Wow, thank you so much for posting this! I haven't seen this in years! You've made my day! National Theatre Corp. was bought by Regal Cinemas in 1994. The following were National Theatre locations: Great Lakes Mall Cinema Garfield Mall Movies Severance Movies Brookgate Movies Great Northern Movies Midway Mall Twin Summit Mall Cinema Akron Square Mall Cine 6 Montrose Movies
Thanks for posting! I've heard the audio of this trailer before but I never thought I'd ever see the actual trailer. But thanks to you I can now say that I have!
A few motion graphics from the CASCOM Select Effects library were used in this policy trailer. The same animation of the woman sitting on a chair floating in outer space was also used in a Kintek Stereo sound trailer from the 80s. I'm still not sure what stock music was used in this policy trailer, as apparently the Coming Attractions and Feature Presentation snipes for this chain used a different version of this music, which I also heard on bumpers for VTV3 (Vietnam) and some TV channel in Italy. I forget which one though.
Where was NTC headquartered? Whenever I type "National Theatre Corporation" on Yahoo or Google, I end up getting the DC musical stage and not the chain. EDIT: Never mind-- saw that it was based in Cleveland.
Who else knew every word of this? "Surrounding you with space... full, rich sound... and a state-of-the-art presentation"
Dave Malkoff Totally memorized back in the day!! I still remembered most of it!
I worked there in 89 and yes I remember every word!
This takes me back.

Cinema South in Boardman used this.
It's real sad that movie theaters don't remind you not to smoke anymore... I feel this is very important!
What company created the generic "Compudater" package? I've been looking for this animation for many years.
