen watching sports, playing video games, or working out, while it looked like she did everything else. He took care of the vehicles and he would fill in to do things that she couldn't physically do because she couldn't be two places at the same time. Love for him turned from romantic love, to loving him like any other family member. It felt more like she had an adult child.
It came very close to divorce, and she even consulted a lawyer. She was told that she would lose a lot in a divorce. Even though he did basically nothing, she would have to pay him. He would get to keep the house because he was the one "home with the kids" while she worked. He would also get primary custody of the kids, and she would get the kids of weekends only.
Given that he never physically hurt her, and it would destroy the family for the kids, she didn't pursue a divorce any further.
Oddly enough, things got better after that. Now he actually gets the kids ready. Gets the kids to and from school and activities. He does homework with them everyday and makes sure they are succeeding academically. He cleans the house and takes care of all the yard work. He does laundry. He takes car of the cars. He does anything that needs to get done for the family or that she asks him to do.
A warning to women out there. You are going to have a lot of people trying to sabotage your life and your family. These will usually be your "friends" and co-workers. They will be in your ear telling you that you deserve better. They won't ever tell you that you are wrong. They will push you towards being resentful of your partner for any little reason they can find. They will validate the most unreasonable thoughts and worries you have about your relationship with your partner. Women will do this to other women just because they themselves are unhappy or they don't want you to be happy. What you really need to watch out for are men who do this in the workplace, as this is them "grooming" you and their intentions are not honorable. They having one thing in mind, and that is to get you to be unfaithful to your partner.
