Thanks Multiple Personality Disorder, this bike is meant to do it all!
The ride modes really tame this bike to a level everyone can enjoy, but turn up the Volume (ride mode Sport) and dial back the Nanny modes (fine tune your mode) and you have a beast on your hands, you can truly grow your skills with this bike and tune up the intensity as you go.
with luggage I think this is perfect for extended trips to explore better roads farther from home!
the biggest wow factor is how stable this bike is through the corners, its so small you would expect it to be a bit jittery, but its not at all, it is more stable than many larger bikes, and better by a large margin !

I just recently moved to Washington state and was trying to help my neighbor get a bike, I recommend this one for his style. And just realized while watching your video the roads looked familiar lol your in the town I went to high school in lol I rode those rides all the time when I lived there... fun roads... thank you for your input. Love the backnroads and lake del velle

Thats cool! I grew up in this area, but also lived in WA for a few years, then back here!
      They are some fun roads!

I'm looking at one of these as my second bike (coming off a 450twin 45hp, been riding for over a year with it daily). Glad to see it's not as wheelie happy as some reviews have lead me to believe.

This bike can act like a kitten or a total hulagon bike, the power and traction control settings really give a lot of range in the riding experience!
Really quite amazing, I think you will love the bike.
Suspension settings are critical on this bike ours was set a bit soft and the forks were up in the triple clamps, lowering the grunt of the bike, the combination had the center stand dragging in corners, after setting it to the standard settings in the book it was an amazing transformation for the better!

Hey dude I was really considering this bike like a cheaper Hypermotard. Does it still have the wild Hypermotard power and feel?

Thanks for checking out the Video, I some points to consider,
      1) you sit a bit lower on this bike vs the Hypermotard, the seat has a step so you are a bit more locked in to position than on the Hypermotard. (when going from one to the other it took just a bit to get used to but is actually a nice feeling, over 6' one may opt for a flat taller seat.
      2) it seems a bit more refined than the Hypermotard, power, TC and ABS options go more to the extremes on this the Hyperstrada (much better than the Hypermotard in this way.
      3) with a center stand and slightly lower stance this the Hyperstrada needs to have the Right suspension set up for your weight (the Ducati Recommended settings are good, but the bikes do not come set up that way) both bikes do not come set up with Ducati's recommended setting so they need to be done on both (this is a BIG deal) on the Hyperstrada if not set up right you will start to scrap the center stand when leaned way over.
POWER: Yes this bike Has the same Wild power of the Hypermotard, in sport mode with TC off its the same as the Hypermotard. (in street mode it is easy to ride a quite tame, a massive difference in each tune, and they can be customized, quite cool)
FEEL: well they feel a bit different, a) because of the seat b) it has a wind screen. overall the Hyperstrada feels more planted through corners than the Hypermotard, and is a bit more cofertable on longer rides.
In my opinion: for the same year bikes Hypermotard or Hyperstrada, I would take the Hyperstrada every time its a better bike in every way, plus you get some cool luggage as a bonus!
      * for the all out halogen bike: I would buy the Hypermotard 1100, I like it better than both of these bikes because of the Tuque and power at lower RPM, it makes for a lot more fun on the street, and the size fits me better at 6' tall.
I hope that is some help

@@TRCAdventures 🙏Thank you for taking time out to type this really appreciate the help. It's really hard to find head to head comparisons between the Hypermotard and Hyperstrada. Found a cheap Hyperstrada I'm definitely going to take now. 👍

Hi I’m considering to get a 2014 Hyperstrada! Did u ever had any electrical issues with dashboard or in general!? I saw a few videos and articles of people having electric issues , dashboard blinking like a Christmas tree and no power on the bike, and no able to solve the problem!

Do you know if the windscreen and mounts can be removed?

    • @TRCAdventures
      @TRCAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว

the windscreen is held on by 4 small screws, easy to remove, the mount is part of a small backing plate, it can be removed but would leave a gap behind the head light

Ah good point, I need to get another scooter and do just that, I once took a zuma 50 to mt Hamilton and back WFO all the way! 100 mile round trip, 1gallon (thank god, as it only holds 1 gallon) yikes! probably should have know that before I took off!
